1 Chapter 1

Cyle was a soul that wasn't originally from this world, he used to be from Earth. After dying from COVID at the young age of 16, his soul was transmigrated to this plane, the Pokemon World, or to be more exact - The pokeverse. The Wonderous Universe where Arceus, the mother and originator of all pokemons first came to exist.

Cyle was unbelieving at the beginning, he was totally shooked, since when was transmigration a thing?

Cyle knew what it was since he watched a lot of anime where the main characters were isekaid, but he never expect this crazy thing to happen to him. After a few weeks of time passed since his transmigration, he slowly and surely began to realize he wasn't in any kind of dream or any hallucinations.

After enough time passed the feeling of surrealism in him eventually flew away.

Don't get him wrong though, he loved the world of Pokemon, since as a child Cyle has watched every series of the anime although he stopped watching after the series of Alola launched and the series after that because of 'School Responsibilities'. Beisdes, as an orphan he grew up mostly being independent.

Even though, he had watched some clips in Ytube and other social platforms. That shows how he really loved pokemon from his childhood since it is still burning within the depths of his heart, never forgotten and never replaced.

Cyle transmigrated as a eight year old boy, by the time he was living or by the time he transmigrated since today, he came to learn some things. Firstly, the body he transmigrated on was named Caleb Laurent, a child of a somewhat big family of the Laurent's, he decided to accept his new name and became to slowly familiarize himself with it.

Secondly, he came to know where he was living, this was an information he tried to gather as fast as possible since he was scared of the possibility that there could be major differences in the anime he knew and the world, by knowing the location he could find out what is happening and listen more relatively on the television whenever news around the region is reported.

Fortunately, the name, Lumiose City rang a familiar bell to the now young Caleb Laurent, if his memory serves him right, it was a city from the Kalos Region, the sixth major region to be feature in the Main Pokémon series and the setting of Pokémon X and Y.

He remembered how relieved he was to know that, since in his own opinion Kalos Region wasn't that bad, back on earth everywhere on any fanthom you could find on the web, Kalos is a formidable region always ranked within the top 5.

Caleb clenched his fist excitedly as his face burned up and heart thumped with the knowledge he got, 'Pokemon!! The freaking pokemon world! I can't fucking believe this, this is a bit unreal but this really just happened to me, I transmigrated to the world where creatures with unimaginable powers reigned!'

'With the knowledge I have with pokemon, I'm confident enough to say this would be very fun and exciting!' Although he knew of the dangers that lurks around the Pokemon world, that could be managed by Caleb since dangers is also one of his favorite ingredient of being an adventurous person.

Caleb released a breath, if he has to live in this world then he also have to become a Pokemon trainer! Which, with just that thought running through his mind made him really thrilled.

"Caleb dear, we're home!" A sweet and clear voice sounded out from down stairs, calling his name.

Caleb was taken back to reality from his stupor, his eyes lit up recognizing the voice that called him. "Mom and Dad!"

Thirdly and most important of all, Caleb has a complete family in this life unlike his past life where he was just an orphan, an individual that has no guardian or any family relatives to cling unto in times of need.

He quickly ran downstairs and jumped to hug the two people who just entered the front door.

"Did our little baby munchkins bubu missed us?" The woman returned the hug and stroked his hair.

Caleb's mother have an ordinary appearance, but has that elegance and persona in her every action that differentiate her from the rest. She have brown hair which Caleb had inherited.

"Mom! You should stop calling me those names, I've already grown, I'm not a little baby anymore." Caleb complained, that didn't hindered the woman at all from his words. If all, he only received more cringes words from her(for him).

It felt unusual for the former orphan to feel and experience these kinds of things but as time passed as he grew familiar with his new lifestyle, he slowly began to accept it, although it really weirded him out because of the cringe and lovable way his parents address his young body.

"AWWWWWWW!! What could your mommy do with such a cute expression on your face."

"Hahaha, you should know how your mother is Caleb and you know how you mother dotes on you." The man beside the woman smiled at the scene while put down his briefcase on the floor as he crouched down to also hug his son gently. "Come here, let your father have a hug."

Caleb's father was a very tall person. His hair was dark blue in color while he have amazing features sporting a build that was very not unlike Olympic runners.

"Caleb, you are about to be attending your first year of Pokemon School by next week, are you prepared for it?" Clint Laurent, the name of Caleb's father looked at his son and a serious question while the family are heading to the living room.

"Of course, Dad. To be honest I am very excited, the School has so much to teach me far from what the computer in my room has to offer." Caleb smiled to his father's question. Although this world was pretty similar to the anime back in Earth, it has some major and minor differences.

In the Pokemon world he lived in, you have to attend 6 years in school before choosing any careers you would walk upon. Of course that includes the career of being a Pokemon trainer that challenges the Gym Circuit, etc. The Pokemon League, which is an association that provided schools found in every region it governs, gave the sufficient facilities and qualified teachers to help young bloods from the harsh reality that awaits them, this also helps them prepare on their journey while also making them realize what profession is much suited for every single individual.

Unlike in the series, bloodshed and casualties are common news for Pokemon trainers, pokemon aren't that harmless and adorable creatures that you think they are, as needed they could be a very horrific monsters to some.

Especially since not all Pokemons are as forgiving when angered, take the incident that happened on Lumious a while back for example, a unsuspecting five-storey building that agents in the league was surveillancing turned out to actually be a hideout of a crime syndicate that hosted a lot of illegal experiments done on the Rhino evolutionary-line, a single fully matured Rhyperior owned by a Elite-Rank agent that was leading the task was rightfully furious, with a single rampaging pokemon it destroyed the building entirely, not at all caring about it's species since they are already dead, majority of the Rhino's rocky plates was brutally removed and the horns that was usually found on the tip of every rhydon's snout that helps them generate electricity and drill hard rocks were missing.

Expectedly, the scientist wasn't spared, they were all killed by Rhyperior's rampaging attacks, not a single soul remained.

A lot of people already knew not to mess with Pokemon, however, there still remain the minority that are fearless or just plain stupid with something inside their head messed up. I mean if humanity angered the absolute wrath of all pokemon would they ever stood a chance?

The answer is obvious, NO.

That's why 6 years of preparation in a pokemon school are the requirement given to those inspiring trainers. It would just be plain stupid to allow an ignorant naive boy to wonder the dangerous world of pokemons, it would just lead to an early grave for them.

Noraima Laurent sighed as they sat down, "Do you really have to attend a Pokemon School Caleb? How about you reconsider attending the Civilian School, you trying to become a trainer worries me. Even though both your father and I are trainers ourselves, but still..."

Caleb shook his head fiercely at that, this wasn't the first time his mother was persuading him like this, "Mom I want to become a trainer, it is my wish to be one, besides I wanted to travel and have pokemon battles.

"Like you said, both you and father are trainers, and it isn't like our family have any people that attended the Civilian School as far as I know." His voice was firm, his heart and soul wanted him to be a trainer, why would he let go of such opportunity?

"Haaaa, well of course I know I can't pursuade you any further, you sometimes took after your father for being stubborn, usually my baby boy would always listen to his mother's favors." Noraima just accepted the fact her son won't change his mind anymore, so like any mother that could do in this scenario, she gave her support as she looked at her son dottingly.

Clint Laurent laughed at that statement, "Your mother is just worried for you boy, anyway we would always support your goals in life, just remember to not make your mother worry to much."

Their son is right about the fact that the Laurent Family have all attended the Pokemon School, every single one of their family members has.

In fact his grandfather, Cesar Laurent, was a very successful trainer in his early days, he was also quite famous back then. That inspires his offsprings to become just like him.

"I'll do just that father." Caleb assures them, then an important thought suddenly came to his mind. He turned towards his father and used puppy eyes no jutsu on him while saying "Ehem, dad... Since school is about to start, how about giving me my pokemon starter now? I'm sure there would be a lot of pokemons in our breeding center that is available for me to pick, I promise that I would take good care of it, also I would be responsible in feeding my pokemon and it's needs. My friends in the neighborhood my age already got theirs too!"

Clint was surprised momentarily at the words coupled with the expression his son was doing, this included his wife. After a moment though he recovered from his son's antics and he smiled saying. "I know some kids would already have their first pokemon in their first year or even before their enrollment."

"I did too back then, but that isn't my responsibility even though I'm your father, Caleb. I already told you that your grandfather would be the one giving you your starter pokemon."

"Your father is right Caleb, as much as we wanted to give you your first pokemon ourselves, it's a tradition in the Laurent family that the heading figure in the household would bestow that kind of gift personally to the younger generation." Noraima also chimed from the side. As much as they dotted on their son, they couldn't break rules, besides they could be in trouble if the old man Cesar finds out. "Anyways, it is out of the question, so just be patient Caleb."

Caleb nodded obediently in disappointment, he was just excited that's all, but well what could he do?

He just needed to wait anyways, it's not like he could just continue on whining on the subject like it could be forced on.

Both Clint and Noraima smiled seeing their son being obedient, unlike other kinds who would bawl their eyes out if their wants wasn't fulfilled, they were grateful for the fact that Caleb was quite mature compared to other kids his age.

"Are you hungry Caleb? Mom will cook dinner, I'll cook your favorite food for tonight."

Caleb's eyes lit up hearing that, his sour mood was then uplifted as his original cheerful self was retained. "That would be great mom! Thank you!!"

"Enough of your formalities Caleb, we are family." Both his parents reprimanded lightly.

Caleb just nodded as it would still take him time to really adapt to his current situation.

Noraima praised herself seeing her success in cheering her son up, she stood up and chuckled while she ruffled Caleb's hair. "Alright, go do your own things, I'll call you after dinner is ready."
