2 One Sided Beating

The cup that Delia was holding slipped from her hands and shattered on the ground, Pikachu was rooted at his spot staring at Serena for a long time.

"Mrs. Ketchum! are you okay?" Seeing the shattered cup Serena stood up and checked Delia's hand and sighed in relief seeing that she wasn't injured.

Delia was still staring blankly at Serena and spoke in a soft voice, "Do you have any pictures of him?"

Serene shook her head and replied, "I don't have one but Dawn told me that Volkner the gym leader of the Sunnyshore gym said that it was Ash Ketchum from pallet town. he previously fought Ash couple years ago and surprisingly he still remembered him so that's how we knew."

Delia started tearing up and hugged Serena, "Thank god we finally found him! 5 years! 5 years of searching and I finally found him!"

Serena patted Delia's back and looked at Pikachu who was still at his spot she slowly moved towards Pikachu and picked him up.

"Why aren't you happy Pikachu? we now found Ash and you can reunite with him again. don't think about what happened in the past because I am sure that Ash will surely forgive you and the others." Serena said trying to comfort the little mouse.

Pikachu nodded absentmindedly and snuggled on Serena's embrace.

A few days ago, Sunnyshore Gym

Ash arrived in front of the gym, he looked at the familiar-looking gym and entered the gym.

As he reached the inner part of the gym Ash was greeted by a receptionist who asked him, "Dear trainer are you here to challenge Volkner the gym leader of the Sunnyshore Gym?"

Ash nodded and replied, "Yes"

The receptionist smiled and took out a phone to inform Volkner about the upcoming challenge. Ash was then brought to the battle arena where he saw Volkner already inside waiting for him.

Upon seeing his challenger Volkner's brows creased and was in deep thought he then looked at Ash again and exclaimed "Ah! you're Ash right?! Ash Ketchum from Pallet Town!"

Ash was taken aback seeing that Volkner still remembers him, he then smiled and nodded in acknowledgement, "Yes, you are correct I am Ash Ketchum from Pallet Town and I am here to challenge you."

Volkner who was shocked a second ago turned serious and replied "I accept your challenge, This battle will be a 2 on 2 pokemon match and only the challenger can change his pokemon during the battle."

Ash not wanting to dilly-dally took out a Pokeball, "Alakazam show them what you got."

"Alakazam!" Alakazam cheered and pointed his spoon at Volkner telling him to hurry up. Alakazam was really excited because his Master chose him to be the one to defeat all 8 gym leaders which made his seniors rage in jealousy.

Volkner looked at Alakazam and said while taking out a Pokeball, "Looks like I need to take this battle really seriously, Electivire get ready for battle!"

"Electivire!" Electivire roared.

"Electivire let's start things off with a full power Thunder Punch!"

Electivire dashed towards Alazakam with breakneck speed and punched towards his target.

"Alakazam, use teleport then follow it up with confusion."

As soon as Electivire's attack was about to reach Alakazam the latter instantly disappeared and reappeared above Electivire.

*Shnnng* Alakazam immediately used Confusion making Electivire wobble left and right.

Seeing his Electivire getting hit with Confusion Volkner commanded, "Electivire used Thunderpunch on yourself!"

But Volkner's command was deemed futile because Ash didn't gave Electivire a chance.

"Finish it with your own Thunderpunch."

"Alakazam!" Alakazam smirked and conjured a Thunderpunch on his right hand and punch Electivire straight on his forehead making him fell unconscious right away.

"Electivire is unable to continue the winner is Alakazam!"

Volkner retrieved Electivire and stared seriously at Ash, he then took out his last Pokeball and said, "Partner, let's show them what we got!"

"Rai! rai!"

As soon as Raichu appeared the entire gym suddenly turned cold, Alakazam glared at Raichu hatefully and suddenly attacked without even Ash's command.

Alakazam used teleport and conjured an Ice punch on both of his hands and let out a barrage of punches on the unprepared Raichu.

Volkner was caught off guard at Alakazam's outburst and immediately told Raichu to dodge, but Raichu wasn't fast enough and was soon hit by Alakazam's Ice punch.

Raichu's face immediately got frozen which made his movement speed even slower, what happened next was utter destruction Raichu was like a punching bag that can't even retaliate.

Ash frowned seeing the situation and released his own aura to stop Alakazam, "That's enough! return inside and wait for your punishment later!"

Ash took out his Pokeball and retrieved Alakazam that had a look of terror written all over his face. Ash sighed and walked towards Volkner who was holding the frozen Raichu.

"Raichu! please respond to me partner!" Volkner screamed in panic.

Ash patted Volkner's shoulder who then swatted Ash's hands away, he then took out a badge a threw it towards Ash and said in a cold voice, "Get out and take this badge with you."

Ash took the badge and without Volkner's consent poured a red liquid at Raichu.

"What are you doing?!" Volkner raged seeing Ash's action he was about to lash out on him when suddenly Raichu flinched and slowly opening his eyes.

"Partner!" Volkner shouted seeing Raichu waking up, he then looked at Ash again but the latter was already at the door near the exit.

Volkner was in deep thought and had a few questions about what happened to Ash because he also heard the news that he was training for 5 years without anyone hearing anything about him. he then shook his head and brought his attention back toward his partner.

Outside Sunnyshore City inside a man-made cave Alakazam was currently kneeling in front of Ash.

"Why did you attack without my command?"

Alakazam was currently shaking in fear, he lowered his head and said in a trembling voice "Be-because, all the seniors hated Pikachu and upon seeing Raichu an unknown rage took over me Master. the next thing I remembered was you shouting at me and retrieving back to my Pokeball."

Ash frowned hearing Alakazam's reason, he took out the rest of his pokemon and told them what happened today.

"This is a warning for all of you, you better not act like Alakazam in the future. I know that you were the ones that stuck to me when all the others left but I will not tolerate those who disobey me."

All the pokemon nodded in acknowledgement, Bayleef approached Ash and nuzzled her head at his shoulder.

"Master, I noticed that ever since we started challenging the gym leaders your temper has gotten worst is there any problem Master?" Bayleef asked in a concerned voice.

Ash caressed Bayleef's head and replied, "No need to worry Bayleef, I am alright."
