Chapter 3: Pokémon Rising Volt

After capturing an emerald aura weedle and seeing its information, I started to hear the swarm of beedrills coming back. Quickly grabbing the ultra-ball off the ground, I hid behind the trees again, waiting for them to pass once again.

Troy said to himself, my god, I'm lucky to find an emerald talent weedle on the outer edge of the forest."

Soon, I started to walk back to the orphanage with my soon-to-be partner. Of course, I can't just have command over it by capturing it; I need to gain its trust, which should be easy as it seems to be a newborn weedle.

While at the orphanage, I saw a couple of kids who were a part of the orphanage going into a strange building.

Curiosity is getting to I soon followed them, only to find out that they disappeared inside, not knowing where they went. I soon turned around to bump into a man in black with a big red R on his chest. Well, what do we have here? Some kid sneaking around in a building he shouldn't be near."

Not knowing what to do, I tried to act like I was lost. "My bad, mister, I was just wondering what my seniors were doing and I suddenly lost them. Well, why don't I show you the way out?

Soon a fist had gone into my stomach, sending me rolling to the floor. While I was about to get back up, a leg swinging in front of me sent a barrage of kicks to my body: Try to lie to me, you little shit," while still kicking me for the next.

5 minutes later, Troy had been outside the building, all beaten up, with blood coming out of his nose and mouth. Soon, a single thought came to his mind: 'I must get stronger, so I don't get beaten like that again as a person and a trainer.

Later, returning to the orphanage, where no one seemed to care how I looked like it was a normal everyday thing, I returned to my room only to see my roommate not there anymore. He must have joined Team Rocket."

Once in my room, I sent out my weedle, who looked around curiously at its new environment and said, "Hey weedle, my name's Troy, and I want you to be my first Pokémon. What do you say? Weedle looked like it was considering whether to accept my offer, knowing it might refuse. I had bought Pokémon Bug Food with the remaining 50 poke dollars.

Weedle, seeing the bug food, accepted it without hesitation, "so I can take your answer for a yes."

Alright, now that I finally have Pokémon, I'll need to start planning out what to do, with the bug food only lasting for a week. I'll need to find a way to make money fast because training a Pokémon requires resources, and I need to train its moves to be mastered.
