Chapter-36:Fuchsia gym part-1

3rd POV

"So, you are from a gym battle....but that doesn't excuse me from being that harsh on my sister...Aya you really have to learn a lot. You still haven't mastered the art of being a ninja yet " Koga replied while putting a finger on his nose.

"If my guess is true, then you would be Koga, the gym leader of Fuchsia city, " Erika asked him

"My brother is the Gym Leader of this town. I'm training to use Poison Pokémon as well as my Brother." Aya told them while wiping off tears from her face.

"Despair to the creeping horror of my Poison-type Pokémon!" Koga announced.

While a bunch of voltorbs suddenly appeared from under the floorboard.

"You said you are Poison-type gym leader....but why do you have voltorbs " Erika asked him.

"A ninja doesn't use a single trick to make opponents read them easily.....A proper master will use various methods to trap the opponents within their gaze " Koga exclaimed.

"A gym leader need not to use the same type of pokemon in battle....but he should at least represent a pokemon type in order to run in a gym, "Kenta told them.

"Thanks for the information, I don't feel much sleepy when you don't spread your philosophy....like you did last time, " Erika told him while yawing with a sleepy tone.

"Do you have narcolepsy, Erika...I have heard you were quite a napper...Of course, those are anything but rumors. " Koga asked her.

"It's nothing l-like that...Being around plants make you quite sleepy due to the spores you respire, and the plants make you feel comfy and it will make your mind feel relaxed enough to sleep comfortably....And I nap, as it is good for health and it makes... " Erika told him while stopping for a while.

"I-It for my b-beauty sleep " Erika finished with embarrassment.

"Oh!. I thought you have medical issues but it seems you are just lazy and an irresponsible gym leader" Koga told her without any expression on his face.

"WHAT? What can you say about me like that? " Erika told him quite being offended by it.

"Enough chatter.....I have decided to challenge you for the soul badge, Koga...Let's battle right now... " Kenta told him with eagerness.

"You are quite impatient...although youngsters like you are always hot-headed for their own good.....you people won't realize the mistakes you commit due to your impulsiveness, " Koga told him.

"Aya...Be the referee for our duel....and watch me as I will pay him back....for what he did to you " Koga said while pointing at Kenta.

"Hey...You are just picking up at him unnecessarily. That's uncalled for a proper gym leader" Erika told him.

"I am not very fond when people pick up on my family either...I will crush his arrogance and show him how crushing a defeat is " Koga said with determination and confidence to defeat Kenta.

"We will see, who has overconfidence in a battle, " Kenta told him.

"How typical " Erika commented.

"Brother...You don't need to fight with him...just leave it, I got over with it " Aya pleaded with him.

"Aya...Shut up...and your only job is to be a fair referee in this duel " Koga told to her strictly...

Koga and Kenta have shifted towards the battle arena surrounded by hidden walls and booby traps. Erika has decided to watch them in the audience booth.

"The whole arena is surrounded by unpredictable traps....and watch out and avoid ramming your pokemon to the hidden walls....they are rock-solid, " Koga told them.

"[We have to watch for traps and the wall] " Charmeleon told them.

"[Traps? What kind of traps....and why we are discussing about Rahul dravid] " Pikachu as usual is speaking in the language of gods.

"GO...Venonat " Koga revealed a Venonat which is indeed strong, compared to the normal ones.

"Go...charmeleon " Kenta called out Charmeleon

"[I am fired up for this challenge, master....Let's beat him] " Charmeleon said.

"Charmelon use smoke screen to figure out the hidden walls...the area without the smoke are the places where the hidden walls are in it, " Kenta told him.

"Venonat, use Gust to clear the smoke... " Koga commanded Venonat.

Venonat used gust to clear out the smoke charmeleon has produced in no dime and the gas quickly diffused in no time...

"[Ok....but I have memorized the locations of where the walls...but it is not that efficient master..] " Charmeleon told Kenta.

"It's ok...try to move carefully....there are traps on the ground " Kenta told Charmeleon.

"Venonat....Use stun spore to paralyze Charmeleon " Koga commanded Venonat.

"Charmeleon...Counter it with smoke screen. Koga can't wipe out our smoke without wiping his stun spore.... an eye for an eye. " Kenta commanded charmeleon.

Unfortunately....Venonat's stun spore passed through the hidden walls and it paralyzed the charmeleon...

"How it is possible....you say that the wall is rock solid " Kenta told him questioning how powder can pass through walls.

"They are porous and powders can pass through the walls " Koga explained to him with a serious expression.

"Isn't that a bit unfair...considering your pokemon have a clear advantage and their moves can work well in walls?" Erika asked him.

"Well, that's the point, a gym leader can create the field according to his convenience....there is a rule in the pokemon league book that supports my point, " Koga told her

"Oh! I guess that's true " Erika said.

"No wonder you don't understand the point...A lazy gym leader makes up excuses for almost everything...and they are not very good enough to be smart enough to win by themselves " Koga told him.

"Hey, that's uncalled for...You are a big hypocrite when it comes to your ideals. " Erika told him.

"Deal with it...Life is unfair....just because I implement rules doesn't mean I am the one who has the necessity to follow them, that's how it is " Koga told them with a serious tone.

Whatever Koga has told them is indeed true...that's how people

"Venonat...use gust...." Koga told to Venonat as he is not close to Charmeleon and he is at a clear disadvantage here.

Venonat has cleared up the stun spore when it has done its job...

"[Our poor form continues] " Pikachu said while rubbing its ears with irritation.

"We did pretty bad...and we started it very badly...but don't lose hope, now Charmeleon," Kenta told charmelon.

"[O-Ok maaster...But I f-feel like my legs are sore and my hands feel numb...I make my best to move..] " Charmeleon struggled for a while...

"Charmeleon break your pinky finger " Kenta commanded Charmeleon surprising both Koga and Erika...

"[Ok here we go]" Charmeleon replied and crushed his own pinky finger fiercely...and got snapped from the paralyzed effect.

"Breaking out from paralysis by breaking its own pinky finger...it has been a long time since someone other than Green has pulled such a stunt " Koga on the other reminisced his past

"We are prepared to fight....and how do you know about Green." Kenta told him.

"Old story " Koga replied to him while forming a small smile on his face
