Two and a half years later...

It had been three years since Alex was rescued, and a lot had happened in the meantime. The World Pokémon Tournament was in its final rounds. Alex had celebrated two more birthdays with his family and friends. His eldest brother had reached the Elite Four level and was getting married. The wedding was luxurious, and it was worth noting that the legal age for marriage started at 14 years old.

Professor Oak's Lab

6:00 am

As the alarm beeped, Alex woke up still feeling sleepy. He got up and walked to the mirror. Over the past two years, Alex's body had undergone significant changes due to puberty. He now stood at 5'7" tall and had developed eight-pack abs from training every single day for the past three years. Alex looked in the mirror to see a handsome face with scars all over his body, black and white mixed hair, and golden eyes. Overall, if he were to rate himself, he would easily give himself a 9 out of 10. Alex took a shower, got dressed, and as he walked out of his room, he saw a beautiful woman dressed as a secretary. She had long magenta-colored hair worn in a ponytail.

As she noticed Alex, she greeted him, saying, "Good morning, young master. I hope you had a good rest last night," with a beaming smile.

"Neutral. So, what is my schedule for today?" asked Alex, looking at the woman whose life he had changed so much.

"Young master, at 10 o'clock, you have to give a lecture to those special students. After that, you are pretty much free to do whatever you want. Also, Professor Oak wants to meet you this afternoon. How should I reply to that?" inquired the beautiful woman, now identified as Jessica.

"Tell him we will have lunch together, and Jessica, tell James to prepare lots of food for dinner, as I am thinking of inviting all the students to dine with us," replied Alex.

"Of course, young master. James will be happy to ensure all the kids eat with us," said Jessica happily.

Alex then proceeded to the dining hall to have breakfast. On the table, there was an array of delicious-looking food. Alex and Jessica sat down and started eating, when two other women joined them. The first woman had bright pink hair and fair skin, while the other had dark teal hair and fair skin. They were Nurse Joy and Officer Jenny, respectively. You may wonder why they were with Alex. Well, since all Nurse Joy belonged to the Life Clan and all Officer Jenny belonged to the Order Clan, his mother paid them a substantial amount of money to accompany him on his journey. This was how Alex had his own Nurse Joy and Officer Jenny. They all greeted each other before starting to eat.

A few minutes later, a man arrived with even more food. He had shoulder-length periwinkle hair with a single fringe sprouting from the center and green eyes. He was wearing butler clothes. You may wonder how he was connected to Alex. Two years ago, he and another person attempted to rob a passing car without knowing that Alex was inside. Alex gave them the option to work for him or go to the most secure jail in the world. They didn't have any choice but to work for him. However, after two years, they had grown out of their insecurities and became more than capable butlers and secretary for Alex.

After breakfast, Alex headed to teach the special kids in their class, which would take up a significant portion of his day. After a few twists and turns, Alex found himself standing in front of his classroom, where the students' voices could be heard.

"Hey, guys, who do you think will become the world champion?"

"Of course, it will be Champion Lance. Don't you know he's the current world champion?"

"I think Champion Steven has a chance of becoming the new world champion."

"Ahem." With a light cough, Alex entered the room. Upon hearing his cough, the students started to return to their seats and greeted Alex, "Good morning, Professor Alex," in unison. "Good morning, everyone," Alex greeted them back. He looked around the class and saw many familiar faces. If any Pokémon fan were to see them, they would recognize at least half of them. Yes, they were the main characters from the Pokémon anime and games. But how did Alex become their professor?

After some of the previous Guardians went missing, the Pokémon League wanted to ensure that the new Guardians would be alright. They decided to teach the team how to control their powers. They connected professors from all the regions and instructed them to connect all the legal guardians to make them somewhat understand the situation, assuring them that the league would look out for them. The league gathered all the Guardians in Professor Oak's lab, where a building was set up as an academy and hostel for them. They needed a black family member to be their teacher, to educate them further about Guardians and their powers. However, all the members who knew a lot about it already had a lot on their plates. So, Alex volunteered to teach them, on the condition that he would receive some privileges.

At first, the league thought the Black family was joking. But after discovering what Alex was capable of, they realized he was the best teacher for them and granted him the requested privileges. While Alex was lost in his thoughts, one of the students asked him a question.

"Professor, who do you think will win the World Championship?"

Alex could see that he had their full attention. Even the students who usually didn't pay much attention seemed interested in the answer.

"Champion Leon will win the World Championship, Nemona," Alex answered with such confidence that it left them shocked. Alex chuckled inside at their surprised faces. "Anyway, everyone, back to class." Their attention returned to Alex, and so much had changed since he started teaching them. He still vividly remembered the first class.

6 months ago

Alex stood outside the class, listening to the voices of the students, which felt strangely familiar. He hadn't been told whom he was going to teach; all he knew was that they were his age and were the Guardians whom the professors were keeping an eye on, knowing they could make a significant impact on the world. Alex had talked to Professor Oak before entering the class and learned that this generation had the highest number of Guardians ever recorded.

"Hey, guys, why do you think we need to take this class called History and Guardians? We've been here for six months now, and though it's been good, they aren't teaching us anything we can't learn on our own."

"Well, since it's the only mandatory class we have to take, we might as well learn something here."

Alex opened the door and entered the class. Initially, everyone fell silent, assuming their teacher had arrived. But upon seeing Alex, they breathed a sigh of relief, some of them exploding with shock and saying,

"Are you Alex Black, the world-renowned singer, by any chance?"

"Are you also a student here? Come take the class with us."

"Can I get your autograph, please?"

"Tch, what's so special about him?"

Alex had expected such reactions, but he was taken aback by the students he found. He could see Ash, Red, Gary, Blue, Ethan, Hilda, May, and the other main characters from the games and anime. After gathering himself, Alex said, "Hello, everyone. I am Alex Black, and I will be your professor for the subject of Guardians and History."

For a few seconds, there was absolute silence, even the sound of breathing could be heard, before everyone exploded with excitement once again.

"How can you be our teacher? You're the same age as us!"

"You must be joking, right?"

Before they could say anything more, the door swung open and Professor Oak entered the classroom. As he made his way inside, the students quieted down in anticipation. "Ahem," Professor Oak cleared his throat, capturing everyone's attention. "This is your new professor, Alex Black. Before you bombard him with questions, let him finish his class." He took a seat at one of the empty desks. "Thank you, Professor Oak, for your assistance," Alex expressed his gratitude before stepping to the front of the class to begin his lecture.

"First and foremost, what I am about to teach you is confidential information. You cannot share this with anyone. If the league finds out, you may jeopardize your chances of becoming a Pokemon trainer. And if you reveal it after becoming trainers, your license will be revoked. Do you all understand the seriousness of this?" Alex's tone was stern and grave. Some of the students were taken aback by the league's strict rules, while others remained composed.

"Do you understand?" Alex reiterated, scanning the room for confirmation.

"Yes," the students replied in unison.

"Alright, then. I will proceed with my lecture. Make sure to pay attention." With that, Alex delved into the history of the Guardians and how they were destined to protect this generation. 'Hey, Apollo, how is it possible for them to be the same age as me? Shouldn't some of them be older?' confused, Alex whispered to his partner while simultaneously giving his lecture. 'That's because this is hard mode. In hard mode, all the main protagonists in the Pokemon world must be from the same generation as you,' Apollo explained.

After Alex concluded his retelling of the Guardians' history, he asked if anyone had any questions. Several hands shot up in response.

"Why are we all here?"

"Well, some of the previous Guardians have gone missing. The league thought it best to educate all of you before you embark on your Pokemon trainer journey."

"Has the league arranged for our security?"

"Yes, this year, at least four gym leaders from other regions will be present in Kanto. Their main responsibility is to ensure the evil organizations don't run rampant."

"Why are you our teacher? What can you teach us?"

"I am also a Guardian, and I have mastered my powers. Would you like a demonstration?"

"Yes, please," the students eagerly replied, curious to witness the power of a Guardian.

Suddenly, from Alex himself, the shadows in the room began to move, engulfing everything in darkness before abruptly retreating. The spectacle left nearly everyone in awe.

"What I just demonstrated was darkness manipulation, a power possessed by the Guardian of Darkrai. Is this sufficient to teach you all?" Alex inquired.

"Yes, Professor," the students responded, their excitement palpable.

Back in the present, Alex asked the class a question. "Who can tell me which Pokemon types have been sealed by the Pokemon god?" Several hands shot up, and Alex chose one student to answer.

"The sealed types are Time, Space, Light, Sound, and the newly discovered Cosmic type."

"Correct," Alex commended the student.

After a few more hours, Alex concluded the class. "Before you all leave, I have an announcement to make. This will be our last class as next month, we will all embark on our Pokemon journeys. Therefore, I have decided to treat you all to a dinner at my place, and the league has provided tickets for all of you to attend the World Pokemon Championship finals happening next week." Alex dropped two bombshells, leaving the students in shock and excitement.

"WHAT?!""HAHA! We get to see the World Pokemon Championship finals live! Amazing!"

Everyone reacted differently, but the mixture of sadness and anticipation was evident among the students.

After class, Alex had lunch with Professor Oak and engaged in conversation. Afterwards, he checked on his Pokemon in his personal dimension, ensuring they had everything they needed. He had created an ideal environment, complete with lakes, mountains, deserts, and even a mansion for himself. With Apollo's help, he had even replicated the Hisuian region. Satisfied with the well-being of his Pokemon, Alex joined everyone for dinner.

The evening was filled with laughter and joy, with James showcasing his newfound culinary skills as a world-class chef, having learned from the Black family's head butler.

At the World Championship finals, Alex surprised everyone by singing the very first Pokemon theme song. The crowd erupted with excitement, as the nostalgia and power of the song resonated throughout the stadium. Against all expectations, Leon emerged victorious, becoming the new champion.
