Chapter 13: Ripple dimension zone

max looked at how shy and cute she now was and started laughing, with a smirk on his face he asked her " if you didn't feel good why did you keep shaking your hips and yelling, master fuc".

before he could finish a small hand sealed his mouth.

" master don't tease your rika " the maid spoke cutely.

rika bobbed her head up and down too shy to say anymore.

max just hugged her tighter, this was the first woman in his life to ever consider themselves as his.

after a while max asked rika about how he can get stronger faster. he still wasn't sure exactly what they meant by ways of clan succession but he figured it wouldn't be bad if he was stronger by the time it arrived.

whatever it was he could not risk losing his chance to gain a reputation and a place where he could build his own force, by being too weak when the opportunity presented itself.

rika told him that if he wanted to get stronger faster the best way was by exploring a ripple dimension.

ripple dimensions were treasured lands birthed by the spark wave, as the wave rolled past the earth changing the very fabrics of reality.

ripples appeared and some of this ripples had a higher concentration of Phanes energy and this high concentration of energy gave birth to treasured lands.

Rika explained that the way the spark of Phanes worked was by manifesting human desires.

the imagination, dreams, thoughts that were believed or desired by a large amount of the population was manifested into reality.

This is why things like abilities appeared, because a large amount of people wished and desired to have them, and influenced by works of fiction and web novels of cultivation and martial arts.

many people subconsciously desired for pocket dimensions like in the stories they read, filled with opportunities for wealth, greatness and danger. Rika told max that this is the widely accepted theory of how exactly the spark of Phanes worked but no-one was one hundred percent sure.

The ripple dimension were very dangerous, max learned that after the kingdom of Lu was just formed there were 6 great clans.

however after a series of events this changed.

before the Zhao clan was a great clan

the third head of Zhao clan which was only a small family at the time, ventured into a ripple dimension door that had not fully explored. the man lead only 9 other family members with him and into the unknown they ventured in search of treasures and wealth.

No one knows what they experienced or what they saw but when they returned only the head and 3 others returned. The 4 men were broken, covered in blood, all missing arms or legs. the 4 men returned to the Zhao family and called for a family assembly, in this assembly the 4 mysterious treasures were passed on and the rule of 4 was enacted.

the rule of 4 was enacted on in that very assembly this rule meant that the 4 treasures would be passed from generation to generation and that no one outside the family would know what these treasures were, or how they worked.

The rule of 4 also stated that all members should ensure that the 4 treasures would never fall into the hands of anyone outside the family, if they ever did whoever got them would be the Zhao family and it's ally´s eternal enemy and they would not rest till the treasures were reclaimed. It is said that the Zhao family follow the rule of 4 so much that there would try to eliminate anyone who looked into what the treasures were too much and would not ally with anyone unless they agree to abide by the rule of 4.

after that assembly the 4 men could no longer bear to be alive they were too traumatized by whatever they saw, they killed themselves, buried with them whatever they witnessed. after this the Zhao family rose and became stronger and prominent, suddenly they had 4 noble class members, and with this they changed from a small family to a great clan in a short time.

the sudden rise to greatness of the Zhao clan started a craze in the kingdom of Lu, everyone knew that ripple dimensions were dangerous but the rewards were too great. many clans wanted to be the next Zhao clan, ambitious men thought their chance had come.

5 clans and many minor clans and small families all gathered together and on a sunny day they all rushed to greatness to wealth.

It was tragic, 3 great clans were wiped out, little to no one returned.

the imagined greatness never came, all that lay in their wake was death.

that day is still spoken about as the day death called.

Rika knows little about it like most of the people in the kingdom of Lu, the event wiped 2 great clans permanently, many powerful men who returned were crippled and no one has dared to speak much about what they saw or even speak about when they ventured into the door leading to that area of the ripple dimension. Since the day death called that door was known as the forbidden door of death.

as rika spoke about the rise of the Zhao clan and the fall of 3 great clans in the same area of the ripple dimension max understood truly what danger and greatness meant.

still max didn't know what awaited him but he knew that the ripple dimension was is only chance. he had to go,

changed my method of updating. will upload 2 slightly shorter chapters in a day, im trying to get my novel out to as many people as possible. altogether it will be longer than when i updated just 1 chapter. so don't cry im not being lazy just trying new strategies
