EPISODE 133: The Key to Success!

<Maw! Maw!>Mawile cried after seeing my body, resting in my tent. After problems with team Chaos' absurd goals, Hemera, the former aquatic commander of team Chaos, has resigned. Now, new beginnings and a new life starts for Hemera and her Pokemons!

Three days have passed, and my body has been fully recovered. I felt better and stronger after that three-day nap! It's time to move to Enju town, fun fact? Enju means Ecruteak in English. It is a city found in the Johto region, famous for the bell tower. Enju town and Ecruteak city have the same festival, Festival of the Beasts!

<Maw! Maw!>Mawile smiled at me while I hugged her with my bare hands. Mawile hates to walk, just like Riolu... I can't say no to a cute Pokemon! Route thirty-three, we've almost arrived at Enju town. Just two more routes and we'll be there.

<Bzz! Bzz! Bzz!>Our Rotom-phones alarmed and vibrated loudly. It's either, someone is calling us or there are upcoming news report.

"Looks like there's a new report," Glade uttered softly while checking his Rotom-phone.

"Good afternoon Pokefans and trainers! I am Ronelle from the PLC cooperation. Six months remain before the grand Pokemon League of the Laurenburg region starts, so mark your calendars of February 10 it's a day not to be missed! This announcement is brought to you by the PLC cooperation."

"That's it... just a reminder?" Zhery uttered with shock.

"February 10... That's one day before my birthday." I acquiesced to myself with my eyes wide open.

"Well... well... well... look who we have here! It's no other than the Tauros champ!" A young girl with a violet hair called from a distance while she walks forward silently.

"If it isn't Alexa!" Camellia's mood suddenly changed after seeing Alexa's grim smile.

"So? You're on your way to Enju city aren't you?" Alexa questioned.

"Yup! We're going to take part in the Festival of the beasts!" I beamed with excitement.

"Festivals are for kids like the four of you! Stop wasting my time, I'm on my way to Fantasma city!" Alexa exclaimed as she passes right through us. Alexa made her own way and pushed Camellia's shoulder.

"You've angered me for the last time Alexa! Come at me, I want to battle you." Camellia infuriated.

"Nah... you'll just lose, I don't want to embarrass you in front of your friends especially in front of Kalem right?" Alexa laughed and smiled with a mocking face.

"Coward!" Camellia teased.

"What did you say!?"

"Coward! You're afraid to lose, that's why you don't want to battle my Pokemons!" Camellia winked and teased.

"Listen here you little... Fine! I accept your challenge. A three on three, tag battle!" Alexa demanded.

"A tag battle? Who's your partner? A ghost?" Camellia teased.

"You! The boy with the white hair, you're with me!"

"Hey! I have a name you know." Glade infuriated.

"Great! I'll partner up with Camellia then." I beamed with excitement and determination.

Camellia face turned into a worried one, as sweat fell off her face.

"What's so worrying Camellia? Scared to let Kalem down?" Alexa teased and laughed.

"Hmph! Let's just battle and I'll show you." Camellia beamed with anger and frustration.

"I guess that means I'm the referee. Besides, no one wants to team up with me cause I'm too overpowered." Zhery teased.

"Shut up blue hair! I'll battle you next." Alexa mocked.

"No problem, when you lose don't cry!" Zhery teased and laughed. Zhery and Alexa are both great teasers.

"We've got this Camellia, there's no need to be worried!" I comforted and cheered.

"This will be a tag battle between Kalem and Camellia against Glade and Alexa! Each shall use three Pokemons, which sums up to a total of six!" Zhery announced.

"But wait... each must first decide on a team name!" Zhery instructed.

"A team name!?" All of us exclaimed and beamed with astonishment.

"Yes, you know? Like team water or team fire and stuff like that! It's more fun that way."

"No it isn't, it's hard to think of nicknames!" Alexa infuriated.

"Team names sound fun! I want to think of one." I beamed with excitement.

"I can't think of any nicknames," Glade complained.

"Oh fine! That's it, I'll decide the nickname instead. Glade and Alexa would be Team Valor! While Camellia and Kalem would be team Kamellia!" Zhery teased.

"Just you wait, I'll get you back next time!" Camellia infuriated.

"I was just joking, you and Kalem will be team Mystic!"

"Now that's call plagiarism!" I teased.

"I know, just stick to it! I'm running out of names anyways. The battle between Team Valor and Team Mystic is about to begin!" Zhery announced.

"Please send out your first Pokemon!" Zhery instructed.

"Ivysaur, let's keep things simple shall we?"

"Let the battle begin! Substitution is allowed!"

*Zoroark dodged the flamethrower! Ivysaur was pulled directly to Zoroark!*

"Now kick Ivysaur back then use Night daze on Simisage!"

<IVY!>Ivysaur bounced back to Alexa while Simisage was hit with Night Daze!

"Camellia stop being amazed and attack!" Zhery shouted and instructed.

"Right! Absol, use shadow claw on Ivysaur!"

"Ivysaur use Sleep Powder on Absol!"

"Zoroark throw the rock to Ivysaur's bulb-like thingy!"

*Ivysaur's bulb was sealed off! The sleep powder exploaded inside Ivysaur which made Ivysaur asleep!*

"Great Zoroark, now use Night slash on Ivysaur!"

"Absol, attack Ivysaur too with Shadow Pulse!"

"Glade and Alexa aren't in sync. If they keep this up Kalem and Camellia will win easily." Zhery uttered to her mind while observing the battle.

"What was that Alexa!?"

"Don't blame me white hair! Your monkey didn't protect my Ivysaur!"

*Alexa and Glade started to argue over their past decisions.*

"Simisage, use Fire punch on Absol!"

"Ivysaur wake up now!"

"Zoroark, hit Simisage's leg!"

<Zorr! Zorr! Zoroark!>

*Simisage tripped on the ground!*

"Now follow it up with Shadow Claw Absol!"

"We could've won if your Simisage punched the rock Zoroark threw!"

*Ties between Glade and Alexa has intensified!*

"Zoroark, you did a good job, Gardevoir I need you now!"

"Absol take a nice rest, Eevee it's your turn to fight!"

<Eev! Eev!><Gard! Gard!>Both Pokemons beamed with determination.

"Electabuzz dazzle time!"

"Wartortle, your turn!"

"Battle Continue!"

"Electabuzz use thunder punch on Gardevoir!"

"Wartortle, use Water pulse on Gardevoir!"

"Gardevoir dodge the attack then use Extrasensory on Wartortle!"

"Eevee, use Swift on Electabuzz!"

*Gardevoir teleported behind Wartortle! On the other hand, Electabuzz was badly damaged with swift!*

"Gardevoir, use Psychic on Electabuzz and bang his head on Wartortle's head!"

"Tee hee, leave it to me!" Gardevoir charmed and lifted Electabuzz to the sky.

Electabuzz banged his head on Wartortle's head, which angered the both of them. Wartortle and Electabuzz began to fight while I and Camellia watched them fainting each other.

Eevee couldn't stop lauging at Electabuzz and Wartortle. Gardevoir and Eevee played together while Alexa and Glade fought.

Eevee's laughter caused her to glow brightly. Long ribbons began to grow behind her, while her ears stood up straight. Eevee evolved into a cutie, it had a pink ear and pink ribbons surrounded her elegance.

"Eevee you evolved into Sylveon! Great Job!" Camellia complimented.

"Wartortle and Electabuzz fainted themselves! Please choose your last Pokemons team Valor!" Zhery instructed.

"Hmph! Come out Magmar!"

"Luxray, thunder strike!"

"Gardevoir thanks, return to your Pokeball. It's Mawile's turn to fight!"

"Sylveon, you deserve a good lunch later, it's Flabebe's turn to fight!"

"Mawile, use fire fang on Luxray!"

"Flabebe use Razor leaf on-"

"Never mind I guess..." Camellia beamed while trying to control her laughter.

"Luxray use thunder fang on Magmar!"

"Flame thrower on Luxray!"

Luxray and Magmar fought again as the ties between Glade and Alexa strengthen. Me and Camellia had no choice but to watch the both of them fight for glory. They lack teamwork, which is the key to success in Pokemon tag battles.

<Mawile! Maw!><Flabebe!>Both of our Pokemons decided to play and socialize with each other while Alexa and Glade fought until the end. Flabebe started to glow, as her posture and looks started to change.

<Flo! Floette! Floette!>Flabebe evolved into Floette while playing with Mawile. I was expecting Mawile to train today, but Alexa and Glade had plans of their own.

"Two evolved Pokemons in one day? Alexa and Glade are sure entertaining." I beamed with joy and excitement while trying to hold my laughter.

"Great work Flabebe! Now I can do more research on you!" Camellia complimented. Floette, was clinging to a white fairy flower... it is one of the rarest fairy flower ever to be seen by mankind.

"The winner is team Mystic! Congratulations team Valor, all your Pokemons fought against each other!" Zhery uttered sarcastically.

"This defeat is not counted! Your friend over here is a stubborn one. I'll be going to Fantasma city now!" Alexa beamed with frustration and raged quit in front of all of us.

"It looks like the sun is about to set, we'll set up camp here for now," Zhery suggested.

"I'm tired of holding my laughter, you and Alexa were amazing Glade!" I teased.

"Alexa made me lose! That doesn't count as my defeat." Glade beamed with frustration.

"You know what they say, opposites attract!" Zhery charmed and teased.

I and Glade started to set up the tents while Zhery and Camellia began to cook spicy apple curry in front of the setting sun. The moon was starting to rise, as our day comes to an end.

"You and Kalem make a pretty good team." Zhery complimented while helping Camellia cook. Camellia turned speechless as her two cheeks slowly blushed.

Enju town is right ahead! New days are awaiting to begin, as the our journey continues!
