7 Confrontation 2

The two Pidgeottos surround Sera from opposite sides, using Wing Attack whenever they glimpse a safe opportunity. For how cautious they're acting one of them must have got hit by Counter. Sera's Iron Tail was almost always used whenever they attack.

In this battle, Sera has everything under control besides their ability to fly, which is pissing her off. It's strange how neither Pidgeottos are using moves like Gust, Air Cutter, and Air Slash.

Not answering me, fine. Thanks for the help, I guess. I will use this find to find the two Pidgeys. Twitching my nose as I activate Sense Smell, the distance isn't big but not useless either. You could say my sister is about 150 meters away from me based on that.

Rushing into the forest, I picked up the two Pidgey scents as well as... Kakunas... Hahaha.

I could work with that, it's only two of them on a branch. Are those two from a family or are they wanderers?

The two Pidgeys are on a branch left of me, but because they didn't look down, and my light steps, they didn't hear me. Level 6 and level 8, I should be able to one-shot the first one, and two-shot the other. Sinking my claws into the tree, I slowly climbed up and saw the two Pidgeys warily staring at the two Kakunas on another branch.

The Kakunas noticed me and showed a mocking smile at the Pidgeys. Sentient? Why is everything so difficult?

I used Tail Whip on the tree, catching their attention. As soon as their head face me I used Screech, shocking them. I quickly jumped onto the branch and used Last Resort, hitting the two Pidgeys. Those two blasts off the tree at the speed of light, hitting a tree before sliding off. Dead.

"Sentient?" I asked.

"Sentient," The two Kakunas answered.

"Willing to make a deal with me?"

Although itchy to backstab them, I won't. Facing Beedrill and facing a Pidgeotto are two different concepts. Even if we win, we would get poison, any berry Sera had left in her fur would have been destroyed during the battle, and it isn't guaranteed we would have a safe return, so no poison.

"What kind of deal?"

"I give you a dead Pidgeotto, and you need to use String Shot and Poison Sting on the two Pidgeotto's my sister is battling."

Although a Kakuna normally only eat berries, and even leaves, that's mainly because of their inability to properly fight in this form. Pidgeotto meat could last them a long while and based on my request I didn't ask them to evolve either.

Their gains would be, food, and exp, all for the price of effort.

"Alright," the green Kakuna said. The two Kakunas jumped off the tree.

Jumping off the tree I picked up both of the dead Pidgeys in my mouth and, walk forward. The two Kakunas' latch onto me with String Shot, allowing me to drag the lazy bastards forward.

Reaching back by the battlefield, I dropped the dead Pidgeys by the dead Pidgeotto.

"Since there's dead Rattata too, why not give it to us?" The green Kakuna asked.

"Brother a Pidgeotto is enough," The other Kakuna said, most definitely a female. He glared at his sister before staring back at me, awaiting my answer.

"If you want the Rattatas put in the effort."

"See, those Rattatas were not sentient," He explained to his sister.

"We'll handle one of the Pidgeottos," he said.

"That's a waste of time, just do what I said earlier," I retort. The battle would end as soon as the Pidgeottos are shot by String Shot.

"What about the Rattatas?"

"Do you think me and my sister will eat them? Let's kill them off quickly,"

Saying so, I rushed off using Quick Attack, the two Kakunas had already latched onto my back. Quickly after arriving, I prepared to use Screech, to attract the two Pidgeotto's attention. The Kakunas on my back was a step faster, by the time I had used Screech, the String Shot has already hit the Pidgeottos.

The String Shot hit their wing causing them to have difficulty flying and began to crash down. Sera had jumped at this time and slammed one down with Iron Tail, before shooting out Hyper Beam. Taking that shot I doubt he'll be getting back up, so I quickly rushed over to get the kill.

I could see Poison Stings being shot towards the other Pidgeotto on the ground, without being able to fly, he'll be taken care of in seconds.

Arriving over at the fainted Pidgeotto, I use Scratch, taking its head.

[Congratulations, host has leveled up]

Turning my head back to Sera, I could see that the other Pidgeotto was already killed.

This fight wasn't climatic. But that was expected, Sera would've won even without the help, the only delay was the Pidgeottos' ability to fly, which was slapped away by String Shot.

"Remember, this Pidgeotto, and the Rattatas are ours," The green Rattata states as he and his sister rolled off my back.

"Yes, yes I know,"

"You should quickly leave before our parents come looking for us," The female Kakuna said, ignoring her brother's glare.

Nope, that's enough fights for me, sister let's take our food and go home.

"Mike, let's go,"

With the two Pidgeottos in her mouth, she began to walk away. She must also be aware Beedrills will come for their child. Running over, and grabbing the two dead Pidgeys I joined her.

I gained 9 levels all for the price of my siblings. Good trade.

A couple of decades in the future.

Sitting on a throne was a teenage boy. He had spiky brown hair and wore a purple jacket, long black pants, and black shoes. Holding a Pokeball in his left hand, he smirked, reminiscing.

Bullying his childhood friend who couldn't talk was one of his most favorite memories. Remembering his first battle, beating his Charmander with his Squirtle and defeating it once more in Viridian Forest.

Then he lost to him in Cerulean City, one of his Pokemon even died in the battle. The start of his countless defeats.

'It doesn't matter now, I'm the Champion.' Blue thought.

Suddenly the door slammed open and a figure entered. The figure's hair was covered by the red hat on his head, he wore a red jacket opened out, revealing the black shirt underneath it, he wore long blue pants and red shoes.

"Red, you're late," Blue said jumping off his chair.

"I'm now Kanto's Champion, the same level as father,"

"..." Red pulled out a Pokeball from his pokebelt and point it a Blue.

As friends for 16 years, how could Blue not understand what he means?

"Don't compare me with those useless four, they can't even compare with a single Pokemon of mine?" Blue mocked him.

To Blue, the Elite Four needs some new blood, everyone there are too weak. it only took him 6 years to surpass them.

"..." From the ball, Poliwrath came out and its strength shocked Blue.

"Senior Champion, you really deserve to be my rival," Blue said, throwing out his Pokeball, a Machamp came out. Its strength is not inferior to Poliwrath's.

"But it won't be enough,"

"Let's get started," with a smile on his face, Blue began his first defending battle as Kanto's Champion,"
