Walter fell down on the living room couch and began panting.

"That was such a long walk," Walter said.

"You're pretty lazy," I said with a grin, I had gotten used to the fact that Maria had and was still wrapping her hands around me throughout the walk.

"When I was your age, I was able to climb Mount Moon to the top in 3 days without resting," Walter said.

"Stop overrating yourself, The winding path to the top of Mount Moon is very dangerous and a person would need LV. 55-60, At least, A champion-ranked Pokémon to guarantee survival in that place," I said.

'Saw right through my lie,' Walter thought then he smiled.

"I have more gym badges than you," Walter said.

"I'm not gathering gym badges," I said.

"Wait, Why not? The Kanto Champion Tournament has many strong trainers participating in it this year and not to mention the high prizes if you get to Top 16," Walter said.

"Huh, What are the prizes?" I asked, eagerly.

"They say the person who ranks Top 16 gets 10 Million Pokédollars, Fifty rare candies which are going to be supplied by me and then they'll get the highest potential Starter Pokémon from one of the regions," Walter said, "And that's just for the Top 16th participant, What about the Top 3?" Walter asked after seeing the dreamy look in my eyes.

"Can I see your gym badges?" I asked.

"Why sure you can," Walter said and left the living room. I turned to Maria.

"Is there anything that I can do to get you off of me?" I asked.

"Lips or No Lips," Maria replied.

"What's that supposed to mean?" I asked.

"Well, I know you're only interested in me because you want Rare candies from my Dad," Maria said while frowning, "I've never had any real friends, The only ones I had wanted something in return for their friendship...That's why I can't trust you, How do I know that you're not like that Butler, Robinson? How do I know that you're not after my body?"

'Well, Because I already have a girlfriend that has a better body than you do!' I wanted to say that but if I did, I could almost picture her sucking my blood.

"I don't need anything from you or your Dad, I want to be your friend genuinely, Maria, You may not believe me if I say this but I...I really like you a lot," I said causing Maria to gape at me in shock.

"Even after all that, I swear, You look cute when you try to behave cruel," I said with a chuckle. Maria removed her hands from me and went to a couch with a combination of a smile and a frown.

Walter immediately entered the room and brought out his badge box.

"Heh, When you see my amount of Gym badges, You'll be shocked to the core," Walter said as he opened his Badge box, I took a peek and I was shocked by what I saw.

"Wait a minute, How many gyms are in Kanto?" I asked.

"There are 25 gyms in Kanto and they are officially accepted by the League, Each gym badge is divided into 3 ranks and to participate in the Kanto Champion Tournament, Every trainer needs a set of gym badges.

They are B-rank, A-rank and S-rank gym badges.

B-rank is the lowest difficulty and S-rank is the highest difficulty for trainers and to participate in the Kanto Champion Tournament, You'll need about 8 B-rank gym badges or 4 A-rank gym badges or 1 S-rank gym badge.

In this Badge Box, I have 8 B-rank gym badges and 7 A-rank gym badges," Walter said all of this with a proud smile on his face.

"Uh-huh and what place did you rank in the Kanto Champion Tournament?" I asked.

"Well, Top 45th trainer in the Kanto Region at that time," Walter replied.

"Oh well, I was beginning to think you were strong. If I was to participate in that Tournament, I would at least be in Top 3," I said.

"Huh, Why don't you do it? I dare you to, Do you know how hard it is to get Gym badges?" Walter asked.

"Well, I will participate in this Tournament and I will make Top 3," I said.

"Don't get your hopes high, The Kanto Champion Tournament starts in 4 Months," Walter said, "So you have a lot of time to train your Pokémon,"

"I just think that all you're saying is a ruse so you can make me participate in the Tournament," I said.

Walter froze.

'How did he know?' Walter thought.

"Well, Before I choose to participate, I'll ask a Pokémon from my team, If he doesn't want me to Participate then I won't participate," I said while bringing out Charmander's Pokéball and throwing it into the air.

There was a Pop sound as the Ball opened and Charmander appeared on the ground with a serious expression.

"Charmander, Do you want us to participate in the Tournament?" I asked.

"Char!" Charmander shouted while raising its hands up excitedly.

"Spoken like a real Dragon," I muttered and returned him to his Pokéball, "Fine, I'll participate but there's a price,"

Walter sweatdropped.

"What price?" Walter asked.

"Your training is increasing to 10 Laps, MWAHAHAHAHAHA!" I said while laughing evily.

Walter nearly fainted and Maria laughed.

'He doesn't seem so bad,' Maria thought.

[CERULEAN CITY RESEARCH LABORATORY, THAT NIGHT]

"Tell me all you know about Aura!" I thundered at the five scientists which were in the room. All of the doors and windows were locked and the Scientists were tied up and bound with ropes.

"We don't research about Aura in this facility, It's for Pokémon research," The Head scientist spoke up.

"Are you thinking I'm some sort of fool? I hacked into your computers and saw that you guys have a separate hidden file for Aura that is covered with a security code so if you don't want me to kidnap you or worse rape the females here, I think that you should hand the files over to me!" I shouted, sounding intimidating.

"Ahhh, Our research notes on Aura are in the main computer and the password is 'Xxsedflgigehgnedjfegehigghffd'," The Scientist said.

"How do you even remember that?" I asked while going to the Main computer and logging in, I entered the password and copied all of the Aura research notes to my phone before waving to them.

"I'm done," I said and untied them, "But if I hear about any of this outside, I'll kill all of you no exception,"

I instantly vanished leaving the Scientists shocked beyond words.
