"You," I said, beckoning him over with a curl of my finger. "Come here."
He gulped, scurrying over like a mouse approaching a trap. "Y-yes, sir?"
"Is this the only lab in this facility, or are there more?" I asked, my eyes narrowing as I studied his face.
The researcher trembled, his eyes darting nervously between me and Mewtwo. "N-no, sir. This lab is just for cloning research. There are other labs too." He was inwardly wondering if I was testing him by asking such simple questions.
"Great," I said, releasing him. "Lead the way."
The guy hesitated, clearly not thrilled about showing us around with Mewtwo floating menacingly beside me. "Sir, all the other labs have been evacuated due to the emergency sequence. There are no personnel there."
"Oh right, Fuji did say something like that," I mused, rubbing my chin thoughtfully. "So why hasn't this lab been evacuated?"
The researcher swallowed hard, his Adam's apple bobbing nervously. "Sir, cloning research is deemed Alpha-level importance. We couldn't leave any data here."
"Is that so?" I asked, raising an eyebrow at the researcher. The guy was practically shaking in his boots, but he nodded eagerly, trying to please me.
"Yes, sir! Mewtwo here is the best clone we've ever created. With her, we can create more, each one as powerful as she is. The possibilities are endless!" He was spewing out words like a fucking fountain, trying to impress me.
But mid-speech, the guy started choking, his feet dangling above the ground as an unseen force lifted him into the air. Mewtwo's eyes were glowing with that eerie purple light, her tail swishing angrily behind her. Oh shit, she was pissed.
I stepped forward, placing a hand on Mewtwo's shoulder. Her muscles were tense, her body shaking with rage. "Easy there, Mewtwo," I said, my voice calm but firm. The researcher fell to the ground, gasping for breath.
I turned to the researcher, my eyes narrowing as I loomed over him. "Let me make one thing clear," I growled, my voice low and dangerous. "Mewtwo is not some object you can replicate at will. She is a unique being, and if you ever disrespect her again, she will turn your body into putty before you can even say the letter 'C' in 'clone.'"
The researcher looked up at me, his eyes wide with terror. He nodded frantically, his breath coming in ragged gasps.
I clapped my hands together, the sound echoing through the lab like a thunderclap. All eyes turned to me, the researchers freezing in their tracks. "Listen up, maggots!" I shouted, my voice booming through the room. "The cloning research facility is hereby shut down. All data is to be purged. Every fucking research log, every sample, every goddamn thing. Got it?"
A murmur rippled through the crowd, a mix of shock and disbelief. Some of the researchers exchanged nervous glances, their eyes darting towards Mewtwo.
One of the researchers, a balding guy with a nervous twitch, stepped forward. "But... but sir, our research... all our work..."
I silenced him with a look, my eyes cold and hard. I leaned in close, my voice dropping to a low whisper. "Mewtwo, teach them a lesson."
Before I could even blink, Mewtwo struck. The researchers who had dared to question me were lifted into the air, their bodies contorting and twisting like they were made of clay. They screamed in agony as their bones snapped and their flesh tore, their bodies transforming into bloody, unrecognizable lumps.
I glanced at Mewtwo, my eyebrows raised. "Damn, girl. I didn't mean for you to take me so literally."
Mewtwo looked up at me, her eyes wide and innocent. "Did I do wrong?" she asked, her voice soft and uncertain.
I sighed, shaking my head. "No, it's okay. A bit excessive, but okay."
The remaining researchers looked on in horror, their faces pale and their bodies shaking. They knew now that I wasn't fucking around. Mewtwo floated beside me, her eyes scanning the room, daring anyone else to question my orders.
"Now," I said, clapping my hands together once more. "Let's get this place cleaned up. And remember, no fucking around this time. I want every trace of this shit gone. Understood?"
The researchers nodded frantically, their eyes wide with fear and determination. They knew better than to cross me now.
As they scrambled to carry out my orders, I turned to Mewtwo, a small smile playing on my lips. "You know, you're kinda scary when you're angry."
Mewtwo pouted, her tail swishing back and forth like a pissed-off cat. "They deserved it," she muttered, her eyes still glowing with that eerie light.
I chuckled, ruffling her fur like she was a petulant kid. "Yeah, maybe they did. But next time, try not to be so... bloody. Too much blood affects the mind, makes a girl go yandere."
Mewtwo tilted her head, her eyes filled with confusion. "Yandere? What is yandere?"
Oh boy, here we go. I sighed, scratching the back of my head. "Alright, listen up, kiddo. Yandere is... well, it's when a cute girl goes all psycho and violent 'cause she loves someone too much. Like, obsessive, murderous kinda love. Not healthy, ya know?"
Mewtwo blinked, processing this new information. "So... love makes you violent?"
"No, no, no," I said, waving my hands in front of me. "That's the thing, Mewtwo. Love shouldn't make you violent. That's why yandere is bad. You gotta be deredere."
More confusion. "Deredere?"
"Yeah, deredere. It's like... super lovey-dovey, sweet, and cuddly. You know, the kind of love that makes you wanna hug and kiss and shit, not rip apart limb from limb."
Mewtwo seemed to ponder this, her tail swishing slower now. "So... deredere is good?"
"Exactly!" I said, snapping my fingers. "Deredere is the best dere. It's all about being sweet and loving, not crazy and murderous."
Mewtwo looked up at me, her eyes wide and earnest. "I want to be deredere," she declared.
I smiled, patting her on the head. "Good girl. Just remember, love is about making each other happy, not... well, not turning people into bloody pulps."
Mewtwo nodded solemnly, taking in every word. "I understand. I will be deredere, not yandere."
I grinned, giving Mewtwo a playful nudge. "Alright, let's go see your mamma."
Mewtwo tilted her head, confusion written all over her face. "Mamma? What do you mean?"
"Oh, you'll see. Come on, let's find out." I gestured for her to follow, and she floated along beside me, her eyes wide with curiosity.
As we walked through the lab, the researchers scurried out of our way like we were the fucking plague. Good, they were learning fast. I spotted the researcher Mewtwo had choked earlier, cowering in a corner. Perfect.
"Hey, you!" I barked, pointing at the guy. He jumped, his eyes wide with fear. "Show us the sample DNA of Mew."
The researcher nodded frantically, leading us to a room covered with glass. Inside, a metal cube sat on a pedestal in the center. "T-this is the sample, sir," he stammered, his voice shaking.
I rolled my eyes. "Well, open the fucking room then."
The guy looked like he was about to shit his pants. "I-I can't, sir. My clearance level isn't enough."
I sighed, pinching the bridge of my nose. "You useless fart. Move aside." I pressed my finger on the scanner, and it beeped happily, the door sliding open. "See? Easy peasy."
We stepped into the room, and I picked up the cube, examining it from all angles. "Huh, how the fuck does this thing open?"
The researcher hesitantly spoke up from the doorway. "Y-you have to press the 'R' symbol, sir."
I waved him off dismissively. "Yeah, yeah, I know. Shut up and scram off now. Don't you have work to do?" After the researcher ran away like he was running from death itself, I found the symbol and pressed it, the cube clicking open to reveal a glowing pink piece of something like skin inside. "There we go. Not as interesting as I expected, though."
Mewtwo looked at the vial curiously, her eyes filled with a mixture of awe and confusion. "Is that... my momma?"
I nodded, a smirk playing on my lips. "Yep, that's your mamma, so to speak. The DNA sample of Mew that created you, the source of your power. Pretty cool, huh?"
Mewtwo reached out a tentative paw, her eyes glowing softly. "Can I touch it?"
I shrugged. "Sure, why not? Just don't break it."
Mewtwo tentatively touched the glowing pink sample, her eyes filled with curiosity and anticipation. But as her paw made contact... nothing happened. No spark, no shockwave, not even a fucking tingle. She looked up at me, her brow furrowed in confusion. "I don't feel anything," she said, her voice tinged with disappointment.
I shrugged, taking the cube from her and examining it. "Yeah, well, it's not exactly the most thrilling thing in the world. Just a DNA sample, after all."
Mewtwo tilted her head, her eyes filled with questions. "What is Mew?" she asked, her voice soft and curious.
I leaned against the pedestal, scratching my chin. "Well, that's not entirely clear. But from what I've heard, Mew is said to be the first Pokémon in the world, or something like that."
Mewtwo's eyes widened in surprise. "The first Pokémon? That would mean she's very, very old, right? Is she even alive?"
I chuckled, nodding. "Oh, yeah, that little minx is as alive as one can be. She's out there, playing around the world, causing who knows what kind of trouble."
Mewtwo's tail swished excitedly behind her, her eyes sparkling with excitement. "I want to meet her one day!" she exclaimed, her voice filled with longing.
I grinned, ruffling her fur. "Hey, if things happen as they should, we'll definitely meet her soon. I can feel it in my bones."
Mewtwo looked up at me, her eyes filled with curiosity as she handed the cube back. "What are you going to do with it?" she asked, her head tilted to the side.
I smirked, turning the cube over in my hands. "I was thinking of using it with my transformation ability. See if I can unlock any of Mew's power."
Mewtwo pouted, her tail swishing in displeasure. "Why don't you just use me instead?" she asked, her voice tinged with jealousy.
I laughed, patting her on the ass as I started walking out of the room. "Sorry, kiddo, but your DNA sample is sort of unstable. My Ditto ability can't copy you exactly, and I don't want to end up as a fucked-up clone of you." Which I sort of did.
Mewtwo huffed, floating along beside me as we made our way back through the lab. "Fine, fine. But if you turn into something weird, don't come to me."
"So you won't help me then?" I pouted exaggeratedly, giving her my best sad puppy dog eyes.
Mewtwo's eyes widened in panic, her tail swishing nervously. "N-no, no! I will! You can come to me anytime! I was just... just kidding!" she stammered, her voice rising an octave.
I chuckled, giving her a playful wink. "Relax. I'm just fucking with you. Let's go, the lady from earlier would be waiting."
With that, we continued our way through the lab, the researchers still scurrying out of our path like scared little mice. I couldn't help but feel a sense of satisfaction at the fear and respect we commanded. It was a good feeling, one that I could definitely get used to.
