30 Special Chapter 2 Pink Joy's Death.

The Special Chapter of Pink Joy should've been only 1 chapter, oh well.

It's currently 15 minutes away from New Year.

Pink Joy sadly was resting in a hospital bed in Viridian's City Pokecenter. Sitting next to her was her boyfriend Andrew, he's from Ecruteak City, Johto region. Of course, her Pokemon were out, all of which were worried excluding Daniel the Ambipom, who's currently being hated on for this reason.

<Death isn't the end. How many times do I have to say that> Daniel felt he really should stop wasting his breath on his friends otherwise he might die from stress.

<Papa we won't get to see master again> Risa said about to cry.

<Don't waste your time trying to explain this to love, little Risa. He has always been an insensitive person> Rataya tail patting Risa's head.

<That's really cruel of you Daniel> Feara shook her head.

<Gragragra, you even had Feara rebuking you> Kong laughed.

<Trap> Daniel muttered.

Meanwhile, Bull and Nurse Joy were in a corner drinking away their helplessness with Berry Juice given to them by Chan Chan. Who felt the biggest pain from seeing Pink like this wasn't her mother who felt the feeling of helplessness the most. It wasn't her boyfriend, whose tongue was bleeding from hard he has bit it.

It wasn't Risa who held back her tears while receiving comfort from her mother. It wasn't Feara who hid the pain away with a smile. Nor was it Chan Chan her first Pokemon, the Pokemon besides her since she was 5. It was her Toge her second Pokemon, a ball of sunshine that usually keeps everyone happy.

She had gotten Toge's egg as a gift from one of Joy family's elders.

Right now he was hidden underneath the bed and no one was able to get through to him, not even his love Chan Chan. Thanks to his mastery of emotions the feelings of despair that hit Pink hit him and the pain and helplessness he felt multiplied.

<Reincarnation is a thing, where do you think ghost types come from> Unfortunately one of the things Daniel is bad at was consoling others.

<Shut up!> Rataya, Kong, Risa, and Feara told him.

*sigh*

Daniel really didn't understand their anger. Shouldn't they be happy Pink will reincarnate? Shouldn't they be happy they'll reincarnate after death, possibly without memories but still?

"Is there anything you want before dying, if so I'll bring it over for you as quickly as I can?" Andrew said.

The glares that hit Andrew made his body shudder, followed by confusion. Did he say something wrong?

<insensitive> Daniel snickered.

"Give me Toge," she said hoarsely. Daniel quickly dived under the bed to get Toge out.

"Come Toge, Pink wants to see you,"

<You should talk to Pink while you still have the chance> Daniel announced.

<If you don't shut up, you'll taste my Comet Punch> Kong said annoyed.

After hearing what Daniel said, Toge flew towards Andrew allowing him to pick him up. Andrew took him out from under the bed and rest Toge on Pink's bosom. Resting on Pink, Toge was unsure of what to say, quietly he used Life Dew and Heal Bell on her, Life Dew being absorbed on contact with her skin.

"Sorry Toge, but I think time's up for me," Pink said with a weak smile, her hands wrapped around Toge. Toge feeling her care, began to cry.

With the dam breaking, others began to cry. Starting with Risa and followed by her mother, Andrew and Chan Chan. Kong, Bull, and Rataya although didn't collapse like the others, silently cried. While the Feara hid the sadness at the bottom of her heart and Daniel although sad was nowhere near so compared to the others.

"New Year is about to start, let's toast to a new year," Pink said.

Chan Chan quickly controlled her emotions and began to give the Pokemons berry juice, while Andrew got up and grabbed a bottle of wine and poured out cups for Pink, her mother, and himself. With everyone with a cup or a bowl beside them the countdown started.

"Pink,"

"No matter what,"

"I'll find,"

"And capture Ho-oh,"

"So don't worry,"

"I'll accomplish your dream,"

"And,"

"I'll use the power of Ho-oh,"

"To bring you back,"

"Even if it's the last thing I do,"

*bang*

Although this world lacks fireworks, Pokemon moves are a great substitute.

"Let's toast to a New Year," Bowls and cups raise.

<Toast to for a better life> Daniel murmured.

Everyone bottle down their drinks before turning their heads towards Pink. Seeing everyone staring at her, she sat up and drank down her wine.

"Done," With a smile on her face, her body slumped down onto the bed, never to wake up.

"Pink!" Nurse Joy shouted rushing over towards her.

Andrew stared at her body aghast, the illness wouldn't kill her like this. Looking at the cup in his hand, he felt guilty, the wine was alcohol-free.

Feara also reached a similar conclusion flew towards Andrew, using Drill Peck. Nurse Joy rushed in front of Andrew forcing Feara to stopped.

"This needs to be investigated, if it's found that he's guilty you can kill him," If not for order, Nurse Joy wouldn't stop Feara and might've even helped her. Although the Joy family is a peaceful family that doesn't mean they would allow others to mess with them, they've numerous trainers who would be willing to help them, just like the Jenny family.

Time passed and with no results from the investigation, Andrew was returned to Johto. Nurse Joy's mental health being unstable was sent back to headquarters. As for Pink's Pokemons, they split up.
