18 Tournament's End 3/4!
Roy and everyone else in the room were done picking and checking their pokemon. The time had arrived, and just like yesterday; they were fighting on four different battlefields. Roy could see that the battlefields had been repaired since yesterday's intense battles.
"We're here for the final battles that will decide the winner of today's tourney. We hoped everyone enjoyed the Pokemon Alliance's special hosted Tournament for young trainers. We'll now announce who will be fighting who." After the announcer spoke, he stepped back.
Another man came forward and announced the matchups.

Everyone quickly got into position on each battlefield.
Roy's opponent was Jayce, he had black hair and brown eyes. He was expressionless, showing complete indifference.
"Roy vs Jayce, let the match begin!" The referee announced enthusiastically.
"To Battle!" Jayce tossed his duo out at the same time as Roy. As soon as Roy saw Jayce's pokemon, his face scrunched.
Jayce had a Kadabra and a Hitmonchan! Roy quickly inspected the two to see how troublesome they would be.

This was the worst-case scenario, this guy's team looked to be made just for doubles. Kadabra was absolutely no joke, and he had to be careful and cautious of this pokemon.
As soon as Arbok appeared, Hitmonchan and Kadabra's body's lit up with dim blue light. This was due to Arbok's intimidate ability, which lowered their attack.
The battle commenced, as Jayce ordered Kadabra to attack Sneasel with a Focus Blast. Kadabra channel some energy through his spoons and formed a ball of energy before sending it flying toward Sneasel.
Of course, Roy ordered it to dodge but through all of this; Kadabra teleported to attack Arbok. Hitmonchan was going in for the attack on Arbok as well, it was easier to catch and deal with.
Roy ordered Arbok to dodge, as Kadabra was trying to hit it with a point-blank Psybeam. Arbok quickly dodge the attack, but this allowed Hitmonchan to hit it with a Power-Up Punch.
Sneasel raced over as fast as it could, she was fast and agile with her movements. Kadabra had tried to use Psychic on this pokemon several times, subconsciously, however, nothing worked.
The battle raged on as both Roy and Jayce continued to give out orders rapidly. Hitmonchan ended up getting poisoned by Arbok's Sludge Bomb attack.
It was only a matter of time before it would fall to the poison. Eventually, Kadabra used Psychic on Arbok, which immediately KO'ed it! Sneasel continued to beat down on Hitmonchan and dodge its strikes, it was a good thing it didn't have Mach Punch.
Kadabra attacked Sneasel by trying to sneak attack it with Teleport. However, Sneasel was just too fast to capture, not to mention Kadabra couldn't use any Psychic-type moves to stop it in its tracks.
"Damn it! Sit still!" Jayce knew this pokemon would be troublesome, so he push this pokemon out of the battle to handle Arbok first before ganging up on Sneasel.
'Crap, I hate this battle style.' Roy thought. He didn't train much in doubles, he only knew some good combo here and there. He never could have imagined that he would run into the hard-to-deal-with Kadabra.
'It's a good thing Sneasel is a dark type.' If not this battle probably would have ended by now.
Sneasel raced off, its speed was nearly hard to process, but Kadabra saw it all. Hitmonchan was having it the hardest with it being poisoned, it could just barely see Sneasel's movements.
"Quick Attack and followed it up with a Night Slash!" Roy had to get rid of Kadabra as fast as he could.
"Teleport, get out of there!" Jayce hurriedly said.
"Switch targets, attack Hitmonchan instead!" Sneasel quickly changed directions and attacked Himonchan, who was running over.
"Counter!"
"Night Slash!"
Both Counter and Night Slash collided with one another. Hitmonchan took little damage, but the poison had already racked up at this point. At that moment, it fell to the ground and fainted from the poison and the bit of damage from Night Slash.
Sneasel to some damage as well, it was even panting from the collision with Hitmonchan. Right then, an orange ball of energy came flying toward Sneasel.
It was Focus Blast!
"Dive and Dodge!" Roy yelled.
Sneasel dove to the side to dodge the blast, which landed in its recent location.
"Focus Blast again and Teleport next to it at the last moment!" Jayce ordered with a grin.
Swoosh~
"Dodge and use Night Slash, watch your flanks!"
Kadabra teleported again, this pokemon could fly and levitate. In a blink of an eye, Kadabra appeared beside Sneasel, but not too close to her. Kadabra was still in the midst of charging Focus Blast, Sneasel rushed over and terrifying speeds.
Its claws were wrapped in a dark aura when it lashed out at Kadabra. At the same time, Kadabra launched its Focus Blast.
Kadabra was hit in the chest by Night Slash, and Sneasel was hit by a Focus Blast. Kadabra didn't release Focus Blast until it felt that the time was ripe, he didn't want Sneasel dodging.
The area imploded in the attack zone, engulfing the area in a dust cloud.
"Who won?" Some in the audience wondered, but the audience was mostly silent with anticipation.
When the dust settled, both parties were still standing and staring at one another. Sweat was rolling down Jayce and Roy's foreheads, as they both wondered what was going on.
They clearly saw that both parties had tagged one another with each other's attack perfectly.
"Sne...asel"
Sneasel collapsed onto the ground and shortly after, Kadabra collapsed as well. Kadabra fell right on top of Sneasel.
"...."
"...."
"Both parties are unable to battle, it's a double knockout. The judges will have to decide on this one." The referee didn't even wave his flag, he turned to the judges for an answer.
"It's a double knock-out, they both hit each other right on the mark!"
"I don't know, it might be a tie."
"No way, Sneasel went down first, so the winner should be Jayce."
People in the audience had their own opinions about the battle.
The three judges began to discuss among themselves. After two minutes of silent discussion, they concluded who the winner was.
"The winner is Jayce!" The referee waved his flag and concluded.
Roy was slightly stunned, but it made sense, his Sneasel had fainted first. Diana and Diane covered their mouths in shock and sadness because of Roy's loss.
Troy, on the other hand, had managed to advance to the next round against his opponent.
"It's okay, kid. You'll get a chance to fight the other kids that lost to make it into the top five, so all hope isn't lost." Mrs. Linen from before turned to Roy and said.
"Ah, right." That was right, there was still hope for 5th place.
Roy went to take a seat, he would have to fight for 5th place later. For now, the winners would advance and battle it out.
Roy had lost by a hair, but he didn't want to make excuses. However, once he trained up his own team, these things won't happen so easily.
The next matches had started, and Troy was up against a girl named Adara. She had light purple hair and dark purple eyes, she was quite the beauty. Her figure was surprisingly voluptuous and busty, she wore a lavender-colored skirt, blouse, and lipstick.
The battles commenced shortly after, with both battles heating up. Shouts from both parties could be heard, as they all issued orders constantly.
Sasha had a Hitmontop and Weezing, while Troy had a Raticate and Fearow. Unfortunately, Troy ended up losing in the end. Adara's Weezing was simply too hard for Troy's pokemon to deal with.
The battles continued and Jayce ended up losing to Darius. All four of them were escorted to the back to pick a new set of pokemon.
Darius had to battle Adara, while Troy had to battle Jayce. Both groups battled at the same time again, while the first losers such as Roy, had to wait until the end to redeem themselves.
Diana and Diane really hoped Troy could win and at least get 3rd place. If he defeated Jayce he would enter the top three, and have the chance to pick a Royal Starter.
At last, it would seem that lady fortune was shining on Troy today. His pokemon were two weird but coincidental picks—if Roy had to say so himself.
Troy had ended up getting both Slowbro and Slowking! Jayce's Hitmontop and Piloswine didn't even have a chance, he was completely defeated in the long run.
With this, Troy made it into the top three!
As you would imagine, Jayce wasn't too happy about this. He kept claiming that it was unfair because his pokemon were completely countered. However, no one cared about his complaints, he didn't say anything when he completely countered his past opponents—why now?
It was now Roy and the rest of the first loser's turn to fight for the top five.
'I can't lose!' Roy's expression became determined.
