Meeting Green

The action of crushing the Pokeball was not without it's disadvantages, as blood streamed down from his hand a moment later... Stirring up shocked expressions from the crowd of trainers.

"You're just walking trash," Red said, his eyes gaining an even more devilish glow, "You deserve to be wiped out from the face of this world,"

Richard averted his eyes from Red's deep crimson pair and fear crossed his heart but that fear was short-lived when a Nurse walked to Red, grabbing his hand and taking him into the Center.

"That was stupid," Olivia said as Red sat on his room bed, surrounded by his group. Of course, Hannah was resting peacefully on his lap and Yellow and Olivia's faces were on Red who let out a sigh.

"Wasn't my fault, Couldn't control myself," Red said, showing her a Pokeball, "But at least I got a Dragon Pokemon,"

"You know Dragons eat a lot, right?" Olivia asked.

"The League's sponsorship," Red chimed back and waved the Pokeball, "Besides, Getting the trust of a Dragon will be much more harder than I expect,"

Olivia rolled her eyes.

"Well, we should each get a good night's rest, After all, Tomorrow is going to be a day filled with shopping for me," Olivia said, extending a credit card, "I'm going to spend as much as I can from this credit card,"

Red sighed.

"Well I'm definently not joining you in your shopping spree, rather I will be in the confines of the Pewter city gym," Red said, "After all, I have a gym challenge to win,"

"So you're challenging the leader straight on? Sounds like a dumb move since you're a competitor for the Quartz Conference not the Indigo league," Olivia said, "You'll be completely defeated by Brock, Let me tell ya, He's a great trainer and he's got a girlfriend or two... The Nurse Joy of this place and even the Officer Jenny,"

Red's eyes widened.

"And not to mention he's one of the youngest gym leaders in the entirety of the Kanto region," Olivia said.

Red brought out his Pokedex and sighed.

"Alright alright, I heard you," Red said and then proceeded to check the Pokeweb, "Let's sleep,"

Olivia and Yellow left the room leaving Red and Hannah together in the shared bed, The face of the Younger girl a light shade of pink as Red lay her down on the bed.

"Alright, Sleep well," Red said and then laid on the bed next to her, still searching his Pokedex.

The next morning, Yellow and Olivia had embarked on a Journey to gather supplies and all other necessities like clothes for their Imminent journey to Cerulean city.

"Red, Why are we standing in the park?" Hannah asked.

Right now, She was standing with Red in the Pewter city park.

"If you had access to the Pokeweb, You would know that trainers can set official battles with other trainers across the web, Of course, With rewards. If it's a regular battle, One would be fined with Prize money but if it's an online set battle, One would have to pay items," Red said.

"But you didn't collect Prize money from the scumbag trainer yesterday?" Hannah asked.

Red winced.

"Let's not call him that, Let's say he's misguided and of course, There was a bet already between us before the start of the battle," Red said and Hannah nodded, "Right now, I organized a battle,"

"But what was the use?" Hannah asked.

Red playfully patted her head and smiled.

"I want to test the strength of my Pokemon," Red said, "And notice where we are standing? It's a grass arena, specially made for Pokemon battles in the park,"

Hannah looked down and then watched a trainer walk onto the opposite side, Her brown hair rustling in the wind as she wore a cap and a smile on her face.

"Green, Long time no see," Red said with a wave to the gray eyed girl.

"Same here, Red," Green said with a smile.

She still wore that black gown that reached her knees, further accentuating her beauty with an adorned necklace.

"It's been quite a while since you left Pallet town, Just decided to check where you were on your Trainer page and I found out you were in Pewter city," Red said, "Seems rather nice that you showed up for a battle... Of course, with the incentives I planted,"

Green rolled her eyes.

"Why did you leave?" Red asked.

"I wanted," Green said, "To prove that I was a better trainer and starting out earlier was better than waiting for you and Blue as well as the others to get their bearings together after New Year's day,"

"You got your dad worried," Red said but Green gave no reply.

"So are we gonna battle it out or not? And about the item you staked... You know, That high quality handbag from Silph. Co," Green said, "Was it a lie?"

"Nah," Red said, extending to Hannah's hand. Green looked at the girl and saw a black handbag, adorned with beautiful emeralds and spatial storage features... A truly must-have for all women but it cost a lot.

"A Two vs Two for it though," Red said and took a Pokeball from his waistband.

"You bet'cha," Green said and took out a Pokeball as well.

There was no referee but both trainers knew what to do... Throwing their Pokeballs and summoning the combatants within to face against each other in a fierce contest of strength.

"Gastly!"

"Spearr!"

The both Pokemon let out their respective cries as Green smirked, Gastly's ghost type attacks wouldn't do any damage against Spearow.

"Gastly, Start with Ice Shard!" Red ordered, much to Green's surprise.

Gastly's eyes released a chilling glow as small shards of ice shot out of it's body, heading to Spearow.

"Spearow, Dodge them!" Green ordered.

Spearow narrowed it's eyes at the shards of Ice, It's Keen eye ability kicking in as the speed of the shards of ice seemed to slow down. Spearow extended it's wings and shot towards the shards, dodging each and every one of them with distinct agility.

Red wasn't surprised, A Pokemon's ability played a huge role in the battle. Of course, Charmeleon's ability was Blaze which activated and boosted the power of her Fire type moves to incredulous heights when it was below 50%.

"Don't let it get close to you, Shadow Sneak!"

"Strike before it moves, Use Air Slash!" Green gave the command.
