65 Chapter 65 : A Classic Reunion
Minutes later, Kin was walking in the middle of the street, grinning.
People looked at her, saying:
"Who is she..?"
"She's covered in blood.."
"Her smile is creepy.."
"Look at her eyes, they're scary."
Kin looked at them, and they gasped in fear. They felt the tension coming from her intense stare.
Kin said to them, "Do you think I am pretty?"
They replied immediately:
"Yes!"
"Yeah!"
"Absolutely stunning!"
Kin replied, "You are all so nice to me. Thank you."
Kin continued to walk down the street, thinking, 'Ren-Ren agreed to our terms. That's my first soldier from earth under my command. Must find more and avoid the seven strongest Hosts.'
[In a business office]
[In the tallest floor]
[Osaka Japan]
A man by the name of Brye was sitting in a chair at his desk smoking a cigar, while his secretary was walking in there. Brye had grayish white hair, a white eye patch, and a white beard.
Brye asked the secretary woman, "Does the coffee machine need to be refilled again?"
"Y-yes sir."
"Well then go do it. I can't start my morning off without coffee."
"Yo-yokai. Also, um, the CEO is coming by today for a meeting."
"I do not care. Go make my coffee please."
"Ye-yes sir."
Downstairs on the bottom floor, Kin was walking through the door with a grin.
The security guards and other office people in there just looked at her intensely.
Kin smiled, "I could've teleported to the first floor to see my friend, but I wanted to see what he's done with the place. I remember when it was half empty a few years ago, and now it's filled. Congratulations to him."
One of the security guards said to the other guard:
"Does something seem a little…OFF about that woman?"
"Yeah. And she looked familiar."
Kin heard them, and was smiling, "Oh? I look familiar?"
"Ma'am..what's your business here?"
"What seems to be the matter?"
"You're covered in blood, walking in here with no shoes on."
"I can't do that? Is it not allowed?"
"We're gonna have to ask you to leave."
"Leave? But I just got here."
The guard walked up to her, but the other guard was trying to stop him, whispering, "No..don't.."
The guard got up close to Kin, and said, "Ma'am, if you do not leave, we are going to have to escort you out."
"Why would I leave?"
The guard grabbed Kin's arm, and Kin's smile turned into a scary straight face.
Kin looked right into the guards eyes, and said, "Don't touch me."
The guard's body exploded, with the rest of his body bashing through the walls. The workers in there began to scream, but the guards were ready. They pulled out automatic rifles, and began to shoot at Kin.
But in that moment, as soon as one bullet was released from each gun, the bullet turned itself around and hit the guards through the head, putting holes in their heads and making them crash through walls.
Kin said, "Ah. I still remember when the ones without power had to use earth weapons. Disgusting."
Kin looked up, and she said, "I see you…old friend."
Up in Brye's office, Brye was pressing on the intercom at his desk trying to reach someone on the first floor, saying, "Hello?! What's going on down there?! Someone answer me, dammit!"
Kin's voice got on the intercom, and she said, "Hiii old friend."
Brye responded, "That voice.."
"You recognize it, right? It's me, Kin."
"Ex Host Kin..I thought you died in the void prison."
"No. No way. They just let me out because of good behavior, I think I've been a good girl," Kin told an obvious lie.
Brye asked her, "What..did you do? What happened?"
Kin blasted through the floor of Brye's office, floating there and looking at him.
Kin floated softly on the floor, and said, "I bumped my head on the way here. Oops…I kinda ruined your floor. You don't mind, do you? Since we're best friends and all."
"What are you doing here?"
"Hm? Why are you treating me like that?" Kin asked sadly.
"Don't bullshit me.."
Kin said with a straight face and menacing gesture with her creepy and sinister eyes, "Do you want to die?"
Brye's female secretary was running behind Kin, holding a 12 foot mallet.
The secretary jumped up after she built momentum, and tried to slam the mallet on Kin.
Kin grabbed the mallet without looking.
The secretary gasped, letting go of the mallet, and jumping away from Kin.
'This should kill this crazy lady..'
The mallet exploded right on Kin, blowing dust and wind everywhere.
Brye asked the secretary, "What have you done?"
"Saved your life! That's what I've done!"
"That mediocre attack is not enough to kill someone like Kin!"
Kin was walking forward from the smoke, and her yellow eyes were definitely noticeable within them.
Kin said with a grin, "That was a cool trick. Very subtle."
She looked dead at the secretary and Brye, putting fear in their hearts, making them sweat.
The secretary made another 12 foot mallet, and she ran forward, throwing it at Kin..
Brye yelled, "No! Idiot!"
The mallet was spiraling towards Kin, and when Kin tried to touch it again, the mallet turned into smoke, withering away.
Kin thought, 'It's gone now?'
Behind Kin, the mallet that turned into smoke was reforming back into a regular mallet, and the secretary was holding it.
The secretary was about to take a hard swing, but Kin was behind her.
Kin had her head tilted to the left a little, giving a smug grin again. Kin had one finger on the back of the secretary's head, and Kin said, "I like your fire. Very nice, very nice. Hehe..hehe…"
Kin continued with a horrific straight face, "But it wasn't hot enough."
The secretary's head broke all the way around, and her body blasted all the way out of the building, crashing through multiple buildings on the outside.
Brye twitched, "Kin!!!! Why?!"
Smoke began to come from Brye's nose and mouth, filling up the entire room.
Brye asked Kin, "Why?!"
'My smoke ability should slow her down. She should be seeing illusions of her past..and mostly..the smoke should weaken her immune system and destroy her internal organs at a fast rate.'
Brye asked Kin, "Why did you do all of this?! Wh-!"
Brye felt a hand slowly wrapping around his neck, and it was Kins' hand.
Kin was choking Brye, staring into his soul, scaring him even more.
Kin blew into the air one time, and all of the smoke went away.
Brye said, "Expected.."
Kin explained to Brye, "You asked..why? I told you I will need your help one day."
"Not like this! Destroying my place of business! I told you I was running a company!"
"I do not care about your companies, Brye. I care about me, and my goals."
"I thought..I thought you were one of the good guys. You were a HOST! Then on that day with the battle of Reborn, you turned on us. What do you want, Kin?!"
"I'm gathering my old friends and new friends to help me capture the Seven strongest Hosts."
"Was that what Harvest..wants you to do?"
"I was born with Harvest, from the Harvest realm. But I am no longer with them. I wanted to use them for the same reasons I want to use the Hosts. The place where I'm from…the place I grew up in..I was kicked out of it..because I did not fit in with them."
"What?"
"In the Diamond realm…people had kingdoms and armies and fortune on their own, and they can take their kingdoms anywhere with them, to any realm, including earth. But the only way anyone would have their own kingdom, is to have diamonds. And not just any diamonds, but diamonds made out of strong power users. I wanted to craft the Centurions of Harvest and the Hosts of Earth into diamonds, so I can have my own kingdom. The diamonds within the Diamond realm is fuel to the users kingdom, so if I have strong people turned into diamonds, it will fuel and harvest my kingdom into the biggest kingdom in the Diamond realm. The stronger the diamonds..the stronger the power users in the diamonds…the bigger and stronger the kingdom..MY kingdom.."
"Why?!"
"Geez, you ask so many fucking questions, Brye. The diamond realm is all about fortune, riches, and independence. If you do not have elegance, you get thrown out. I want to go there to be next to my sister. We made a promise to never leave each other, we made a promise to always be together and be Queens. To lead and to command our own people. I want to be a Queens, Brye. Our parents told me and my sister…we deserve to be Queens-deserve to be treated like Queens. Our parents..were kingdom holders in the Diamond realm, until they died of sickness."
"You're…the one's that's fucking sick!"
"I am going around to all of my friends that I've met before the Reborn attack, and I will ask for their help. It doesn't take much to subdue the Hosts. Oh, and I've found a kid named Ren-Ren who's on my side now. He's so adorable and mean. I love it."
"They won't help you! Your old friends…once you tell them your true goals and reasonings..they won't..HELP YOU! What? Gonna cry? I bet you got close to the Hosts and the Centurions just to make it easier for you to turn them into Diamonds-."
"You are correct, but I wasn't expecting Reborn to arrive so soon, which ruined my plans. Now enough time has been wasted..will you help me…or die?"
Brye made smoke come out of his eyes and ears and mouth and nose, fogging the area again.
Brye had jumped out of Kin's grasp, not knowing that Kin let him go on purpose.
Brye jumped out of the large window behind him, and he was falling down to the ground, with his chest facing the window he just jumped out of.
Kin was flying down towards him, and asked Brye, "I remember..you had a family..right Brye?"
Brye answered, "If you..go ANYWHERE NEAR MY FAMILY..!"
"I got your scent. Since I have Your scent, I know all the places you've been where your scent rests. The first place I got..is your home..and your family is there.
"Wait! Wait! I'll join you! I'll help you! I'll-!"
Kin was in his face, staring into his soul with tears in her eyes.
Kin said, "You don't mean it..no..no..you don't. I will..be a Queen. I am a Queen."
"Kin!!!"
Kin punched Brye in the face hard, and Brye's head was flattened, and his body blasted down to the ground faster than the speed of light, and once he made contact with the ground, the ground exploded, and parts of the ground and road and sidewalks were rising up and blowing all over the place, and some buildings crashed down.
Kin was used 10% of her punching power to kill Brye.
Dust was all over the place, and there were cars on fire and turned over all over the place, and there were dead civilian bodies laying on the ground admist all the destruction and rubble.
Kin was standing in the middle of it, and she looked around, grinning. She looked to the right, and she saw a radio sitting on the ground near a store.
Kin stared at it, and the radio cut on by itself, and it started playing classical musical.
Kin said, "Nice song. Lovely song. A fitting song..for a queen."
There were Hosts dashing at Kin, saying to each other:
"That's Kin!"
"Call the seven! We need the seven strongest Hosts now!"
"Shut up! We can't call ourselves Hosts and defenders of this world if we always have to be saved! We're gonna killed this sicko bitch traitor!"
Kin was walking through the destruction she caused, and she was smiling as she was dancing smoothly and perfectly like a ballerina.
She was doing an actual good job, getting the dances done right and everything. And she was humming along with the classical music.
The Hosts said to each other:
"She's dancing!"
"Don't be fooled! She's unpredictable and super strong! Hit her with all you got! Access the maximum of your power levels!"
They were getting close, giving out a battle cry.
Immediately, buildings from the side flew up to the Hosts, and squished them together, killing them. The building was glowing red, and then it exploded.
Some of the Hosts blood got on Kin's face, but she didn't care. She continued to dance and hum as her force of energy was causing more destruction.
Kin said, "I am a queen.."
[Brye's house]
(7 minutes later)
Brye's wife and kids (A boy and a girl) were in the living room playing, as their dog was chasing its own tail.
Kin was standing outside of the house, staring into the window, slightly smirking.
One of the children looked out of the window, and they saw Kin standing out there.
The kid asked the mom, "Mommy, is that your friend? She looks scary."
"Haha, um? What do you mean?"
The mom and daughter and son looked out the window, and they saw Kin floating in the air outside, with her eyes glowing yellow.
[Saitama, Japan]
At a hot dog truck]
Duri was standing near the hotdog stand, eating a hot dog with chili and ketchup only.
The owner of the hot dog truck was heavy set with brown eyes and a little bit of hair on the side of his head, but the top was bald.
Duri said, "Damn these are so good."
The owner replied, "You say that every time you come here. They must really be good if that's the case. But business is kinda slow. Ever since the Harvest rampages, business has just been declining over and over."
"Hm? Wasn't this hot dog dump suffering even before all these rampages?"
"It got worse since the rampages, like I mentioned. I built this stand with the money I had left, I don't want to work for anyone, I just want to work for myself."
"Boring. Take a crack at being the strongest being to ever live. I'll accept being your rival."
"Haha! You're so young, with big dreams and ambitions."
"Sure, pal."
Duri finished the hotdog, and said, "Shit. Now I feel bad. We'll get your business back in play."
"How?"
"First, you need to move locations. We're in a place where no one barely comes around. We need to go to a heavily populated place."
"I guess.."
Minutes passed, Duri and the owner were standing near a mall strip, with the hotdog truck sitting there.
The owner asked Duri, "Now what?"
"This happens."
People started to see Duri, noticing him instantly.
"Hey it's Duri!"
"Duri's over there!"
"Can I get a picture?!"
Dozens upon dozens of people were making their way over to Duri, even cars had to stop in the middle of the road.
The owner says, "So many people.."
Duri jumped swiftly on top of the food truck, looking down at the 50+ people that were approaching the food stand.
Duri said to everyone, "Listen up! Listen! I'll take pictures with everyone, I'll follow you on Bloggerz or whatever, but in exchange…you will all spend your money and buy hotdogs from this stand!"
In a frenzy, people were immediately pulling out money, and handing it to the owner.
The owner was taking many many orders, hurrying to cook them all.
Duri was taking pictures with many people, and he wasn't smiling in any of them. Instead, he would stick up both middle fingers.
Girls his age would kiss him on the cheek, posing for the pictures.
The owner was dishing out many hot dog combinations to everyone, and people loved them.
"It's good!"
"No wonder Duri recommended this to us!"
"I'm buying another one!"
Duri looked at the business booming, and he smirked, "Hmph. Looks good."
After a few more minutes, Duri got a text from Marshy.
Duri pulled his phone out, and the text read: "Hey Duri. I won't be back tonight. Or tomorrow. The void prisons have been destroyed and the inmates are all out. The Hosts are looking for the inmates, while me and some of the seven strongest Hosts are gonna investigate the void prison. Be careful Duri. I love your brat ass, see ya in two days."
Duri put the phone away, thinking, 'The void prisons? Wait..during the exams..we fought two people from there..'
Duri began to have flashbacks of the exam villains Onyx and Arsenal.
People asked Duri, "Hey, are you okay?"
Duri answered, "Don't worry about me, I'm alright."
(20 minutes later)
The area cleared out, and the owner was laying on the ground, sweating and trying to catch his breath.
"That..was so..fun! I miss days like that! Thank you, Duri."
Duri responded, "I basically slutted myself out for this hot dog truck. I deserve some compensation."
"W-well, I made quite a few bucks…I can give you-."
Duri plopped a wad of money on the owner's stomach, and started walking away.
The owner immediately sat up, and counted how much it was. It was a lot of money.
He asked Duri, "Oi! What is this?! I can't take this!"
"Don't care. Take it. It's the money I won from the tournaments I won last night."
"But it's money!"
"It's ONLY money. Take it or I'll murderize you if you don't. Marshy always randomly gives me a bunch of allowance money anyway from me just being her son. Don't be stupid with that money either. Oh, and I've posted your business on my Bloggerz account. Expect your business to be like it was today, everyday. See ya soon, old man."
"D-Duri.."
The owner shed a small tear, and yelled again to Duri, "Thank you!"
Duri responded, "Stop saying thank you! It's annoying!"
"Sorry! Sorry!"
Duri continued to walk on the sidewalk, and he pulled out his phone again. He went through his Bloggerz account, and he saw Kazuma and Shiryu had competed in a 2v2 tournament as well. It showed videos of them beating the hell out of their opponents, with Kazuma using his fire, and Shiryu copying his opponents moves to beat them. They had made it to the final round, but they lost. Kazuma still had a smile on his face, and Shiryu looked hungry and tired.
Duri thinks, 'Kazuma and Shiryu are pretty strong. Ever since I've seen them fight at the exams, I've always had the thought that they were kinda deadly.'
..
Suddenly, Kin had walked past Duri on the sidewalk.
Duri felt a sinister presence, and he turned around.
Kin stopped walking, she was just standing there, with her back turned to Duri.
Duri stared at her, and Kin said, "Duri. Son of Host Marshy. You..are a hybrid Titan. You are a very powerful being. You will be my greatest enemy, and my greatest obstacle. Avoid me at all costs. You have been warned."
Duri answered, "The hell.."
Kin vanished, and Duri looked confused.
Kin thinks, 'In my current condition, fighting that hybrid Titan boy is a bad idea. I need food and water to refurbish my energy. Then my mission continues.'
Duri was really confused, so he just walked away, and started calling Seven.
..
[7 hours later]
[A park]
Duri was walking onto the park, and to the right of him, Tek was walking up there, and they made eye contact.
Sitting on the swings at the park, was Seven.
Duri and Tek approached her, and Duri suggested, "Be honest Seven. You wanna leave Saitama and go to Okinawa just so you can get away from your parents."
Seven answered, "So you understand my pain. Great. Yeah, that's another reason why I wanna go to Okinawa. Funny you decided to come all of a sudden."
"Marshy has to investigate the void prisons..it's been destroyed."
Tek asked, "Destroyed? That means.."
Seven finished his sentence, "The inmates broke out. My parents were called to investigate it too."
Duri asks, "Why them? Aren't they retired or something?"
"Yeah. But they helped build the void prison. They're involved in this too. I bet they'll figure this out pretty quick. Now it's time to get the hell outta here."
Seven pulled out a piece of animal fur, and Tek asked, "What are you doing with cat fur?"
"It's a way to get to Okinawa faster. The one who invited us, is a cat."
Tek and Duri said at the same time, "He's a cat?!"
"Yes. A cat. Now I'll you'll excuse me..shush."
Seven held the fur up halfway, closed her eyes, and said, "Find Roga.."
The fur started to grow purple, and Seven, Duri, and Tek glowed purple.
Instantly, all three of them were standing in the middle of a village, a village in Okinawa.
The village was pretty busy, with people setting up for some sort of festival. There were stick houses and tall grass all over the place with a temple. And there were small ponds around.
Duri said, "Did we…come at a bad time?"
Tek responded, "Looks like they're setting up for some sort of party.."
Seven said, "We came at a great time. And yeah, they're setting up for their 70th annual Heiwa festival. 70 years ago there was a battle between this village and another village, until they came to an agreement. Peace. The people from the other village come over for this festival, and celebrate their friendship."
Duri asked, "What the hell were they fighting for?"
"Goods. Certain people from each village would go to the other village just to steal resources."
Tek implied, "So they just came together out of nowhere? Just like that?"
"Just like that."
Duri stepped forward, and he stepped on something.
"AHHHHHHOWWWWW!!! GET YOUR BIG FOOT OFF ME!"
Duri looked down, and saw he was stepping on a black and gold cat.
Duri tilted his head, "Whose feet yer calling big?!"
Duri stepped on the cat some more, and Seven moved Duri away, saying, "Duri! No! That's Roga!"
"No! That's NOT Roga! He's about to be a dead cat!"
Tek said, "Hmph. Duri is an aninal abuser."
Duri said to Tek, "I'm not! Chain bastard!"
The cat Roga turned around to them, saying, "Your very lucky you're Seven's boyfriend, or else I would scratch you to pieces."
Duri and Seven blushed, saying at the same time, "What?! What are you talking about?!"
"ANYWAYS, welcome to Okinawa. You three certainly came to get material for your costumes at the right time."
Suddenly, another boy was approaching them. He had peach skin, ash light whitish blonde hair that was faded in an undercut, and he had an earring and grey eyes. His name was Ryu.
Ryu said, "Roga! I got the tables set!"
Ryu and Seven looked at each other.
Seven said, "Ryu..?"
Ryu replied, "Seven..?"
Duri asked, "Who's Ryu?"
Seven replied, "...Some random boy."
Ryu said, "Me and Seven used to date."
Seven scoffed, "Only for a week. And all we did was hug once."
"That hug meant alot to me."
"Doesn't matter. You cheated on me. And you're the reason why my parents are so paranoid of me going anywhere or hanging out with anyone."
"Come on, can we let bygones be bygones?"
"Fuck that. Duri, Tek, stay with me. Roga, show us around will ya?"
Roga laughed, "Haha, of course. Right this way."
Tek asked Roga, "Do you need our help for anything?"
Roga answered, "Not at the moment, no. I've heard about you boys, Tek and Duri. Prodigies. You two are very strong, maybe even stronger than me combined. Maybe I'll need your help lifting a few things."
"Understood."
Duri scoffed, "Oi! Why ya volunteering me to community service?!"
Tek said to Duri, "Be silent, fool."
Watching them walk away, Ryu was standing there, and his friends were walking up him.
