Noivern's Story

Hearing Bayleef's message Ash frowned and stared at Bayleef making the latter take a step back when she sensed Ash's aura flaring up.

"Master, please control your aura," Bayleef said in a low voice trying to calm Ash down.

Shaking his head Ash continued entering the sound and replied when he was already through the door, "Leave him be, he already chose his path so he has to live with it."

Bayleef used her vines and stopped Ash by wrapping her vine at his hands and replied, "I know Master but Noivern is a special case, I hope that you can hear him out first. You know that he treats you like a father so can you please give him a chance to explain?"

The others were looking at Ash and Bayleef staring at each other and were clueless about their topic, they know that Ash can talk to his pokemon through telepathy so they decided to give them space and entered the house leaving Ash, Bayleef, and Garchomp outside,

Ash really didn't want to face the pokemons that left him but he also knew Noivern pretty well because he was the one that raised him when he just came out from an egg.

"Lead the way," Ash said while hopping on the back of Garchomp along with Bayleef.

Garchomp didn't waste any time and immediately flew back towards where they came from earlier.

At the outskirts of the island, Noivern was currently pacing back and forth clearly unsettled and worried that Ash won't come.

"They're here," Alakazam said and suddenly used his protect skill to bind Noivern preventing him from moving.

Garchomp landed and Ash along with Bayleef hopped off, Alakazam already used his psychic aura to surround everyone.

"Dad! Dad! I miss you so much!" Noivern couldn't stop himself and started shouting at Ash with tears flowing down his eyes.

Ash stared at Noivern who was struggling to break free from the bindings and gestured to Alakazam to release him.

Noivern who was struggling noticed that the walls trapping disappeared and he immediately dashed towards Ash and kneeled in front of him.

"Dad, please listen to my explanation," Noivern said lowering his head waiting for Ash to speak.

Ash kept on looking at Noivern studying his movements and strength, he then nodded and said in an emotionless voice.

"Speak"

Noivern really wanted to cry when he felt the emotionless tone Ash was using but gritted his and started explaining.

'Flashback' 3 years ago

"Noivern, follow me for a while," Pikachu said while leading Noivern towards a cave that was newly made.

Noivern glance at the cave and asked, "What are we doing here Pikachu?"

Pikachu didn't explain and continued walking deeper, after a few minutes Noivern saw that inside the cave the other pokemons were there talking to each other.

Upon seeing Noivern's arrival Torterra said while walking in the middle of the circle that they made, "Looks like everyone is here already."

Noivern was clueless as to why they were having a secret meeting inside this cave and took a spot beside Heracross.

"As you all know, Master already doubled the training and he will keep on making it harder and harder. So I suggest we band together and ask Master to lessen the training as to what it was the last time."

After speaking Torterra glanced at the pokemon waiting to see if there was any objection when he saw Noivern raise his hand.

"What is it Noivern?"

Noivern step forward and asked, "Why do we need to do this? are you all planning on leaving Master like what those traitors did in the past?"

Torterra shook his head and was about to explain when Pikachu spoke first.

"It's not that, we are just doing for Master's sake because if this continues on then all of us will be tired to death if the training keeps on increasing."

Noivern really didn't care about the increase in their training because he wanted to become stronger and knew that Ash was doing this for their own good but upon hearing the other's comment he started doubting himself.

"So what is the plan? ask Master to stop increasing the training?" Glalie asked.

Pikachu shook his head and replied, "That won't work, I know Master, and seeing how he is acting I know that he won't stop it instead he will ask us to leave if we think that we can't take it anymore."

The group all lowered their heads and started thinking of a solution when suddenly Leavanny said.

"How about we fake leaving the group and wait for Master to call us back, knowing him I know that he won't let us go so easily."

Hearing this the other pokemon looked at each other and seeing that no one rejected the idea the group then decided to go with this plan.

Noivern who was at the side still worried and asked himself, 'Will Dad not get mad if we do this?'

Heracross who was beside Noivern patted his back and said, "Don't worry, Master will surely call us back."

He then led Noivern outside of the cave leaving the rest of the pokemon inside.

"Why did you have to bring Noivern? you know that he won't leave Master." Torterra asked Pikachu.

Pikachu shook his head and explained, "You don't get it, Master knows that Noivern is loyal to him seeing him gone along with me and the rest of the group he will surely rethink his training regime and will come looking for us.

Bulbasaur who was quiet the whole time spoke, "Why did Master have to be like this? why can't we enjoy ourselves like how we did in the past."

Hawlucha, Buizel, Staraptor, and Talonflame didn't comment, they all have their own plan after leaving.

Gliscor who was hung upside down commented, "This past few years had been fun but I want to return to my cave and enjoy ruling a small bunch of pokemons and have them serve me."

The others were still hoping for Ash to change but the rest of the group already knew that it was futile to hope for their Master to change so they started planning on their next step.

A few days passed by and the fateful day has arrived

"Noivern, let's go!" Torterra shouted and wrapped Noivern with his vine whip dragging him with them.

Noivern was confused he looked at his fellow pokemon and didn't know why they are not stopping but kept on moving away from the camp.

"Why are we not stopping?! didn't you say that we will be waiting for Master to come and pick us up?!" Noivern angrily said while trying to break free from Torterra's bind.

Pikachu who was leading the group sighed and said, "It is futile, Master already knows that we left and he still decided to leave us so there is no more reason for us to return."

Leavanny, Heracross, and Bulbasaur all lowered their heads, they didn't want to leave but they also can't keep up with the training.

Noivern was already going mad and he shouted, "If you fools can't keep up why do you have to bring me into this?! I want to go back! RELEASE ME!"

But all of his efforts were gone to waste because Torterra didn't loosen his grip, he then glanced at Noivern and said angrily.

"It is useless to go back now, Master already knows that you betrayed him so do you think that he will still accept you?!"

Noivern didn't care and kept flailing wanting to break free, he kept on shouting and shouting all throughout their escape.

Torterra couldn't take it anymore and used sleeping powder making Noivern fall asleep.

"Finally, this fool still won't stop if I didn't make him fall asleep," Torterra said and continued walking towards their destination.

The full moon was gone and it was now replaced by the sun, Noivern who was sleeping on a grassy field covered his eyes blocking the sun away from his vision.

"Where am I?" Noivern looked at his surroundings and only saw Torterra sleeping below a tree.

Upon seeing Torterra, Noivern finally remembered what happened last night and used dragon claw slashing towards Torterra who was sleeping.

*BANG!*

Torterra who was in a vulnerable state was smashed towards the tree waking him up.

"You imbecile! where are we?! Where are the others and where is the direction towards Dad's camp?!" Noivern asked multiple questions towards Torterra who was now injured.

"Heh, the others already left and went on their own journey. I advise you to already think of your future plans and stop hoping on going back to Master!" Torterra said with a sneer.

Noivern didn't even take a second at Torterra and immediately started focusing on Gabite's aura making his way back at the camp.

He flew for 6 hours straight using his top speed but as soon as he arrives there was no more sign of Ash and the others.

Noivern didn't give up and kept on looking at the surroundings hoping that they didn't get far but he didn't know that Ash hopped on Charizard and they already left last night.

"After that, I kept on looking for you all over the place and today when I felt Garchomp's aura I immediately flew towards here fearing that I won't be able to meet you on time," Noivern said as he finished his story.
