Chapter 6: Training and unexpected meeting.

It's been 3 months now since Anubis came to the world. 5 months since Soul's dad went on a work trip. They talk once in a while over a computer, laptop, or phone.

Soul didn't bother to ask about, what his dad was working on since he would always reply with 'its a secret.'

The first month after Anubis was born, Soul taught him about the world and the region they currently are living in. Soul was surprised how fast Anubis could keep up with him, he was happy that Anubis was very intelligent for a newborn Pokemon.

After he taught all the basic knowledge to him, he took Anubis out to train with him. At first, he was testing him in all kinds of aspects, before deciding how to train him.

Surprisingly Anubis aced all the tests he gave him, as he got a few ideas on how to train him.

At first, it was about endurance. Soul wanted Anubis to be able to hold on in a long battle and able to train for a longer time period, so he made him do various training to improve his endurance for two weeks.

After that, he trained him in his strength and made him do some normal push-up and sit-ups. Of course, he always stretched both him and Anubis, so that they wouldn't get any sore muscle after training.

Three weeks later, he trained Anubis with his speed, since he wanted to max out Anubis speed to his full potential. He trained him pretty hard with his speed, so it took them five weeks to finish it.

Right now Soul was teaching Anubis about energy surround him. All Pokemons and few peoples have some sort of energy surrounding them, enable them to use moves like Charmander using Ember, Squirtle using Water Gun, and Bubarlsaur using Razor Leaf.

As for humans, if you have watched Pokemon, especially the first series, you could see the human are able to use some sort of energy, that allows them to do impossible things that humans could do.

Soul had some experience with it when he was training using his power. So he made Anubis focus on his surroundings and try to feel some sort of energy that is similar to his, flowing around him and his surrounding.

It took him five minutes to do so and Soul said to him that he should try to infuse himself with his body, soul, and mind, strengthening him in overall aspect, making him able to learn new moves faster and making them much more powerful.

Just like that five days went by and Soul was watching Anubis doing the same training, while he was meditating and are focusing on strengthening his senses, so that he would be able to feel his surrounding around him much more clearly, even without looking at them.

While they were doing so Anubis suddenly opened his eyes, feeling the change of the surrounding around him, Soul opened his eyes and saw that Anubis was standing up from the grass. He also did the same and asked.

Soul: "Anubis, what's wrong?"

Anubis didn't give an answer and immediately ran toward the forest close to his house. Soul didn't know what was going on so he followed him from behind.

After about thirty minutes, they both stopped and saw an injured Noibat and a dead Noivern, who presumably was his mother. Seeing this Soul couldn't help but feel shocked by the sight, even more on how Anubis was able to find them.

Soul went to the injured Noibat and took it body out of the dead Noivern body and begin to heal it, while Anubis begin to look at the direction of the dead Noivern and sat in a meditate position while praying.

Suddenly Noibat eyes were little by little lit up to see a human and a strange Pokemon behind him, praying. There it saw its mother, who was not moving at all. It begins to flap its wing and flew to her.

It then start shaking her with its wings to no results, it couldn't feel any form of life energy inside of her anymore, even though it knew that she passed away, it just... didn't want to accept it.

Noibat the begin to cry and mourn over it dead mother, Soul who was watching this wanted to stop look at their direction, but keep a hold on himself, as lights begin to envelop around the death Noivern.

The light begins to shine brightly, as Soul was forced to cover his eyes from the sudden brightness and when it was gone, he couldn't believe what he saw.

A blue transparent Noivern was floating behind Noibat who just took notice of her now, smiled and tried to hug her, only to went through her. Confused by this it tried again and again but to no available.

The Noivern just looked at it and smiled, then try to pat its head, while trying to say that it's ok. She then gazed over at Soul and Anubis who was now beside him. Soul understood the gaze he received from her and nodded.

Soul: Don't worry, I will take good care of it and make sure it becomes a strong Noivern, one day.

After he said that, Noivern said something to her child and Noibat looked over at Soul and shakes its head before she disappeared from their eyes with a smile.

Noibat begins to cry again over its dead mother and after a few minutes calmed down a bit. Soul then went to him and patted his head, while saying.

Soul: Sorry for your lost, I'm not good with words, but I'm sure that your mother wants you to move forward, at least let us bury her body for now.

Noibat did nothing but stared into Soul's eyes, it could see that this human doesn't have any bad intentions and only sadness could be seen in his eyes.

Noibat then nodded and helped both Soul and Anubis to bury his mom. Soul used his physic power to lift as much dirt, he could and Anubis punched over the weak spot of the ground, creating a large crack, helping Soul with moving it away.

Noibat also helped them in any way it could. It wanted to prove to its mother, that it's going to be strong and decided to come with the human and the strange Pokemon.

After they were done, Noibat took a last glance at its dead mother grave and flew over to one of Soul's shoulder, while looking a little sad, yet determined at the same time. Soul noticed this and try to encourage him.

Soul: Don't worry, Noibat. I promised your mother that I will make you a strong Pokemon, no matter what, so would you like to join me and my journey, when I'm ten?

Noibat nodded vigorously and Soul smiled a bit while patting its head. This reminds Noibat of what its mother did to it last time before she disappeared made encouraging it, even more, to become stronger.

When they reached home, his mother noticed them and begins to scold Soul for running away without telling her about where he went

She then noticed a Pokemon, she has never seen before in one of her son's shoulder, so she asked him about it. Soul then explained what happened and why he was absent without her knowledge.

After he was finished his mom couldn't help but feel pity for this little Pokemon, who looks like it was just born a few weeks ago.

They went inside and his mom made him and the Pokemons their foods. Unexpectedly, Noibat was a quick eater and would always ask for more.

Seeing this made everyone laughed, who knew that this little Pokemon could eat so much?

After they were done, he took out a Pokeball and captured Noibat, making it, his second unofficially Pokemon.

He threw out the Pokeball in the air and Noibat came out of it and went to hug Soul, then went to sit on one of his shoulders. After a while, Soul went to a bath and they all went to sleep.
