1 the start of my new adventure.

I opened my eyes to the stars of the galaxy, floating in space, the cold embracing me ever so tightly, I couldn't move, I couldnt breath,  My lungs tightened though it didn't pain me, it was very uncomfortable.

'I can't breathe,' I thought, my mind hazy and my body numb to anything but the cold.

Millions of stars shining right before my eyes as I start to lose consciousness, though one star in particular stood out to me. It gets closer the more my thoughts drift away, becoming blind to the elements around me, I go into a deep slumber….

_________

"Aww he's finally waking up!" I heard a voice, soft and gentle, kind and pure.

The warmth of someone holding me tight to their bodies, a warmth I hadn't felt in a while, I opened my eyes to see a beautiful woman with black hair and marine blue eyes, her smile soft and warm.

" Your name from now on will be...Ayuna." She uttered, rocking me from side to side.

Though I have no memory of my past, I can't help but feel like something's missing, I had so many questions bottled up within me.

'Who was that, that thing that approached me.' I thought to myself, my mind wandering as the woman who seemed to be my mother cradled my infant body, singing sweet songs in my ear

________

Two years have passed since that moment and I'm already causing mischief like any two year old would.

"Hey Ayuna, put that down!" My mother called out to me, seeing I had just picked up a knife from the kitchen.

Ever since I was little I was attracted to climbing, I don't know why, it just felt right.

"gotcha!" my mom scooped me from the table to take the knife out of my hand.

"You sure do like climbing don't you?" She teased tickling my stomach with her finger before putting the knife down on the table. I yawned.

"sounds like someone's sleepy." my mother chuckled to herself putting me to bed, my marine blue eyes slowly drifting off into a deep slumber.

_____

"oh, neat scarf!" I shouted, in excitement, I was 5 at the time, looking through the basement out of boredom.

My mom walked in on me trying it on, her eyes welling up with tears of joy, covering her mouth at the sight of me.

"You look just like your father when he was a Pokemon trainer!" She smiled widely holding a mirror up to me so I could see how I look.

I checked myself out in the mirror, my hands running through the white scarf on my neck with hints of blue at the tail.

I smiled, liking how it looked on me, but I couldn't help but wonder what a pokemon was. Our town is small, not many people  live here either, just old folks and little kids. We never really left the town for anything since it had all that we needed.

"oh, would you look at the time? It's time for your first day of Pokemon school."

I looked at her even more confused, both from the reference of a school and at the convenient timing, in any cases I guess i'm about to find out.
