2 Years Gone By Part-1!

After weighing the pros and cons of each world, he concluded that he wanted to go to the Pokemon world. Amongst all of the worlds here, he knew the most about Pokemon. Despite him knowing so much about this place, Roy knew it would be dangerous.

"I choose Pokemon, it's my best option here." Roy looked up at Emoji-head and said firmly.

"Good, this will make things easier on you." Emoji-head stood up and walked in front of Roy. This stunned Roy because this Smiley Emoji-headed guy was really tall. He must be standing around 7 foot something, or perhaps even taller!

"There are more people coming in who need to be sent on their way, so I'll explain everything to you as fast and as best as I can. To prove that you can complete missions and become a Dimensional Sovereign, you will be given a special system called the [Quest System]."

Roy was stunned, it was the legendary system he had read in many novels!

"This system doesn't have a store, nor will it guide you through your journey. It will simply hand out the Quest you should complete. However, these Quests will rarely appear, so do them if you can to earn your reputation—the system won't force you. For each region you explore, you will always be given 5 Main Quest like those video games you play that have storylines."

Roy took note of all of this and made sure to remember everything.

"Of course, with each completed Quest, you will be rewarded. This is especially so if you can complete the Main Quest, they will reward you handsomely."

Roy didn't complain, though, it would have been really amazing to get a system where he purchases pokemon. However, that wouldn't make his adventure across the several regions as interesting.

It was better to catch with his own strength and fateful encounter.

"Now, you can tell me what features you wish to take on for your new life. You will be born according to what you tell me in detail, so speak wisely, please. I'm sure you wouldn't want to be born ugly or have a disability in this world."

"Oh, okay." This was an interesting turn of events, he could actually set his own appearance. Roy thought for a moment before concluding how he wanted to look.

"I want black hair, a nice appearance, purple eyes, to be healthy of course, and a well-off family...." Roy quickly described what he wanted in just a minute.

"Okay, so I'll repeat what you said for verification." Emoji-head proceeded to repeat everything Roy stated.

"Right, that's what I want." Roy and confirmed.

"Perfect! For further explanation, the Pokemon world you'll be entering is an alternate world. There will be some changes and surprises on your way, this world isn't such a happy go-mary place like your games, it's far darker than you think."

"I understand, I will be careful. Also, will there be, you know, Mega Evolution?" Roy was curious and asked.

"There will be." Emoji-head nodded and changed the subject, "Also, the Quest System will not activate until your journey officially starts. Now, before I sent you off, I need to give you a basic ability." Emoji-head pointed at Roy's head and a beam of energy penetrated his forehead.

Roy felt no pain, but instead warmth.

"Heaven's Eyes?" Suddenly, information about these eyes was revealed. Roy smiled in delight, this was a really useful ability for judging pokemon and people. He could practically see stats and he could also see the Aura on a pokemon and human bodies—this even meant items as well.

"You looked satisfied, is there anything you want to ask while you can?" Emoji-head said with neutrality.

"Only ask things that have to do with you personally, not what's in the world you're heading to. I've already told you about your Mega evolution, which is already too much." Emoji-head already knew what Roy was going to ask and quickly put a wrench in his attempt.

"....." Roy was speechless.

"I have one last question. If I die, what happens then?" Roy's heart rate sped up when asking this question.

"You'll return here, and we'll settle things then," Emoji-head spoke mysteriously, but these words gave Roy chills for some reason.

"Okay, can I choose which region I'm born into? If so, I wish to be born in Kanto—the default starter region where it all began." Roy asked with hope.

"No. The region you're born in will be random, the transmigrational region will be rolled." Emoji-head said playfully.

"I hope I'm not born in Kalos." Roy's expression darkened a bit. He certainly didn't want to start in that region.

"Who knows, now, it's time I sent you off. See ya, try not to die too soon, hahaha!" Before Roy could say anything, the void tore apart and shuttled him away.

"Funny guy, this fella is definitely going to take the opportunity to do a few bad deeds in that world in order to stay alive—or to 1up someone." Emoji-head chuckled and went back to his seat to await the next visitor.

==========

Meanwhile, Roy was once again sitting in the darkness. However, this time he couldn't feel his hands and legs. Roy was surprisingly calm and waited silently—until he saw a light. The light seemed to have some sort of suction force, thus Roy couldn't resist being pulled toward it.

"Damn it, is this me being born?" Roy panicked slightly but gave up all resistance when he thought about it.

"There he is, it's another boy!" Roy heard and feminine voice. He couldn't open his eyes for some reason, at least not yet. Roy was sure he would be able to open them sometime later from now.

"It isn't over yet, there's another one that has yet to be born. You're amazing, you're having triplets, it's a miracle!" The nurse smiled happily.

"Ugggh! This hurt like hell! F***ing B**tch!" The woman's tone was that of irritation, exhaustion, and rage.

"Calm down, babe, I'm here for you. Take deep breaths, one push at a time." There was a man standing next to her and wiping the sweat from her forehead.

Another nurse took Roy away to wipe him down. Moments later, another child was born and all Roy could hear was yelling, which agitated him. Roy was surprised, he was surprisingly quick to annoyance, this wasn't how he normally was.

"That's good, it's all over now, rest easy." The man beside her sighed in relief before smiling widely, showing a row of white teeth.

Time slips away—when one didn't have any responsibilities, so everything was smooth sailing for Roy.

Before Roy knew it, 3 years had gone by just like.

Roy found that he had 2 other siblings, he was from a set of triplets. Roy had an older brother, who was born 4 minutes before him. Roy also had a sister, who was born 5 minutes after him.

Roy kept his name, which he was thrilled about. His eldest brother was named Troy, and his little sister was named Diana. Troy had black hair just like Roy, but his eyes were blue instead. His little sister on the other hand—also had blue eyes, but her hair was fiery red.

Roy had all the features he asked for when he came into this world, in fact, his mom fawned on him a lot because she loved his purple eyes. She stated that his eye color came from her mom, which would be Roy's Grandmother.

Roy was currently 3 years old and he was sitting with his brother and sister watching television.

"The Adventures of Pikachu and Eevee is the best show!" Diana said in a childish voice as she continued, "Machop would have been a better choice for the best character, but Pikachu is cool enough."

"Eevee would be bedder, it's bedder looking compared to Pikachu and Machop." Troy didn't agree.

Roy noticed that their speech and the way they talked—was somewhat broken. This was understandable, they would get better over time. At this point, Roy had grown used to it, but he had been around them for so long that he almost started talking like them.

"What do you dink, Roy, wats bedder to you?" Diana asked.

"I don't really care, they all seem good to me." Of course, Roy didn't really care too much about these television shows. However, he was a bit interested in the Pokemon world's show for kids since it was something new to him.

Roy was a 28-year-old man when he perished back then.

"See, even... even Roy knows dat Pikachu and Machop are bedders." Diana smiled and nodded.

"H-he didn't say that, you're just making things up! Machop is a dumb-dumb Pokemon!" Troy frowned before being enraged.

"You're just mad that I'm right, hmph!" Diana pouted and didn't care about Troy's outrage.

"You're wrong and you're a dummy!" Troy pointed at Diana's face and said mockingly. Roy didn't say anything and only watched the two with a smile.

"Hey, you two, stop arguing and be nice to one another." Suddenly, a woman walked into the living room, she had red hair and blue eyes. The woman had a tall nose with fair skin and could be considered an 8.5 out of 10 back in his world.

This could be none other than Roy's new mom.

"Ah, mom, Troy started it. He got mad because...because I was right and he was wrong." Diana hurriedly said.

"It doesn't matter whose right and whose wrong, just stop arguing." Their mom said firmly, her name was Diane.

"..."

"..."

Both of them went silent before she spoke again.

"Lana, go play with and watch them." Mom was carrying a fox pokemon in her arms, it could be none other pokemon than Vulpix.

"Nian~!" Vulpix gave a delighted cry before jumping down and skipping toward Roy, Troy, and Diana.

"Vulpix, you're so pretty!" Diana couldn't help herself and started petting Vulpix. Vulpix was friendly and trained well, this species of pokemon usually wouldn't allow people it didn't know to touch it.

It viewed itself in the highest regard compared to others, how dare anyone touch it? However, it was friendly towards all of her kids since it had known them for a while. His mom had this pokemon long before they were born, so it was pretty strong. Diane just hadn't gotten her hands on Fire Stone to evolve it.

"Mom, can we go in de backyard and play with Vulpix?" Troy asked with hope.

"I was going out back anyway, so let's go together." Diane smiled and signaled her kids over.

Moments later, they were outside playing with Vulpix. Roy didn't play but he instead; watched from afar. He had recently learned what region he was in from the conversation between his dad and mom.

Roy and his siblings started school tomorrow, where they would learn basic Math, Science, History Writing Etc. They weren't to be taught much about pokemon until they reached a certain grade level and age.

This region wasn't Kanto, but he was relieved and satisfied with the region he was placed in nonetheless.
