Neon City, located in the south of Kanto, right next to the Kanto Desert, was also famously referred to as the "City that Never Sleeps". It was a Business and Entertainment City, one of the prime Tourist Destinations of the Kanto Region, and true to its name, it was very colourful with different architectural designs from all over the world.
Though it was just 10 am, the streets were filled with people, and the Public Transports were in full swing.
Aizen and the girls decided to have their breakfast at a famous restaurant, which was picked by Misty, and after a sumptuous meal, they headed to the Pokémon Center to register themselves for the Gym Battle at the Neon Gym.
"I am sorry, but there's only one slot left in the evening today, and then there is one tomorrow at 6 am." Nurse Joy smiled at Aizen and informed him.
"And the day after?"
"There are no slots left for the day after tomorrow. You can get two slots two days later."
"No, we will be fine." He shook his head. "Please register me in the evening's slot." He turned to look at Leaf, who smiled and nodded to him.
"I will take the 6 am Match at the Neon Gym." She informed Nurse Joy.
"Very well." Joy nodded to them and then registered them both for their Gym Battles. "Would you like a Health Evaluation of your Pokémon?"
"Yes, Please!" Aizen, Misty, and Leaf replied and Sabrina nodded her head as well.
After they submitted all of their Pokémon at the Pokémon Center, except for Togepi and Blissey, the girls dragged Aizen to a theatre, which was called "The Theatre of Dreams."
There were no seats left in the Main Hall, but they managed to pay twice the amount to get their seats in a private gallery.
What they were attending was not any simple concert, but a very special Jigglypuff Concert, where most of the audience came to enjoy the beautiful voice and to take a good nap.
"Jigglypuff!"
Everyone happily clapped for the cute little Pokémon that hopped on the stage and excitedly looked at the audience.
"Jigglypuff!" It thanked the audience before closing its eyes and holding the microphone with both its hands.
"Jiggaly...puff...jiggaly...puff!
Jiggaly...puff...jiggaly..."
"Such a beautiful voice." Aizen smiled as he listened to the song of Jigglypuff.
It was not a normal Jigglypuff, and its voice was exceptionally beautiful even amongst its species. And it was quite powerful too, capable of putting anyone to sleep.
He could not help his chuckles when Misty leaned on him and fell fast asleep in a matter of a minute, but Leaf was fine because she was wearing the device he had given to her back at the Fennel Valley Pokémon Center.
As soon as the song finished, the cute little Pokémon opened its eyes and looked around the hall rather depressedly. Everyone was fast asleep, and there was no one to praise.
"You are awesome, Jigglypuff!" Anira and Leaf happily stood up and clapped when they sensed the Pokémon getting sad.
"Jiggly.." It cutely yelped out in surprise and then looked towards their gallery in astonishment. "Jiggly!!!" And then it excitedly started hopping around and thanking them over and over again.
Its happiness at finally getting praised for its song was heartbreaking, and Aizen sighed when he found the young girls hopefully looking at him.
Anira knew that Jigglypuff was not happy singing here as its voice was a little too powerful and everyone who listened to it would fall asleep.
"You do realise that we can not keep Jigglypuff with us. Don't you?" He smiled at his little sister.
"We will send her to Grandma!" She brightly smiled at him. "She won't mind having Jigglypuff around and it can help around as well by putting the naughty ones to sleep."
Aizen knew that there were lots of Pokémon on the Blanc Island who could handle the powerful voice of Jigglypuff, and Anira was not wrong. Their Grandma would appreciate having Jigglypuff around.
"Okay." He nodded to them. "You guys stay here. I will go and talk to the manager."
"Okay." Both of them obediently nodded to her, and then he left the girls in the gallery as he walked towards the Reception.
The lady at the Reception was surprised when he requested her to lead him to the manager's office, and she was ready to make an excuse until he pulled out his PokeDex and showed her that he had an S-Class License with Diamond Perks.
It had to be known that Diamond Perks were super rare, and mostly, only the people who had made significant contributions to the Pokémon World and Research could earn it. The most any Trainer could attain in their lifetime were Platinum Perks, and they were only awarded when you got an official job by the League Councils having passed advanced-level tests.
Aizen did not have to wait long as instead of showing him to the Manager's Office, the owner of the theatre, who happened to be at the premises today, himself arrived to meet him.
"Sorry to keep you waiting, Mr. Aizen." The old man with a thick grey moustache politely said. "My name is Bronn, and I am the owner of the Theatre of Dreams."
"Aizen Orayen." He smiled and shook hands with the old man, whose jaw dropped open in shock when he heard his name. "Prince.." He was about to kneel when Aizen stopped him.
"No need to hold the ceremonies. Can we talk somewhere in private?"
"Of course!" Bronn excitedly nodded his head and lead him to a very luxurious office and poured him the finest wine he had. "What can I do for you, Prince?" He brightly asked, feeling quite excited.
"I wanted to talk to you about the Jigglypuff that just performed the Concert." He said. "My little sister has taken a liking to it, and I would like to buy it."
"This..." In his heart, Bronn was elated that it was not something much, but as a shrewd businessman, he had to make the most out of it. "She is our best Jigglypuff, Prince Aizen." He said. "It's not the money that bothers me, but could I ask for a simple favour in return?"
Aizen lightly smiled at him.
"Recently, I have been planning on opening a Shopping Mall in the Dewford Town in Hoenn. And it would be quite helpful if the Town Management approves my application sooner."
"I see." He nodded to the old man. "I can help you with that but you should know that the laws in Hoenn are very strict. If you are later caught doing anything illegal, you will personally be held responsible by the Orayen Palace." He seriously said, reading the old man's mind.
He did not like reading people's minds, but that did not mean that he would respect someone's privacy when they were asking him for such favours.
"I do not indulge in illegal activities." The old man assured him.
"Very well. I will ask the Inspection Team to run a check on you, and if you are cleared, your application will be approved in a few weeks."
"Thank you!" Bronn was elated when he heard his words and deeply bowed to him. "Please wait, I will bring the Jigglypuff."
A few minutes later, Bronn entered the office, holding onto a cute Jigglypuff, whose eyes brightened as soon as they saw Aizen.
"Jiggly!"
He chuckled and nodded his head as he accepted the Pokémon in his arms.
"I loved your song."
"Jiggly jiggly!"
"Okay, you can sing for me again. But not right now." He nodded to the cute fairy, who seemed to really like the Fairy Energy he was usually covered in.
"Here's its Pokeball, Prince Aizen. We have unregistered it, and you can scan your fingerprint on the Ball."
"Thank you!" Aizen nodded to him and then picked up Bronn's business card from the table. "The management of Dewford Town and the Inspection Team will contact you in a couple of days."
Bronn enthusiastically nodded to him and invited him over for Lunch, but he excused himself.
"Yay!!!" The two little girls excitedly jumped on their feet when they saw Jigglypuff in Aizen's arms.
Anira happily hugged the Jigglypuff and started chatting with it, and Aizen laughed when he saw the little Togepi getting jealous.
He picked up the Egg Pokémon in his arms and scratched its head lovingly, which improved its mood a lot.
"Toge toge!" But it still called out to Anira to pay attention to it.
"Come!"
Togepi jumped into her arms as soon as she opened them for it, and then it smirked at the Jigglypuff, who narrowed its eyes at him.
"Jiggly!"
"Toge!"
"Alright, stop it," Aizen interjected before the two Pokémon could start arguing with each other. "Don't fight with each other." He seriously said to them, and both the Pokémon felt a little fearful of his warning. "Good!" He smiled and scratched their heads before walking over to Misty and waking her up. "I am going back to the Center to get some rest. You guys can do your shopping."
"We will be there to watch your Gym Match!" Leaf promised him and he nodded to her.
"It's so cute!" Misty suddenly exclaimed when she laid her eyes on the Jigglypuff, and Aizen left it to the girls to explain to her what happened.
Before leaving the gallery, he instructed Gengar to stay with the girls, and the Ghost Pokémon silently merged with Anira's Shadow.
Aizen was not really worried about their safety since Sabrina was going to be with them, but he still left Gengar with Anira as a precaution.
As they had their breakfast quite late, he was not hungry. After arriving in his suite, the first thing he did was make a call to the Orayen Palace and instructed one of the butlers to complete his end of the promise he made to Bronn.
The old man was a shrewd businessman, but he did not lie to him about not indulging in illegal activities, and so, Aizen did not mind helping him.
After finishing the call and quick shower later, he climbed into his bed to take a good nap. He had a Gym Battle in the evening, and he was quite excited about it.
