35 Fight Against Team Rocket : Jesse and James

As Xavier faced Team Rocket members Jesse, James, and Meowth, he decided to utilize his Insight talent to inspect the opposing team and strategize accordingly. The analysis revealed that Team Rocket had an Ekans at level 18, a Koffing at level 19, and their most formidable member, Meowth, at level 21.

With confidence in Nidorino, who had recently reached level 19, Xavier sent him into battle against Ekans. The clash between the two Pokémon was fierce, with Nidorino employing a combination of Fury Attack and Leer to weaken Ekans. However, Ekans retaliated with its Bite and Screech attacks, causing Nidorino to be paralyzed after being hit by Glare.

Despite the setback, Nidorino's determination prevailed, and he emerged victorious, attaining level 20 during the intense confrontation. Proud of his Pokémon's growth, Xavier recalled Nidorino and chose Mankey for the next round.

Koffing was the chosen opponent to face Mankey. The battle commenced with Mankey launching a series of fierce Fury Swipes, landing solid hits on Koffing. However, Koffing countered with a Smokescreen, which lowered Mankey's accuracy, making it difficult for him to target Koffing precisely.

The challenge intensified as Mankey struggled to locate Koffing amidst the smokescreen.

James, underestimating Mankey's abilities, ordered Koffing to use Screech. This proved to be a grave mistake, as Mankey's Defiant ability kicked in, raising his Attack by two stages in response to the stat-lowering move.

As the smokescreen dissipated, Mankey finally spotted Koffing and seized the opportunity to strike. With swift and accurate Night Slashes, followed by a relentless flurry of Fury Swipes, Mankey conquered the battle, leaving Koffing defeated.

James called back Koffing, and Meowth, their last hope, stepped up to fight.

James recalled Koffing, and Meowth took its place in the battle. However, Mankey quickly gained the upper hand, delivering a series of swift and powerful Low Kick moves that overwhelmed Meowth. The continuous onslaught left Meowth with no chance to counterattack, and it was swiftly defeated by Mankey's skillful maneuvers.

Xavier was rewarded with 1500 pokecoins for his victory over Team Rocket.

After James, Jesse, and Meowth left, a pop-up screen suddenly appeared in front of Xavier:

'Congratulations, Xavier, for completing the mission along with the hidden mission!'

'Mission Evaluation: S grade'

'Reward: Points - 500 , 20,000 pokecoins and Tower Pass(3)'

'You can now choose any move your Pokemon has learned. Please make a selection!'

He saw that this time he did not receive any extra rewards, but he was not sad about it since he had already earned more than he had expected.

He decided to hold off on making a move selection for now, as he still had five days left and wanted to explore further to see if he could find a Pokemon with even better moves.
