Mega Stones

Unova, Frostbite Mountain

Frostbite Mountian was the tallest mountain in the Unova Region, high-level ice type pokemon resides here making the mountain a danger zone to trainers who have just started their journey.

On the very peak of the mountain, two individuals appeared out of nowhere the first one was a small pink pokemon while the one beside it was a young man wearing a red jacket.

"So this is where Kyurem resides?" Ash asked scanning the mountain.

Mew nodded it's head and brought Ash towards a huge cave, ice crystals could be seen scattered all over the cave. the two of them went deeper inside the cave when all of a sudden a bone-chilling wind enveloped Ash making him flinch.

Ash smirked, he looked at his side and could no longer see Mew. Ash knew that his little test has already begun. he closed his eyes and a white aura wrapped around his body making the bone-chilling wind lose its effect Ash then continued walking deeper and deeper not at all hindered by the freezing cold wind.

At the deepest part of the cave, a huge dragon like pokemon was standing staring into the distance with a pink pokemon sitting on top of his head.

"You darn mother of pokemon! why did you give that brat an aura stone?!" Kyurem growled at Mew who just giggled.

"Why? is it against the rules to give someone that I approve of an aura stone?" Mew asked tilting its head waiting for Kyurem to reply.

Kyurem rolled his eyes and didn't want to argue with the little pink pokemon anymore because he knew that it was impossible to reason with Mew, he already learned his lesson a few years ago when it waked him up in his deep sleep.

"Why do I even need to give a test to someone who already has your approval? you are just bullying me Mew!" Kyurem really wanted to lash out at Mew but he knew that it was futile.

Mew continued to giggle and said, "Who asked you to give him a test? I already told you that I found an interesting trainer and seeing that you are lonely here and can't go back into a deep sleep then it is better for you to accompany him on his journey."

Kyurem already accepting his fate and studied Ash carefully, "A young aura user, to think that after a thousand years you will choose another human."

Kyurem looked at Mew and asked, "Why did you choose me? why not those two imbeciles who only knows how to fight each other and wreck havoc?"

Mew put its little hand on its chin and replied, "Hmmmmm, Reshiram and Zekrom are narrow-minded they won't even listen to me if I told them to accompany a human being. which led me to choose you who is a slacker that only knows how to sleep hihihihi."

Kyurem nodded his head in exasperation and asked a serious question, "You choosing an aura user all of a sudden does it mean that a huge catastrophe is approaching?"

Mew nodded its head in acknowledgment, "Arceus seal is weakening and it won't be long until that good for nothing overgrown centipede will break out of the mirror dimension and wreck havoc again."

While the two pokemon were talking with each other Ash finally reached their spot and saw Kyurem and Mew murmuring to each other. seeing that they were busy he chose to wander around the place and was suddenly attracted to an ice crystal he grabbed it and saw that two identical stones were sealed inside it one was bigger while the one beside it was a lot smaller.

Ash was studying the crystal when Mew landed on his shoulder and said, "That is a Mega Stone, you should already know by now that these stones can mega evolve your final form pokemon."

Kyurem then approached the two and continued, "That Mega Stone is suitable for fire type pokemon."

Holding the Mega Stone firmly Ash nodded his head and stored it inside his back not even asking for permission, he then turned his attention at Kyurem and asked: "Are you willing to accompany me Kyurem?"

Kyurem snorted and replied, "What choice do I have? Mew is clearly favoring you human but I will not be participating in those puny battles you humans compete."

Ash nodded his head and promised that he won't use Kyurem when competing in the league, the only reason why Ash wanted Kyurem he heard from Mew that if he wanted his aura to be more stronger then he must have at least one legendary pokemon accompanying him. the legendary pokemon's aura will help him improve his strength while his own aura will also help the legendary in return it was a win-win situation and Ash couldn't ask for more.

He was about to take out a Pokeball when Kyurem transformed and turned into a bracelet and wrapped around Ash's wrist.

"Hmp, you dare put me inside that Pokeball?! are you asking for a beating human?!" Kyurem's angry voice could be heard inside of Ash's head.

Ash chuckled and caressed his bracelet, he then continued searching around the cave hoping to find another set of Mega Stone but to his disappointment, he couldn't find any Mega Stones.

"Ash, It's time to go back now." Mew floated on top of Ash and suddenly used teleport catching Ash off guard.
