One small step at a time

"Huh, weird." Henry mumbled as he looked straight into Jane's eyes.

"What happened?" She asked.

"Well, your eyes seem dead tired. Like, dead ass tired. I don't get it. Aren't you usually full of energy after a Sunday?" He asked back.

"Ah, that's it, huh? Here's the thing, okay? There's a construction work going on near the apartment. So, we couldn't sleep one bit." She replied.

"Oh, for real? Had I known that, I would've made my way over there." Henry sighed.

"Nah, then you would have had your head messed up as well. The noise was unbearable for quite a lot of time." Jane spoke.

"Oh, I see that you've all had a tough time." Henry replied.

"Nah, not really. We expected ourselves to have a really hard time, but we spent our time playing UNO, so it was fine." Sam jumped in and spoke.

"I guess it's nice that all of you had fun then!" Henry smiled as he said that.
