30 Chapter 29: Trap PT 1

"Roberto what do you think has happened?" For some days I have been having strange feelings concerning Jazlyn and I am really worried something terrible has happened.

"Nothing my dearest love, but we need to leave the country tomorrow for the safety of our son."

"No, we can't leave. Jazlyn is right here, she is our child." I complained. How could he think like that Jazlyn is our child our baby girl.

"I know Gwen and I don't intend to leave her behind with anyone but please you must trust me she is in good hands and safe." The audacity.

"How are you sure about that? You cannot leave our baby girl with some strangers and expect me to be okay with it while we move to another country." I was very upset, no very mad at Roberto, how could he think like that, we were a perfect family even before I got pregnant, why is this happening, why is he changing.

'Or does he have a mistress? Some who warms his bed because I have become fat and ugly? No, it's not possible I refuse to accept... or could it be true?' I went through possibilities why Roberto was insisting we leave Spain when we only got here some months ago.

"Gwen is everything okay you seem lost."

Should I tell him or ask him, no I won't I don't want such thing to breach our relationship.

"It's nothing, I am fine."

I heard him sigh and he moved to where I was and knelt down. "Baby I know how much Roxy Jayn is to you and me and I will never in my life suggest we drop her because we both have a child of our own, no way."

"They why now? Why did you decide now."

He breathe out and looked me in the eye, his bright blue eyes shining in the broad daylight, which also brings spirals of glitters at the corner.

"I never said I was leaving Jazlyn, remember you, Jazlyn and our son will always be the bigger part of my life and I can't afford to lose any of you." His words warmed my heart but I still felt insecurities, maybe I have increased weight or did he do something illegal.

"Stop your random thinking I am going no where and we are not running from the authorites either, let your mind be at peace." He kissed my forehead and sat beside me.

"I wasn't thinking of anything." I defended myself.

"Baby let's pack up we leave tomorrow morning. We are taking the first flight."

"To where?"

"I'll tell you later, it's not something I can say here."

"Tell me why do you think my Jazlyn is safe with that stranger Shawn."

"He is no stranger."

"What do you mean?"

"Wait I'll explain later let me pack."

There is something fishy with us leaving and Jazlyn staying with the stranger. Roberto is strange and he refused to tell me why, now I think do I trust him?

Jazlyn. p.o.v

I was dead wrong, this journey way longer than the first time. We walked and walked and walked, until my legs got really worn out. Genevieve has really worn me out, the others don't look so tired, why am I the only one looking like I wanted to die?

"My-my- I feel like I'm going to faint." I staggered on my feet as I tried to walk. I knew it they brought me here to kill me

"This is kidnapping, taking me hostage, and forcing me to climb to my death in this forbidden place is brutal and inhuman!" I screamed at them, I really didn't care if we were gathering a bunch of goddamn creatures I just want to go home.

"Stop over exaggerating we are only a few miles from the forest we left." Cody spoke in annoyance.

"Really, you have been the one doing all the complaining since we started this journey." Max added and I snapped my head at him.

"So did Aimee, why aren't you also blaming her." I complained.

"Because I learnt to keep my mouth shut when I started getting ignored." Aimee let out a tired breath and slowed down her pace.

Cody pointed to Aimee to prove his point.

"Finally. we're here." Genevieve announced. Max, Cody and Shawn all smiled like they used to do in movies when someone finally founds the secret treasure and they are going to goddamn share it, I think I might be going insane because of these freaks, but guess what there is no freaking treasure here it just boring decorated mountains and stupid deserts!

"You've been saying that for the past eight hours and I am sick of it."

"She is not joking this time, we are actually here at mount krinshing." Cody supported Genevieve's statement.

"Oh please let me be. I wouldn't believe that until I see a proof." I insisted.

All that surrounded us were few mountains and green dull pastures, this is really a weird unnatural place to be.

"This mount krinshing as they called it was located amongst the mountains but to access the right mountain was what Genevieve did just now.

"Look, you said only those who knew the way can tell how to get here and shit but why can't you even do any of that, I thought you were the smart one?" I was really getting mad at her, infact I was mad at everyone, we all just followed her like stupid pets.

"Yes, I did say I know how to get here and how the mountain looks like but I never claimed to know how to get in."

Her reply angered me the more, why the hell am I getting mad so often? "So we're are all stupid for following and stupid for not discovering how to open a stupid secret door on a mountain which do not exist."

"A secret door." Genevive muttered. "That's it, we were thinking the wrong way, the code krinshing should relate with a magical word which-"

"Is like a casting?" Aimee concluded.

"Yeah something like that. Aimee you're a genius." Genevieve praised and I scoffed.

"Wait, I don't get how do you have knowledge of those kinds of stuffs?" I asked Aimee.

"Small knowledge stealing from my great grand ma history books and a little education from my side."

"So you're from some witchy family?"

"No, we just study some history stuff, not me actually I kinda did the stealing."

"Your family's weird." Cody spoke.

"Like your isn't" Max added.

"Please tell me who called you here?" Cody asked Max contouring his face in anger.

"Why are you acting like a girl? Man up" Max raised an eyebrow at Cody.

"You too, you know what I am so tired of your sassy boring attitude you are so rude."

"What make you then, a pointless coward." Max snapped.

"Woah easy folks, I am the one to do the mad attitude not you, so shut up and fix this shit up!"

"I got to say I agree with the short one."

"We keep our fight in the dungeon and kill each other later. Agreed?"

"Agreed." Cody replied.

"Who are you calling short one?" I asked Max.

"You said we should fix things so if you want to get out of this mess you better cope with us." He said giving me no chance to let out my anger. Then who was I going to be angry with? I remained quiet and let them figure out the plan on getting the secret door opened.
