Viridian City Once Again

Zoroark's fist made contact with Tangela's face and an explosion of blue flames burst to life, sending the grass Pokemon to the ground, down and out of the battle.

Erika raised Tangela's Pokeball and returned her before sending out her final Pokemon.

"I choose you, Vileplume!" Erika ordered.

With a flick of the wrist, Vileplume appeared in the arena, seemingly ready to fight to the bitter end, alas that kind of motivation was nothing short of scary.

"Zoroark, Return!" I ordered, recalling Zoroark and sending out Scizor for the battle.

"Now Scizor, Strike with Aerial Ace!" I ordered.

"Sweet Scent!" Erika ordered.

This is actually the first time that she isn't using Sunny day right at the start, Is there any reason for the sudden change of heart? Sweet Scent made Scizor freeze in place, driven into a state of motionless distraught by the wafty fragrance that invaded his senses.

During the time that Scizor remained Motionless, Vileplume had launched a Sunny day and strengthened the power of Grass type and Fire type moves.

"Extreme Speed!" I called out.

Scizor stretched his muscles to the limit, veins popping on his metallic skin as he deciphered the laws of nature and smashed right into Vileplume with a speed that Steel types weren't supposed to be able to achieve.

"Vileplume, Poison Powder!" Erika ordered.

An explosion of pure spores burst to life as Scizor left the haze of spores, His face lighting up in a deep shade of purple. He was poisoned.

"Thunder and Ice Fusion!" I ordered.

Scizor nodded and his right and left pincers glowed in crackling lightning and frigid cold respectively, With a single step backward, Scizor let out an exasperated sigh.

He had taken on Gyrados larger than this Vileplume so he had to preserve his cool, so that he could win the battle. With a flurry of movement, Scizor pressed on and made his way to Vileplume who seemed ready for more.

With a shimmer of light, A beam of pure solar energy came to life and shot to Scizor who seemed ready for the incoming onslaught. In one swift movement, He pushed himself off the ground and into the air, narrowly dodging the Solarbeam attack but several large vines sprouted from the ground, threatening to attack him and put an end to this round.

Scizor was faster than ever, dodging each and every vine like the wind and driving his pincers into the ground. The raw unmitigated power of the two elements collided against each other, generating a Shockwave that successfully tore all of the roots apart and even disoriented Vileplume and Erika a bit.

"Thunder Punch, Burst through the air like Lightning!" I let out the order and Scizor executed it.

Scizor's right pincer glowed and let out a blue crackle of thunder, signifying the charging of the powerful move that was threatening to put Vileplume out of the battle for good.

Vileplume quickly recovered, His body exuding a pure ring of disorienting grass energy.

"Solar Attack!" Erika ordered.

Solarbeam pierced through the air, followed by the resounding sound of vines that were coming from the ground.

Still through all this, Scizor remained resolute as the lightning gathering in his right fist intensified until it covered his entire arm.

"Now!" I ordered.

Scizor took off, Small shots of lightning could be seen blasting out of his entire being. He dodged the solar beam by shooting to the left and then the tremendous barrage of vines were dodged by him as well.

His speed seemed to reach a new level as he jumped from vine to vine with speed laced in his every movement, To Scizor, It was like the world slowed down a bit around him and that bit of speed reduction was enough for him to up his game.

After dodging the last of the vines, Scizor connected a devastating Thunder Punch on the face of Vileplume who couldn't react in time and got forced backwards.

Brilliant bolts of lightning struck the two Pokemon as the Thunder Punch made impact. Vileplume had fainted while Scizor had held on due to his steel typing.

"Round 3 has been concluded and Trainer Jordan has won the gym battle!"

An eruption of cheers left the crowd as they celebrated for the trainer with Three A-rank gym badges, After all, He had given them an awesome battle, One that they wouldn't forget for a long time.

I returned Scizor to his Pokeball and watch Erika walk over to me, Her body had never looked so delicious.

She extended the gym badge to me and I took it, My hands shaky.

"Congratulations on winning the Celadon city gym battle," Erika said with a smile on her face.

"Thanks," I said, looking into her eyes. I looked into the very fiber of her being...

...

A Charizard descended from the sky and a trainer got off it. Each and every one of the locals knew who got off the Charizard.

It was me...
