67 Chapter 67 : Seven’s Harmony

Ryu said, "Roga."

Roga replied, "Ryu…what possessed you to let the Spirit Of Destruction inside of you?!"

"I will not be embarrassed any longer. Seven was my first love…even though we dated for a week…it meant something to me. No one had noticed me like she did before. I thought we were gonna last forever…you were my first girlfriend.. and then I see you.. with this Duri kid.."

Seven replied, "You dumbass! You cheated on me!"

"It was an accident."

"How the hell do you cheat on accident?! And I'm not even dating Duri!"

"But you have feelings for him. Everyone knows it. Admit it…and I'll spare him."

"Ryu..you're a lunatic. Allowing the Spirit of Destruction to consume you, all so you can get my attention?!"

"I shall get rid of Duri, so I will be the only one in your life."

"You.."

Duri said, "Heh?!"

Tek says, "Incoming.."

The zombified villagers got closer, and Roga yelled, "I'll deal with Nami and Ezrel! If I can deal with them, it might turn the villagers back to normal!"

Tek said, "I'll wrap these villagers up."

Duri was about to say something, until Ryu was already in his face in a punching motion.

Duri thinks, 'Damn he's quick!'

Ryu said, "This is the end for you."

Seven was beside them in her Spirit of Wrath form, saying, "Not today!"

Seven hit Ryu in the face, and they both went flying towards a few village houses, crashing through them all.

Duri and Roga yelled, "Seven!!"

Tek said, "We have no time to rest, we gotta move! Now!"

The villagers ran into them, but Roga started to run past all their legs, heading to the volcano.

Roga thinks, 'What the hell made them do this?! And Seven…Ryu…everything is taking a turn for the worst! Val is here..'

Tek was jumping on top of a bunch of houses, and he covered his body with his chains.

'Covering myself with my chains will block me from getting affected by the villagers' touch. I reckon Duri is using his shadow form to do the same.'

Tek looked at Duri, and Duri was in his shadow form, and he was running on top of the tables.

Duri said, "Shit! Shit! Shit! Zombie villagers, two old women trying to sacrifice us to a fake god, and the Spirits of whatever are fighting!"

The villagers got close enough to Duri, jumping and flipping around fast.

Duri dodged them, jumping into the air. Duri stuck his fist out towards them, and he was about to send a shadow wrap at them to wrap them up.

'After all the training I've done…and after going into my Titan form before, I'm able to create my shadows to practically anything I want.'

Duri was tackled by a group of villagers at a fast speed, and they all crashed through a few village houses.

'Dammit! I couldn't even react!'

They slid through the many walls, destroying everything.

Duri said to them, "Oi, snap out of it! I don't wanna be forced to like, break all of yer necks! It's not you personally, it's me! Well…it'll kinda be your fault!"

Duri jumped backwards away from them, and he was sliding back into another small village house made out of bricks.

The villagers were running all over the walls and floor, going full speed.

'Gotta react fast!'

Duri crossed his arms quickly, and he formed black shadow wraps from his arms.

'Come a little closer..'

The incoming villagers got close, about two inches away from Duri. Duri dashed past all of them, and he was on the other side of them.

There was black shadow wrap trapping all of the villagers against the walls and against each other, and they struggled to get out.

Duri turned around to look at them, thinking, 'These poor people. Being mind controlled. Reminds me of what Zabel wants to do with us. Why would the leader of the village do this to them? This is fucking cruel.'

Duri said to them, "Hold tight here, zombies. We're gonna fix this shit soon enough."

Duri turned around and he punched through the wall, falling down a large hill, and as he was falling, a couple dozen villagers were jumping at him from.

'Crap!'

Duri trapped himself inside of a shadow ball, and he knocked all the villagers away from him, making them smash through houses.

Duri stuck his hands out of the ball, and made more shadow wraps, and those shadow wraps were trapping the villagers against objects, holding them against their will.

Duri got out of the shadow ball, and Tek was running past him.

Tek said, "Go help Seven. I can feel her pulse from here…she's dying. If she continues to fight Ryu.."

Duri answered, "But you need help too, dumbass!"

"I can handle the villagers, fool. I am more capable than you think. For once in your foolish life, trust me."

"I don't trust ANYONE…but in this situation.."

"Duri..!"

"Don't fuck up and get yourself killed! I'm the one who's supposed to kill you, remember that!"

"I wouldn't want it any other way, rival!"

Duri and Tek ran past each other with serious looks, heading to where they needed to be.

Tek was running towards a horde of villagers, and Tek thinks, 'Now to set up barriers..'

Tek stretched his hands out, and two chain walls formed from the ground and surrounded the villagers, trapping them inside. From the chain walls, chains bursted out, wrapping around the villagers, subduing them.

Tek jumped over them, and trapped them some more, saying to himself, "Keeping them away from the fight is the right thing to do. Obviously."

Tek landed on the ground, and some villagers bursted from underground. They threw punches and kicks, Tek was sliding across the ground and spinning to avoid their attacks.

'Is it possible to knock them out?! No…I can't hurt them. Gotta play it safe.'

Tek jumped back, then jumped to the left and right fast, making the villagers confused with his movements.

'I see they are not fully aware of all movements, they can barely keep up with my footwork. It's like basketball, breaking the ankles of my foolish opponents with my handles, that's how I should treat this..since these villagers are fast as hell now. I'm the handler…they are the defenders.'

Tek used his quick footwork to jump and side step in all directions of the area, making the villagers run in separate ways, making them bump into each other.

Tek ran backwards, then spun around, tapped his feet to the right and back, then fake moved to the right, and then did a side flip to the left, making the villagers slip and trip over each other.

'That's it!'

Tek ran around them one time in a full circle, and he had them all wrapped up in one chain.

Tek said, "A couple more down.."

Tek turned around, and saw 30 more villagers dashing towards him.

Tek continued to say, "A bunch more to go."

Up high on the hills where the other houses were, Ryu in his Spirit of Destruction form was clashing with Seven in her Spirit of Wrath form.

Ryu grabbed Seven's face, and slammed it into the ground, causing an explosion to come from his attack.

Val, the Spirit of Destruction, was speaking through Ryu, saying to Seven, "I want the Spirit of Wrath. I want to merge with it…if I do..I'll be able to cause more destruction than what I'm truly capable of. In the spirit realm..I've dreamed of causing so much atrocity…so much chaos…that's what I exist for. The pleasure of intense destruction and explosions."

Seven responded, "Fuck..you!"

Ryu grabbed Seven's throat, and he started punching her in the face over and over again. Each punch came with an explosion, which was the main base for all of Ryu's attacks.

Seven's eyes were fully white now, and she had blood all over her face, dripping from her nose, eyes, and mouth. She tried to stop Ryu, but Ryu was continuing to punch away with the explosions.

Ryu was speaking now, saying, "Do you love me now, Seven?! Am I worthy enough?! Is Duri better than me now?!"

Seven answered with a chuckle, "Haha…he's way fucking better…than your goofy ass…"

Seven spit on Ryu, and that pissed him off.

Ryu went for another attack, but Seven headbutted Ryu, sending him into the air with a cracked face.

Seven dashed up there to him, and she had purple orbs in both hands. She was throwing many of them at Ryu, and they made contact. The orbs were causing bright purple explosions, knocking Ryu all over the sky.

Ryu yelled, "Is this how you really feel about me?! Did you ever even think about me after we broke up?!"

Seven got up to Ryu's face, and she had a purple glow around her fists, and she punched Ryu right and left with them, knocking blood out of him.

Seven said, "You cheated! You know how hurt I was?! You even came up to me and wanted to date me! Why even attempt to go out with me if you're just gonna play me like a fool! Tell me if that makes sense!"

Seven hit him one more time, and purple lightning blasted from the sky, blasting Ryu all the way down to the ground, making him crash through more houses.

Ryu got up, and he said, "Enough of this. Enough!!"

Suddenly, four eyes grew on Ryu. One eye on his back, one eye on his face, one giant eye on his chest, and one on his neck.

Seven was running towards him, thinking, 'I'm at my limit..I'm still not used to using this form..but I don't care…if The Spirit of Destruction doesn't get beaten now..then..'

Seven got closer, and the eyes on Ryu's body twitched, and explosions were coming from an unseen force, blasting Seven all over the place.

Seven hacked up blood, and Ryu was behind her, and he punched her in the back, and a giant red explosion came from that blow.

Ryu then grabbed Seven's face, and slammed it into the ground, making another large red explosion. Ryu went around the area still holding Seven's head, and he was smashing her face into everything he saw, making more explosions, leveling the hill they were standing on.

Ryu threw Seven across the ground, and Seven had tears in her eyes, and her body was twitching.

Ryu mocked, "You must be at your limit. Is that why you're crying?!@

Seven tried to stand up, and she looked at Ryu, saying, "Once again..fuck..you!"

Purple spirit hands came from out of nowhere, and they snatched Ryu up.

Seven raised her hand to the sky, and purple bolts of lighting came from it, blasting Ryu in the face, hurting him.

Seven ran and limped over to Ryu, and she jumped. She turned her body downward, allowing the heel of her foot to smash on Ryu's head, making him slam to the ground.

More purple lighting came from the sky hitting Ryu, and Seven summoned more fists, and they were pounding on Ryu.

Seven was slamming purple orbs on him, damaging Ryu.

'I can feel my form going away..I have to keep fighting...until I can win..!'

Seven kept going with her attacks, until Ryu casually stood up, and he said, "ENOUGH!!!"

A red and black explosion took place, blasting Seven and her powers away. Seven's ears were ringing as she flew backwards, and her Spirit of Wrath form was going away.

'No..no…don't go away yet..I have to fight..!'

Seven was back to normal, besides her chest, which had a little bit of the Wrath form in it. She was using all of her power and energy to hold that little bit of her form, she was holding it so strong, that she sweated blood.

Ryu asked, "Why do you struggle? You won't win."

Seven replied, "Ryu..even though you're crazy…the Spirit of Destruction is still..influencing your bloodlust..I can't let you…roam free.."

"Hohh? Now you noticed the stakes of this? This will all be over..if you just love me-if you just hand yourself over..give me Wrath!"

Seven legs were shaking as she stood all up all the way, trying to hold the little bit of the Wrath form on her chest.

"I'm not done..yet. Not yet.."

"Not you trying to be a hero. It doesn't in this story. I am the main character!"

Ryu's eyes shook, and another explosion came out of nowhere and hit Seven. Seven flew backwards, and she hit something. She hit a sharp log coming out of a pile of rubble. The sharp tip of the log went straight through her back and out her chest, in which she was STILL holding a little piece of her Wrath form.

Seven screamed, and she yelled, "Agh!!! Dammit.."

Ryu said, "Seven..no..don't die on me-YES! Give me the Spirit of Wrath!"

Ryu picked up a sharp piece of metal from the rubble behind him, and he threw it at Seven.

As the piece was coming, Seven cried, and she closed her eyes. She started having a flashback..

[9 years ago]

Kid Seven smashed through a school bus that was full of kids, and she fell in the street. She had a streak of blood on her face, and there was a buff white wolf walking towards her. The white wolf has Seven's arm in his mouth.

The white wolf said, "You have a latent power within you. You've been around someone with the Spirit of Wrath. You've been absorbing its power..give it."

Seven responded, "I don't know what you're talking about!!"

Seven's right arm was gone, and she was crying.

Seven continued, "Leave me alone!"

The wolf scratched Seven across the face, then used his tail to wrap it around Seven's neck, and slammed her against two cars, then threw her across the road.

The wolf wasted no time running towards, saying, "I will have it, girl."

Seven was trying to crawl away, and the wolf continued to come after her.

The wolf got above her, but here came the cat Roga, yelling, "Seven!"

Roga grabbed the wolf by the throat, turned around, and threw the wolf away.

Seven was laying on her back, dying, but Roga said, "I'm gonna have to do this for your own good..you're a perfect host for me..for the Spirit of Wrath..it's the only way to save you.."

Seven answered, "Roga…?"

The wolf yelled, "No! Don't you dare put your Spirit of Wrath in her!"

Roga put his head on Seven's head, and a glowing white aura was flowing into Seven's body.

"No!!"

Roga said to the wolf, "It's over for you..Val!"

The wolf got closer to them, but Seven shot up from the ground, spun around in the air with a purple glow in her eyes. Beams shot from her eyes, and it blasted the wolf away in one shot, killing it.

Val, the Spirit of Destruction inside of the wolf yelled, "I'll be back!!! And I will have that Spirit of Wrath!"

[END OF FLASHBACK]

[PRESENT DAY]

[Village]

Seven was still stuck in the branch, and she thinks, 'I had no power..before I took the Spirit of Wrath..I felt special…I felt invincible…but I always knew…Val..the Spirit of Destruction..would always come back. I'm sorry..everyone..'

The sharp piece of metal went through Seven's collar bone, making another explosion in her face.

Seven still held onto that small power in her chest, crying, "I won't..lose.."

Ryu dashed towards Seven with his fists charging up and getting large. He said, "I told you I would be back..I told you. Now..let's end this."

Ryu threw a punch, bashing Seven across the face, making another explosion. Ryu was about to swing again, but Duri came out of nowhere.

Duri flew in from above, and he threw a punch at Ryu. Ryu was about to block it, but Duri slammed his fist down away from Ryu, spun around in a 360, and kicked Ryu in the face as hard as he could.

Ryu coughed up blood, and he went blasting many feet away, rolling down the hill and crashing through many village houses that were stacked on top of each other.

Duri turned to Seven, and he pulled Seven off of the branch, and pulled the piece of metal out of her chest. Seven was still fighting to keep her Wrath form on her chest.

Duri said, "Seven.."

Seven answered, "Duri…you came for me.."

"I mean..Tek told me to. What a dumbass. But..you don't need to fight anymore. You're at your limit."

"No!! We need to keep him away from down there…The little girls…the ones that were singing earlier..the ones that beat you and Tek up.. weren't affected by Nami's chant..I saw them hiding in a house..they gotta get out of there…"

Seven tried to stand up, but she could, falling into Duri's arms.

Duri replied, "Hell no. You're staying here.."

Duri created shadow wraps, and he wrapped them around Seven's chest to stop the bleeding.

Duri says, "You're strong..holding that form in your chest..saved you from dying..that's real willpower..you did good..now stay..I'm gonna kill that son of a bitch."

"No! Ryu is still in there somewhere. Val, the Spirit of Destruction is influencing his mind..Ryu can't control the Destruction like I can control the Wrath. Pretty soon, Ryu might die. Duri..I hate Ryu..but take him down alive. Knock him out..and subdue him."

Duri stated, "..In my Titan form, I was able to barely knock Ferrow's soul out of his body..you think that will knock the Spirit of Destruction out of Ryu?"

"It..should. But..you have to be careful..Ryu's soul and Val's spirit will come out at the same time if you do that..if you can..please destroy Val."

"I will. The riska of me being in my Titan form are heavy..too many innocents around..but I have to take the gamble for the sake of everyone here. It's the only way to win this. I'm going. For now, rest."

Duri was about to leave, but Seven grabbed Duri's arm, saying, "Duri..thank you."

Duri answered, "Don't say it too much. It's annoying."

Seven kissed Duri on the cheek, and then she laid down to rest. Duri's cheeks blushed hard under his shadow form, and he thought, 'Oh. Oh. A girl kissed me..for the first time. If I fuck up..that kiss would've been for nothing. I gotta go!'

Duri created a shadow cube around Seven to keep her a little safe, and he dashed off.

Duri was running down the hill, jumping from house to house, and he was looking through all of them at the same time.

'Where are all those girls?!'

Duri kept going, until he heard screams.

Duri's ear twitched to those screams, and he ran towards it.

In a small room, the same little girls that were singing earlier were cowering near a wall, crying their eyes out and holding each other as the villagers were slowly walking towards them.

The villagers were hesitating to attack, they grunted over and over, but they kept inching forward.

The girls screamed:

"Mommy, no!"

"Please!!"

"Someone help us!!!"

"Daddy! It's me!!"

Duri kept falling in through the ceiling, but he used his back to keep the rubble from falling on the girls.

The girls exclaimed to Duri, "Seven's boyfriend!"

Duri said, "I didn't forget that you little brats beat me and Tek up earlier. But I'll set that aside for now."

Seeing Duri made the villagers go mad, zipping forward at inside speeds.

Duri created a large shadow snake, and it wrapped around the villagers, holding them down.

The girls continued to cry, looking their loved ones in the face.

Duri said, "I figured you kids wouldn't be mind controlled. Mind control only works on developed minds…you are all still children with much more to learn. Does that apply to Zabel's plan? Probably not, He plans to use a ritual that'll break the laws of anything. No, I'm getting fucking distracted."

Duri kneeled down to the little girls, and said, "Oi..you'll all be fine, and your parents will be fine..don't cry, dammit. I'm not good at cheering children up..oh! Listen to me..do you all wanna sing? Again?"

The girls started calming down, sniffing and puffing.

"Singing..?"

"Uh, yes! I'm gonna put you all in a see thru shadow cube barrier in the sky to keep you safe, and you're all going to sing as loud as you can. Loud enough for the entire area to hear you. Maybe if you all sing..your parents will be nice again? But you have to be brave..and be strong..

"A-are you sure?"

"I'm not positive, but it's worth a shot. You can all be heroes, and try freeing your parents with your voices. Okay?!"

The girls all looked at each other, and they said, "Okay! We'll do it!"

Duri grinned.

Seconds later, the girls were high in the sky over the village in a shadow cube barrier, and they all stood in formation side by side. They couldn't help but cry, but they were all trying to cheer each other up.

"Be strong! We can do this!"

"We got this! Our parents will be okay! You heard Duri!"

"Yokai!!!"

The girls instantly began to sing beautifully, all in harmony and in tune, with tears running down to their chins. Their singing was loud, and it roamed through the entire village.

"🎼🎼We are to be braaaave for our parents, theyyy are going to be freee! Weeee will be strong for our parents…mommy and daddy be freee!🎼🎼

They kept singing more beautiful lyrics, and all the villagers were slowing down.

Duri and Ryu were fighting down below while hearing the music. Ryu punched Duri in the face twice causing explosive blows, knocking Duri inside of another village house. Inside of that house, Ryu threw another punch and kick, but Duri ducked and headbutted Ryu up the chin, grabbed the top of his head, jumped backwards, and they bashed out of the house.

They fell into another house, and Ryu punched Duri in the stomach with an explosive blow.

Duri crashed through multiple walls, and Ryu flashed behind him with his hands cuffed together. Ryu smashed his cuffed fists on Duri's fists, and Duri fell into another house.

Ryu fell in that house, and he tried to attack Duri again with multiple kicks and invisible explosions.

Duri dodged all of them, he was even able to see the incoming invisible explosions.

Ryu said, "Oh? You've managed to predict my explosions.."

Duri replied, "You're explosions always aim towards the front, and I have to constantly try and sense your power so I can sense the invisible explosions coming, because the power sense rises on its arrival."

"Perspective I see."

Ryu punched Duri in the nose, and Duri punched Ryu back. Duri was making shadow fists come out of his chest, and he and the fists were punching Ryu all over the place. Duri raised his hand, and a shadow snake came out, grabbed Ryu on the side, and started dragging him up to the sky.

Duri leaped up high into the air, and slammed his elbows on Ryu's face over and over, knocking blood everywhere.

Duri then double punched Ryu in the face, sending him down.

Duri was flying after him, and he was trying to take off his headband.

Ryu turned upward, and his fist was big and charging up.

Ryu said, "The way you're attacking…is reeeeallly annoying me."

Ryu hit Duri in the stomach with that fist and smashed him downward into another big village house.

Duri rolled over and over inside there, but he sat up on all fours, getting down on the floor like he was a spider with his legs and arms extended. Duri's body was still in the shadow form, but half of Duri's face and head wasn't in its shadow form, exploding half the wounds on his face and his hair, while the other half was still in shadow form.

Ryu was walking in front of Duri, hearing the singing from the girls.

Ryu said, "Ugh. What is that disgusting singing?"

Duri replied, "Oi.."

"Hm?"

"Shut up.."

Duri took off his headband, as blood dripped from the side of his mouth.
