EPISODE 120: Green-Themed Evolution!

"Kalem! Wake up, it's time for breakfast." Camellia smiled and knocked on my room. It's eight in the morning, the usual time I wake up.

"Kalem? Are you there?" Camellia queried. She continued to knock on my door.

"Kalem, are you alright?" Camellia queried. She started to become worried and knocked on the door harder.

"That's weird. Kalem? Kalem?" Camellia called again.

She decided to see if the door was open. She twisted the doorknob slowly and found out that my room was open after all.

"Kalem?" Camellia queried while slowly entering my room. There was no presence of life, the bed was neat and clean. The mirror was shining, and my stuff was organized.

Camellia saw a small brown envelope on my bed. She slowly walked towards it with confusion and worry.

"Where did Kalem go?" Camellia queried as she sat slowly on my bed. Her head was filled with worries and questions, as her hands slowly held the brown envelope.

Camellia opened the tip of the brown envelope and saw a folded piece of bond paper inside. Her hands unfolded the piece of paper, and a short note was revealed.

"Whoever may read this letter,

So, you're probably wondering why I'm not here now, and you probably called me to eat breakfast. I'm here to say, that I'm doing fine. Me and Riolu woke up early, today we'll be training hard for my battle against Zedrick. I will spend my whole day in the mountain, just me and my Pokemons and no one else. I'll train and work with my Pokemons. I will be returning late in the evening once my training is complete.

With regards,

Kalem..." Camellia uttered softly while reading the letter I've made for my friends or for my cousin. Me and Riolu woke up at around six in the morning, to train with my Pokemons. Who knows what we could encounter in the mountains?

"Hey Camellia, have you seen Kalem?" Zhery queried while slowly stepping inside my room.

"Sadly no, Kalem wrote a letter for us, look," Camellia uttered softly and gave the letter to Zhery.

"So Kalem is planning to train alone, that's a bummer. I was going to challenge him today." Zhery uttered with disappointment.

"Come on, let's tell Glade about Kalem's letter." Camellia stood up from my bed and suggested.

Zhery and Camellia went out of my room, they made sure that the room was locked. I won't be spending the day with my friends today, I want to train alone in the mountain, just me and my Pokemons.

In the meantime, Kira planned to stay with his father at Fantasma city until my match against her father is finished. She wanted to watch her father battle, a Ketsueki against a Ketsueki.

"Father? Father?" Kira uttered gently while roaming her house.

"Oh good morning Kira, you must be looking for your father huh?" Murdock guessed while entering their old fashioned Japanese house.

"Yes, I wish to speak to him today,," Kira uttered with a gentle voice.

"Sad to say, but your father went to the mountains to train with his Pokemons for his match against Kalem tomorrow." Murdock explained.

"Oh, I see. I'll be seeing Kalem and his friends instead." Kira uttered gently as she slowly went out of the house.

"Sure, no problem. Just don't cause any trouble." Murdock uttered and ordered.

"Don't worry Murdock, I won't do such balderdash." Kira smiled and left the house quickly.

-----------------------------------------------------------------

"Thanks professor, Treecko is with me, is Shuppet there?"

"Yup, Shuppet is doing fine! Good luck tomorrow, you'll need it!"

"Thanks professor, I'll be going now!"

<Match call ended>

First thing in the morning, was to train with Treecko. Treecko is a grass type, which can be handy dandy against Zedrick's Greninja. Shuppet will be staying in dome fourteen for awhile. I plan to use Riolu, Zoroark, and Treecko.

"Alright Riolu, let's do some training!" I beamed with excitement and determination.

"About our lunch and dinner Kalem?" Riolu reminded while clinging on my shoulder.

"Don't worry, I bought some home-cooked meal before we left. Let's go to the mountain Riolu."

"Actually, we're already in the mountain right?"

"You have a point, let's go to a nearby forest instead."

"Forests sounds fun! Let's go Kalem!" Riolu beamed with excitement and determination.

Fantasma does not only lie in the mountains, but also has a forest surrounding it. Trees with frozen leaves and logs adds an extra touch to a winter scenery.

"Treecko, come on out!" Treecko's Pokeball was tossed to the sky!

"Finally, some training!" Treecko beamed with determination.

"Yup, we're going to boost your strength to the max! Now use razor leaf on that rock!" I beamed with excitement.

<Treecko! Treeck!>The Pokemon unleashed an attack, but only scratched the rock.

"It... just scratched the rock..." Riolu uttered with disappointment.

"I know, Treecko will get stronger! Don't worry. Treecko, use razor leaf again!"

<Treeck! Treecko!>The Pokemon unleashed the attack with full determination. It was able to break off a shard.

"Great, you're getting stronger Treecko, now let's battle Riolu shall we?" I uttered with excitement.

"Battle me? But don't I belong to you?"

"Yeah I know, just for practice. For now, you'll be Treecko's rival! I'll be commanding Treecko!"

"But I don't want to be enemies. We're buddies Kalem!" Riolu uttered with worry.

"I know, it's just for one match Riolu! So saddle up and prepare to fight!"

<Treecko!>The Pokemon beamed with excitement.

"Fine... but just this once!"

Riolu[300]

Treecko[300]

"Alright Treecko, use energy ball!"

*Riolu dodged the attack!*

Riolu used force palm!

"Quick Treecko, send Riolu back with razor leaf!"

<Tree!>The Pokemon uttered with determination while glaring at Riolu! Riolu was sent back due to razor leaf.

Riolu[200]

Treecko[300]

"Treecko, now use energy ball!"

*Riolu dodged the attack again!*

Riolu used seismic toss! Treecko was thrown to the sky!

Riolu[200]

Treecko[200]

"We ain't done yet, use quick attack Treecko!"

*Riolu intercepted with quick attack!*

Both Pokemons pushed each other, it's only a matter of brute strength which would determine the winner.

"Go Treecko, you can do this! Push Riolu!"

<Treecko! Treecko!>The Pokemon tried to push Riolu with all his might.

Riolu in the other hand, wass pushing Treecko with ease. Treecko clung hard to the ground, which made him stand firm.

"Um Kalem, is this normal? Treecko's eyes are turning red." Riolu uttered with worry and fear.

"Probably, keep it up Treecko!" I cheered loudly.

"Hey, you know we're friends right Treecko?"

"We're enemies Riolu, for now at least!" Treecko uttered and pushed Riolu!

My buddy blasted back to a tree.

Riolu[100]

Treecko[200]

"Great work Treecko! Keep it up!"

"Kalem, Treecko's eyes are red!" Riolu warned.

"Fine by me, now use energy ball Treecko!"

"What!?" Riolu uttered with shock!

*Energy ball dealt a critical hit!*

Riolu[0]

Treecko[200]

"Good work Treecko!" I beamed with excitement and complimented. Treecko was hopping around with joy, as his eyes turned even red than before.

Riolu was able to stand back up again, but he was scared of Treecko's red eyes.

<Treecko! Treecko!>The Pokemon jumped with joy as a white veil slowly surrounded him.

"Treecko, are you alright?" I queried with worry.

>Treecko! Treecko!>The Pokemon continued to hop with joy as it slowly got taller. A blade formed in each hand, and Treecko's tail was getting longer/

"Great Treecko! You're evolving!" I beamed with excitement and joy!

<Treecko! Treecko! Gro... Grovyle!" The Pokemon uttered with determination.

"Nice work, you're now a Grovyle! Irys, data please."

[No problem Kalem. Grovyle is the evolved form of Treecko. It is also known as the wood gecko Pokemon. Leaves grow out of this POKéMON's body. They help obscure a GROVYLE from the eyes of its enemies while it is in a thickly overgrown forest.

Grovyle currently knows four moves:

-Leaf Storm

-Leaf Blade

-Iron Tail

-Grass Knot]

"Thanks for the information Irys! Come here Grovyle!" I beamed with excitement and hugged Grovyle tightly.

"Great, now you have a new favorite Pokemon," Riolu uttered with jealousy.

"Riolu, I treat all of you fairly, so there's no need to be jealous," I uttered while playing with Riolu's chin.

Thanks to Riolu's participation, Treecko was able to grow stronger and bulkier, and eventually? He finally evolved into Grovyle! A fierce looking Pokemon, with four awsome moves! Now, it's time to continue training, I'm still far from achieving greatness.

As the journey continues...
