A few minutes later:

"Stop there and open your eyes." After a few minutes of moving slowly on a path with many turns, it looks like we have finally arrived at our destination.

Opening my eyes, I looked around to see us standing in a large white hall with a huge table in front of us and a bunch of briefcases sitting on top. "The Pokemon are probably in there.'

This time I looked at the twins more carefully and realised that both of them looked like each other, but there was one definite difference: Aurora had blue eyes, whereas Abigail had green. 'They are more cute looking closely.'

"That's a lot of corridors." Hearing Aurora's words, I looked towards her, and following her gaze, I could see almost five corridors with numbers above them, which were labelled 51–60, 61–70, and so on up to 100.

"On this side too, there are more corridors behind us." Looking towards where Abigail was pointing, I could see five more corridors towards the right side with labels of the remaining numbers above them; however, the three corridors behind us had different labels, unlike the rest.

"Training, healing, and arenas... with corridors with numbers above them, maybe..." Connecting the dots, I kind of realised what those numbers above the corridors imply: 'Well, I am too deep in this shit to back out now; well, there was never an option to back out.'

"It looks like what I gathered was true, and we have to stay with rocket chumps for a few weeks." I was pleasantly surprised by Abigail's words, as I didn't expect her to gather information before doing all this: 'So this is some sort of training camp, and the rocket team here is somewhat competent, if I have to say so.'

"Oh, really, I didn't know that, so what else do you know?" Both of the twins looked at me with surprised faces as I said something they didn't expect at all.

"Wait, you don't know? I thought you were the same as Aurora."

"Nope, honestly, I know almost nothing about this whole scenario; I just joined because I found it interesting, and as you know, I don't like interacting with others." I mean, it's tough to know anything if I just landed in this world a few hours ago, but luckily I have a convenient lie prepared according to my personality, which I described earlier.

"Oh, you are more reckless than I expected, and the funny thing is that I was going to do the same if Aurora hadn't said to do some investigating."

"Oh really? Well, Aurora is a smart girl." When I turned towards her after praising her, I could see her cheeks turning slightly red as she tried to look away from me.

'And I should stop overestimating her in brain departments.' As I looked back at Abigail, she looked at me with her head tilted and then let out a smile. Looking at her face, I couldn't help but let out a chuckle, but suddenly I heard Aurora taking some deep breaths behind me.

"Thanks for the praise, but be careful next time as recklessly making big decisions like these can be problematic and lead to lots of bad scenarios, so be careful."

"Yeah, that's true. I can be somewhat reckless, but next time I have you with me so I don't have to worry much." When I tried to calm her down, she suddenly turned around and covered her face, but I could see her ears getting a little red. 'I was not even trying to flirt with her.'

Surprised by her reaction, I realised that I should be careful with my words while talking to her from now on, as my face and my words can be a deadly combo.

"Oh, you're after my sister, aren't you?" But you have to pass through me to get her." Suddenly Abigail put her hands on my shoulder and started saying weird things with a smug smile on her face, and before I could say anything, we heard a small cough from the table area.

"Enough looking around; now go line up according to the number tags you were given earlier, and it should be a line of five rows containing 20 kids in each line." After hearing his order, all the kids around us started to scramble around to form a line, saying, "Uh... where is my number tag?"

"Oh, see you later then, as our number is pretty early; hey, let's go." Abigail then took Aurora's hand and started dragging her towards the first line. While being dragged, Aurora looked at me and waved slightly.

Waving back at her after she disappeared in the crowd, I stood there thinking, without any direction to go as I didn't get anything such as a number tag, 'Really been making bad decisions since I have been in this world, haven't I?'

"Oh yeah! That guy." I suddenly remembered Zack and looked around to find him, and he was just behind me, a few metres away, and surprisingly, he was looking at me with a shit-eating grin on his face.

'Don't tell me, this guy!' I somewhat understood why he was looking at me like that, and, shaking my head with a sigh, I started moving towards him.

"Oh hey there, kiddo, what brings you to me?" Even though he already knew what I was here for, he was pretending not to know anything, saying, 'This guy just gets on my nerves, and arguing with him will just lead me down a worse path.'

"Oh, just give me the number tag, 'cause we both know what I was here for." With an annoyed tone, I just extended my hands towards him so I could stop dealing with him.

"Aye, kiddo, no need to get that angry. Here I have this, and it was just a little prank."

"Yeah, yeah, whatever you say." Looking at the number tag, I was a little surprised that it was 100, but I got over it pretty quickly, and ignoring Zack, I moved towards my line.

"Oh, hey kiddo, good luck with getting one of the special Pokemon."

'Special Pokemon? What could that mean?' Mulling over his words, I tried to think about what special pokemon he was referring to, but I could not reach any conclusive answer. 'I guess I just have to wait.'
