"Alright, then it's decided. But first look at your gifts that I carefully prepared for you."

Vik excitingly shows the gifts he prepared for me.

Present Laila POV: -

Vik excitedly takes out the gifts one by one.

"Okay, here is the first gift I brought, take a look." Then he takes out a medium sized statue from his bag.

The statue has a long serpentine body, with six long pointy wings on its back.

Seeing this I cannot expresses my amazement of this life like sculpture.

"Oh!! Wow!" I utter these words subconsciously.

Smirking at my amazement, Vik looks at me with a smug look.

Embarrassed, my face becomes red, and I shout at him.

"WHAT? It looks amazing okay!!! No need to look smug."

"HaHAHA"

"I was just joking, no need shout. But you are right, the sculpture is one of the gifts I am giving you."

Then Vik becomes serious and tells me it's origin.

"This an extremely rare, but also I believe only one of the few in the present known sculptures of 'Giratina The Renegade Pokémon'."

Before Vik can continue, I interrupt him.

"But isn't Giratina supposed to have six legs instead of six wings, and it should also have a mouth. This Sculpture doesn't have a mouth and legs."

Vik replies saying, "Let me complete what I'm saying."

"After reading the and analyzing the ancient words in one of the ruins in Sinnoh Region. The exploration team and I discovered that Giratina has another form known as the 'Origin Form' known by the ancient people. It's only documented now; this is one of the greatest discoveries I made in my life. In the ruins we found exactly three sculptures. One is with the exploration team for further research, one is with me and this is the last one, which I am giving you as a gift. Amazing right! Of the three sculptures the exploration team has the 2nd 'Origin Form' sculpture and I have the 'Altered Form' sculpture which the Giratina usually appears in."

With this he finished the sculpture's origin.

"Great!!! But is it alright for you to give it to me, I'm sure many people from the League would be pestering behind you for you to sell it to them? And what about your home region, I'm sure they too will ask you to give it to them for research?"

I ask him with a worried tone.

"Don't worry about them. I gave mine to my Granny and my Mother, you know they can convince others with that. So, no one will ask about yours. Plus, my father is with the joint exploration team I made with the other region explorers in the research of the sculpture of the 1st statue."

"Then don't mind if I keep it in the gym. With this I'm sure many trainers will be intimidated when they see it at the entrance."

Seeing that I'm planning for the downfall of numerous future trainers with the sculpture, Vik offers a silent prayer for them.

Finishing all the dark ideas I have for the betterment of the future trainers. Vik moves on to the 2nd gift he brought me.

This is also a sculpture; this one is an avian Pokémon sculpture in the shape of Y. It's a Pokémon we both, me and Vik are very familiar with, when we travelled in the Kalos region. Its 'Yveltal The Destruction Pokémon'.

The counter part of 'Xerneas The Life Pokémon' which can heal any Pokémon even on the brink of death. But Yveltal is the Pokémon of pure destruction, wherever it passes, chaos ensures, and all life is lost. This Dark type Pokémon was sealed by Xerneas a few centuries ago because of its uncontrollable thirst for destruction which is written in the scriptures we found in one of the Kalos region ruins.

"T-This!!! How did you find this, All the statues of Yveltal are broken and destroyed by the ancient people of Kalos region, only paintings and pictures are found? How did you get this?"

I ask him with a shocked tone.

"You remember my trip back when we were still travelling together right? It seems that The Destruction Pokémon Yveltal has made a trip to my home region during the ancient times and saved a bunch of villages and tribes living in the forests. This made them believe Yveltal is a God to them and they started worshipping him as a protector who blessed them strength to defeat enemies. So, they made these sculptures so that they can pray to him. We found two temples built for worshipping him, in there are nine sculptures of Yveltal. Two are very large, these two are the main sculpture which the ancient people prayed to. We found four others in different locations/chambers of the temple. Mostly, the Chief Priests and the Tribal Chiefs are in possession of them. And the last three are the small ones. This is a small sculpture of Yveltal."

"This is my 2nd gift for you. Wonderful right!"

Vik explains to me clearly.

"Oh!! Amazing. So, this is the reason you went home. And to think Yveltal has crossed many regions and long sea to travel to your region and explore. It's fantastic, this explains we still don't know the behavior of all the Pokémon's, still much to explore, learn and see for ourselves. Right Vik!!! I hope we can explore your region as well deeply and discover new things."

I talk excitedly to Vik as he keeps nodding to my rumbling with a huge grin on his face.

"Hey Vik!! Thanks for these amazing Sculpture. I will treasure them."

I tell him with a mesmerizing smile.

"I still did not show you the last gift, here take a look. I'm sure after seeing this you will be god smacked."

With that he takes of the last gift.

The thing he takes of is in a large box. After taking of the wooden cover, inside of the box lay another box full of packaging and labeled 'Do not break, made of glass'. Removing the carboard covering, a case made of glass and inside of that glass is the most beautiful thing I ever saw in my entire life.

Inside laid a sparkling stone or gem or mineral I have never seen in my life. It's in the size of a large single bed.

It is 3-foot-wide, 7 foot in length and 4 foot in width. The whole glass case is 5-foot-wide, 8 foot in length and 5-foot width.

Seeing that my attention was caught, he starts explaining what it is to me.

"Well!! I don't know what it is. To be honest, you do the meteor shower that happened a year ago right?"

Vik askes me with an uncertain tone.

"Yeah! It was in your region right, you said it was a strange phenomenon in your region that the meteor shower appears every 108 years."

I answer him.

"Yes, that one. Well, as I was watching the meteor shower, I noticed that a certain meteor was falling down and suddenly turned direction and crashed not far away from me. Even after observing for a long time, no one discovered the crash. So, I went inside the crash and discovered this. I thought of handing out it to the League and my family. But I wanted to test and analyze it by myself. So, even after keeping it for myself for a year I did not discover much about this thing."

"This stone is very beautiful, it looks like a seeing a galaxy and many colorful nebulas and auroras, so I named it 'The Galaxy Gem'. It is very dark black with the shining galaxy stars and nebulas, auroras. It is very smooth to touch and also warm. After analyzing it, I found no existing mineral like it in the League data base and in our region database. So, I can conclude that this is an entirely new gem from outer space. It is also extremely strong; I could not even put a scratch on this. So, you don't have to worry about it breaking."

"The only interesting thing I found out about it was Dark/Ghost/Fairy type Pokémon are very comfortable around it. My Noivern sleeps around it whenever it gets the chance. Just to be sure I exposed it to all types of Pokémon, only these three types of Pokémon showed a reaction, other did not show a reaction. This is one of the reasons I'm giving it to you."

"When the meteor fell. It broke in to two pieces. One is in my lab in my home region. It is the small piece that broke off after it fell. This is the larger piece my last gift to you. So, keep it well."

Touching the gem with my hands, I can feel it is smooth but mildly warm surface. Listening to Vik, so to test his deduction I released my Pokémon I have with me.

"Come on out all of you!!!!"

*Swish*

All my Pokémon voices filled the field, but they suddenly stopped and look at the huge gem beside me. By not disturbing them, I slowly back off to see their reactions.

All my Pokémon go near the huge gem and nudge it a little, a few of them sniff it and some lick it. After observing the huge gem, they yelped happily and relaxed around it with a soft smile on them.

This conforms Vik's theory on the calming effect on Dark/Ghost/Fairy type Pokémon.

"Incredible!!! This gem has an amazing effect on calming the Pokémon."

I say it with a grin on my face.

"I know right!!" Vik also agrees with me.

After the whole gift showing, we talked about the things we both went through after we split up in our journey. I talked about what I went through and he talked about what he went through.

We spent the whole evening that way. No Pokémon trainer showed up today, so we both went to my home. Grandpa and Vik met with each other for the first time and I introduced them to each other.

We all talked and shared our stories and enjoyed the dinner. In the house we have many spare rooms so, we let Vik stay in one of the rooms, and then tomorrow we can go to the Pokémon theme park Vik talked about.
