Poseidon's Heir: A Battle for the Seas

Gravill's origin has always shrouded in mystery, a puzzle he struggles to piece together. His father's departure before his birth left him under the sole care of his mother, who raised him in solitude, and remarried later. His mother, despite moving on and marrying his stepfather, never forgot about Poseidon his father and always held onto the hope that they would meet again. Bullied and ostracized at school, unaware of his divine lineage, Gravill's life takes a dramatic turn when he discovers his father is none other than Poseidon, the mighty god of the sea. Born as a demigod, a forbidden offspring of a god and mortal, Gravill's existence defies the laws of Olympus and plunges him into a world of uncertainty and danger. His journey as a half-blood begins, fraught with challenges and revelations that will test his mettle and reshape his destiny.

After Gravill and Nicholas parted ways, Gravill was humming a tune and swinging his backpack when suddenly the sky changed and the wind whistled. Out of thin air, a human figure emerged - it was the blonde man from his dream.

"You...you," Gravill stammered.

"Yes, we finally meet, or should I say, we meet again," the blonde man said, laughing hysterically.

"How did you find me?" Gravill asked in amazement.

"It's none of your business. I was sent by someone who wants your life by all means," he replied.

"Who and why?" Gravill asked with a perplexed look.

"Like I said, it's none of your business," Cadmus replied.

Without further ado, Cadmus opened his mouth, which expanded to swallow up Gravill. Meanwhile, passersby looked at Gravill strangely as he stood motionless on the pathway.

Gravill noticed the group of people passing by staring strangely at him.

On the other hand, the passersby could not see Cadmus; all they saw was Gravill standing on the pathway, staring straight ahead with unfocused eyes.

"They cannot see me," Cadmus stated.

"You mean they cannot see all of this?" Gravill was flabbergasted.

"We are in another realm. Prepare to die," Cadmus said, about to attack Gravill, but he suddenly disappeared.

When Gravill opened his eyes, he realized Cadmus was gone. The sky that was once gloomy and cloudy was now bright and clear.

He thought Cadmus was just a dream or fiction from his sleep, but he couldn't shake the feeling that it could manifest in real life and haunt him. Confused by everything that happened, he needed answers but had no one to confide in.

He continued his journey back home, pondering on the events that transpired. He wanted to know why Cadmus called him a half-blood and what it meant. He also wondered why Cadmus disappeared and how he manifested in real life.

All these questions swirled in his mind, with no one to help him make sense of it all. He wanted to yell at the sky and scream out his frustration, but he feared being taken to a police station or a psychiatrist for help.

Upon arriving home, he saw his dad comfortably watching TV on the sofa. He always found it amusing how his father could sit at home while his mother worked hard for their family. He couldn't understand what his mother saw in his father, who he saw as a joke of a life.
