Chapter 9

Colin and Lily stand at the top of the mall watching the children finally have enough leg room to not feel like their caged in.

Bella joins them happy that the blue mist does most of the healing hard work now, the elderly are in healthy hands with the healing candles and always in the bunker.

The mall used to have 2 gyms, so there are two rooms with showers, the men are in the 3rd floor.

The women are in the ground floor, and the children are in the second floor, they have toilets close by, but if they want to shower they must go either a floor up or a floor down.

Colin put the children under a training exercise, they must feed themselves and everyone else to simulate the pressure of being in charge and the dangers of the people you live with.

"I here Luna and Toya are setting a dinner table at the parking lot as we speak. Mira said in 3 days 2 members will be brought here and in the future they will save everyone's lives, she warns of a time when the infected will not be our only enemies. Houses with food and supplies will be depleted and people will start attacking camps. We're in trouble now." Lily says.

Brandon shakes his head holding a pack of cigarettes, "We all saw that coming." He lights it and inhales the smoke, "Luna added healing essence to this, somehow its properties changed and inside there is gas, the rubber is now glass like, incredible." He complements.

Colin takes one and observes the kido's setting a table, there are chairs and delicious looking food on the table.

"Do my eyes deceive me, or do I see meat on that table?" Kevin asks.

"Yes it is, and OH, there's the signal food is ready." Colin says excited running down the stairs like a child

Lily smiles, "Food looks so delicious, how great." She runs down before the men finish all the food.
