Dad, where are you?

In a mountain near Lily of the Valley Island

A draconic bat pokemon was currently laying inside a cave and was trembling while tears were coming out his eyes.

"Dad! Dad! where are you? please forgive me! I didn't know! the others persuaded me saying that you will follow behind us and won't let us leave, please where are you? I'm all alone now." The draconic pokemon said to himself while imagining a young man with a blue jacket and a blue cap.

"Noibat! Welcome to the family!"

"Just stay rest on my shoulders why you watch the others train and when you get older you will also train alongside them."

"Wow! you evolved! you are now a Noivern!"

Noivern thought of this every single day, he stayed in this cave for 2 years already and was the king of the entire mountain. smaller pokemons will give him food every week as a form of thanks because Noivern always defends them when other bigger pokemons try attacking them.

"Those bastards! especially Pikachu, he said that Dad will not let us leave and will go after us and when Dad didn't come and came to get us back they just left one by one leaving me all behind." Noivern said while gritting his teeth in anger.

While Noivern was blaming himself for being an idiot for believing Pikachu and the rest he felt a powerful draconic aura coming from a near island.

"Huh?!" Noivern suddenly raised his head staring at the direction where the draconic aura was coming from.

"Isn't that Gabite's aura?! There's no mistaking it! we are the only two dragon pokemon that Dad has and Gabite didn't leave Dad's side so it must be him!!"

Noivern didn't even hesitate and spread his wings and flew towards the direction of the aura.

Meanwhile, in Ash's backyard, Garchomp and Infernape were having an intense fight with one another and the whole backyard was destroyed by their powerful attacks but Ash who was watching the fight didn't stop them because whoever wins this match will be the one to fight in the semi-final round in the main tournament while the loser will be fighting in the quarter-final.

"Heh, you really became a lot stronger now Garchomp but you're still not a match for me," Infernape said and on the next second his entire body was covered in flames, his flaming hair became longer, and was dancing around the air like it was alive.

Garchomp snorted and replied, "So what if you can freely use blaze? you think you can defeat me?!"

*ROOOOOOOOOAAAAAAAAAAAAAR!!!*

Garchomp roared while floating up in the air, his entire body was covered in a dragon-shaped aura staring down on Infernape.

"Take this!"

Garchomp roared once again and flew towards Infernape who was below.

"Dragon Rush? Don't underestimate me Garchomp!"

Infernape then stood his ground while converging all of the flames in front of him forming into a human-shaped fire.

"Take this FIRE BLAST!!"

*BOOM!*

As the two moves collided a huge blast erupted in the backyard Alakazam immediately erected a protective shield trapping the blast inside.

The entire backyard was now covered in smoke and they didn't know who won, as the smoke slowly faded away they finally saw Infernape helping Garchomp walk.

"Why did you have to overdo it?! now look at you all battered and bruised." Infernape scolded.

Garchomp rolled his eyes and replied, "If you didn't use Blaze then I wouldn't be this injured right now so stop scolding me."

Ash smiled seeing the two arguing with each other just after their fight, "So it is decided then that Infernape will be the one competing in the Semi-final round while Garchomp will be the one to compete in the Quarter-final round."

Garchomp could only nod in agreement and said, "Don't act so smug because I will beat your a*s next time!"

Alakazam who was floating above complained to Ash, "Master, how about I fight with Garchomp next? I don't want to fight in the top 16 round and would rather fight in the Quarter-final round."

Ash shook his head and replied, "Don't make any more troubles Alakazam, you will be fighting in the top 16 while Charizard and Sceptile will be fighting in the finals."

Alakazam sighed in defeat not wanting to argue another lest his Master will punish him for arguing too much.

The group was about to take their rest when all of them suddenly sense a pokemon flying towards them at a breakneck speed.

"Heh, only a small fry let me handle this Master!" Alakazam floated and teleported towards the incoming pokemon.

*SWOOOSH!*

Noivern who was concentrating on Garchomp's aura was startled when an Alakazam suddenly appeared in front of him.

"Get out of my way! I am looking for my Dad!" Noivern said in an aggressive voice, he was really afraid that his Dad will disappear if he won't arrive on time.

Alakazam stared at the pokemon in front of him and shook his head, "You are not allowed to advance even further because this is my Master's territory."

Noivern frowned hearing Alakazam stopping him but something clicked inside his mind and so he asked, "Does your Master have a Gabite with him?"

Alakazam stared at Noivern a few moments and replied, "My Master doesn't have a Gabite, but he does have a Garchomp."

"Garchomp? I see, I see, looks like Gabite finally evolved." Noivern was murmuring to himself and asked.

"Can you please tell Garchomp that I am looking for him?"

Alakazam nodded in agreement knowing that the pokemon in front is weak so he called Alakazam using telepathy.

A few moments later Garchomp who was bruised all over his body arrived, "What the hell do you want Alakazam? can't you see I'm still healing?!" Garchomp said angrily.

Alakazam pointed towards Noivern and said, "I called you because this Noivern is looking for you."

Noivern upon seeing Garchomp arrive couldn't hide his excitement anymore and dashed towards him, "Garchomp!!! I finally found you guys!! *sob* *sob*"

Garchomp was startled seeing Noivern hugging him while crying his heart's out.

"What do you want?" Garchomp recovered and pushed Noivern away and asked coldly.

Noivern was still sobbing and replied, "I didn't mean to leave you Dad. Pikachu and the others tricked me and when I found out that truth it was finally too late because when I went back to the camp you were all gone."

Hearing Noivern's reason Garchomp sympathize a little bit but still shook his head, "So now you miraculously found us all of a sudden?"

Noivern nodded and continued, "That's right! I felt your draconic aura and immediately flew towards here. I have been searching for 2 years! and I finally found you guys, is Dad with you? please let me see him PLEAAAASEEE!"

Noivern begged, he felt the power coming from Alakazam and Garchomp so he knew that he can't force his way in so that's why he started begging.

Garchomp didn't know what to do, he looked at Alakazam and said. "Bring him to the outskirts of the island and guard him while I'll go and inform Bayleef."

Alakazam nodded and used protect to lock Noivern inside a squared prison cell, they then flew towards the outskirts of the island as per Garchomp's order.

Garchomp returned to the backyard and saw only Bayleef there, the others all went to their resting spot while Ash was already resting inside the house.

"So who is it?" Bayleef asked catching Garchomp off guard.

"How did you know?" Garchomp asked in confusion.

Bayleef smiled and replied, "I remembered everyone's aura so I felt a slight familiarity with the aura that appeared all of a sudden."

Garchomp nodded in amazement and said, "It was Noivern, he told me that he was tricked by Pikachu and the others, and when he came back to our camp we were already gone."

"Hmmm, seeing that you came to me means that you don't know what to do, huh."

"That's right," Garchomp replied, deep inside he wanted Noivern to meet with his Master but he was hesitating if it was the right thing to do that's why he reported it to their current leader Bayleef.

Bayleef thought for a moment and said, "Let me meet him first then I will decide what to do with Noivern."

Garchomp nodded and carried Bayleef as they flew towards Alakazam's position.
