A small crater was generated as Riolu emerged, some scratches on her body but the glow shrouding her for a split second was unmistakable, She had leveled up. Right now, Riolu had reached LV. 11 and she seemed to be as powerful as ever.
Although Red didn't know what the draining feeling wasn't there anymore although Red couldn't quite feel what it was, He was sure it was some kind of energy in his body.
Brown sighed as he returned Magby and was about to bring his bag out. Red wasn't going to strip him of his items though, a lack of a single item and one could die in Viridian forest so he decided to take the mature approach and let Brown off with a stern warning.
…
Red was on a small route with thick grass, His Pokemon formation active as they clawed through the grass and bushes while occasionally meeting some wild Pokemon like Ekans and Rattata but this was the shortest route to the Gloom territory.
Pokemon in that territory were relatively friendly and wouldn't attack unneccessarily unlike Beedrill and the best part of it was that the Gloom and Beedrill were at a long lasting peace and for 5 years, No Beedrill had ever set foot in the Gloom territory.
Some trainers went into the Beedrill territory but one always went there in a group for better odds at survival. Even at that, Sometimes the trainers are completely wiped out and overwhelmed by Beedrill, even Charmeleon, a pure blooded Fire Pokemon would find it impossible to face a Hundred Beedrill... unless of course Charmeleon had an infinite reserve of energy to fuel it's Fire type attacks.
Hell an average Charizard would find it hard to fend off against a hundred of Beedrill let a lone a single Charmeleon.
…
As long as no Beedrill entered the Gloom territory, Red was relatively safe along with his Pokemon as he would engage in small battles with the Wild Pokemon there, It had only been a day and there was no need to push themselves that far but Red was absolutely psyched about increasing his team's power.
The Bug town gym was still in the back of his mind although he hadn't found a strong enough bug Pokemon that he could train to the level he wanted.
"Beedrill!" Red suddenly heard as ten Beedrill suddenly surrounded his squad, Their angry cries echoed around causing wild Pokemon to seek shelter.
Red didn't understand, The route to the Gloom territory was supposed to be devoid of Beedrill as it was also a part of the Gloom territory, the fact that he can see 10 fully grown Beedrill here only means one thing...
The treaty had been terminated.
…
[Flashback- 10 Minutes Ago]
A blond haired girl ran as fast as she could, her face muddy and her legs tired but the fear of getting caught by the man eating beasts called Beedrill filled her entire body with adrenaline.
Her long blond hair shone in the afternoon sun as she jumped over a small ledge and raced to the right, The sounds of wings filled her ears as she sped up even more, her legs aching even more now. Her speed slowed and a Beedrill caught up, swinging it's drill forward, aiming to impale the girl through the head but a green aura erupted from the ground and a vine shot out, obstructing Beedrill's attack.
The Beedrill widened their eyes in shock as a Gloom had obstructed their attack, The Gloom pointed to the line on the ground and stared down Beedrill.
It had helped the girl because she had been so friendly to it all those years ago and it was repaying a favor but Beedrill was also violating their treaty.
A set of wings fluttered above all Beedrill as a Beedrill twice the size of a regular Beedrill flew above the rest, her eyes glowing, her unbridled rage flashing through her reddened eyes as she was prepared to violate the treaty to get what was her's back.
Her beautiful child had been kidnapped by that girl and she was prepared to even sacrifice the lives of her loyal subjects to get that egg back.
…
And that was how the treaty was broken resulting in a mass scale war between the Gloom and Beedrill. Red's Pokemon had already taken care of their adversaries with relative ease after learning their weakness.
"The only relatively safe place in the Forest has become a battlefield," Red muttered, his eyes fixated on the fire that rose into the air.
How the hell did a war between Pokemon that weren't close to the Fire typing result in an explosion?
A girl burst through the bushes, behind her was a massive Behemoth of a Beedrill, It's stingers glowing in a brilliant red light which Red recognized as Fury Attack.
Red sprung to his feet, ignoring the cries of his Pokemon... Something pushed him to save the girl in front of him, Was it because of how pretty she was? Red doubted it, He wasn't a simp... No, Something else in the Forest was resonating with his heart to save the girl... or maybe it was the Forest itself.
Yellow turned around, seeing the large needle ready to impale her at any minute but suddenly she and the egg she was holding was shoved aside by a boy with crimson eyes and black hair, His eyes glowing as they were fueled by the eerie power of the Forest.
Red's entire body was filled with aura instead of adrenaline but he didn't know that, It was the feeling that was powering him up... That exhilirating feeling of gaining even more power... Red was addicted to it...
The drill penetrated his palm but soon stopped, The attack unable to push deeper into his hands and a small wail of grief erupted from Beedrill, Red's eyes glowed with more intensity as he stared right into Beedrill's redenned eyes and frowned.
"Leave the girl alone," Red's voice sounded filled with rage, like his heart was ready to burst at any moment, "The egg is in good hands,"
Before Beedrill could even respond, She was knocked back by a powerful punch filled with explosive aura to the gut, Veins bulging around her eyes as she was sent flying into a tree.
"Okay?"

Author's Note:-
The second appearance of Red actively using Aura in the book and hey I'm liking this but I can't make him too overpowered...
