Ash fell face first on the pillow of his bed, "Finally they are gone! Ugh! I hope Magby is okay. I swear, I'm not ready for heart attacks."

Eevee fell on the pillow next to him, "Vui!"

Lucario snickered as Eevee mimicked their Meema, -You knew full well this would have happened Meema.-

Abra shook his head at his sister's antics, "Abra ab."

Ash pouted as he looked at his starter, "Doesn't mean I have to like it."

Misty walked in after knocking the door, "You okay in there?"

Ash grumbled out, "I'll live. I just hate nosey reporters. If Blaine had not told us Magby hibernate if it gets too cold... "

Misty chuckled, "I understand, he gave us quite the fright. Huh? It's already Christmas and before you know it, it'll be a New Year."

Ash nodded at her, "Yeah, mom is going crazy with the decorations downstairs. But that's not what you want to talk about, right?"

Misty, "Yeah, I'm spending Christmas at Cerulean city. My sisters insisted on it."

Ash nodded, "You should go. You plan on traveling to the Orange Archipelago and train under Lorelei right? Enjoy your time with your sisters. I have a feeling you'll be there for more than a year."

Misty laid down on his bed and looked at the ceiling that had Pokemon decor hanging from crystal chains, "Yeah... To think we came so far.. It only feels like yesterday, when Blue and Professor Oak chewed me out before advising me on becoming a Water Pokemon Master."

Ash nodded into his pillow, "A whole year went by before we even realized it."

Brock poked his head in, "Talking about the past, are we?"

Gou, "There you are!"

Chloe, "We have been looking for you."

Ash finally got up, "Come on in."

The four teens and almost adult sat around Ash's room making it seem a little crowded especially with the younger Pokemon. They could smell the baking coming from the kitchen and Delia and Rose bustling about the house. The two women and their Pokemon had no doubt shooed the others to Ash's room so they could work without bumping on others. It rarely snowed in Pallet town only towards the end of December and start of January due to its unique location on the continent. Even if it did it was not exactly heavy just enough to enjoy the sights for aesthetic purposes. The snow storm lasts for a week at it's strongest and four days at it's weakest.

They were all wearing warm clothes, Ash was wearing warm pants, black socks with Pikachu prints and a white sweater with a dark blue jacket. Misty was wearing knee long socks, warm woollen shorts, orange sweater and red jacket. Brock wore warm brown pants, grey socks and a thick jacket on top of a black sweater. Chloe wore a pink dress made of wool, warm slacks, and a white jacket on top, while Gou had a thick red sweater, warm pants and red socks.

Gou looked at the poke egg on the table, "Another mystery egg?"

Ash, "Yep and they refuse to tell me who the parents are."

Brock, "Speaking of poke eggs, my little Corsula is ready to get into battling."

Misty perked up, "Dewpider as well, the little sneak that she is has been sneakily training with my Butterfree."

Ash chuckled, "We do tend to baby them, so I suppose it's not surprising they turned to the seniors to train. Chimchar and Tyrunt has been following Charizard and Taurous around to train from them. Banette and Gengar took to teaching Phantump.... Speaking of Gengar, he is definitely the caretaker type rather than a battle type. I'm considering adding him to the lessons Venasaur takes at the Pokemon centre after finishing training him."

Chloe, "I noticed that about Gengar too, do you recon, he was a healer before?"

Gou, "That's possible, most ghost types are pranksters, Gengar though seems more inclined to being a carer instead."

Ash smiled, "Once he is strong and able to win at least hundred battles just like Venasaur, I'll let him join the classes."

Misty nodded in approval, "With a hundred wins under his belt no one will think about trying to take advantage of him."

Gou, "And they will not question you either."

Gengar who had been listening from Ash's shadow came out blushing before he put a basket filled with ripe red apples in the middle of the group. The ghost Pokemon then sat next to Ash cuddling him in thanks making the raven haired teen giggle in response before hugging him. Eevee seeing that jumped in on the hug while Abra made himself comfortable on Ash's shoulders next to Pikachu.

Gengar, "Geng gengar."

Ash, "You don't have to thank me Gengar, and you already won five battles today. So five down, ninety five to go."

Brock chuckled, "That's the only part you enjoyed in today's interview."

Ash, "Obviously! I rather battle than spend my time talking about my non existent romance life."

Chloe snickered, "I wouldn't say non existent, rather you didn't even start dating yet."

Misty grumbled, "Why are people always thinking I want to date either you or Brock? I am barely fourteen for crying out loud."

Brock shrugged, "People love drama and it sells more."

Gou, "Only thing to choose is what type of drama you want to get involved in battle drama or romance drama."

Ash, "Battle! All the way."

Misty, "Hear! Hear!"

Delia, "Oh kids! Everything is ready! Come down now. Party is about to start. Ash Professor Oak is here to talk to you."

Ash, "Coming mom! Shall we?"

The group went downstairs to where the party was going on, it was a double party, for winning and the upcoming season. Gou would be the only one staying in Pallet town with Ash as his parents were overseas working and would not make it back before the New Year started. Misty, Brock and Chloe were all returning to their respective home towns to celebrate with their families. Delia didn't mind the extra company and set a room up for the dark skinned teen to stay during the week.

Samuel, "Ash son, come here for a second."

Ash looked at him curiously, "What's up Professor?"

Samuel, "Well Ash let's go somewhere private first, yes?"

Ash walked to one of the rooms with a table and a few chairs with glass windows through which the garden could be seen before closing the door, "So?"

Samuel sat on one of the chairs and motioned for Ash to sit, "I got a call from Director Koreda, he has completed choosing the actors for the movie. He wants you to meet them."

Ash looked at the list and blinked and blinked again at the names that were on the list of actors given. He wondered if it was fate that the actors had the same first name as the actors in his previous world although the last names were different. He gave an impressed whistle at the cast that was chosen, it was more or less similar to the cast of the original Pottermore series. He checked their profiles and that's where the similarities ended, the three main character actors looked completely different from the original. The main male was dark skinned with green eyes, main female had black hair with honey coloured eyes and the best friend was more of a dark red rather than bright orange red with blue eyes and the rival was a dark blonde instead of platinum blonde with brown eyes.

Ash smiled, "They are perfect Professor."

Samuel, "They wish to meet you."

Ash spluttered, "Whaa.. What? Why? I thought."

Samuel, "Don't worry I made them sign NDAs to not say anything about your private information or the meeting. But they want to meet their favourite author. They were surprised when I told them the author was just a few years older than them."

Ash released his breath, "Oh okay okay. That's fine."

Samuel eyed him, "You don't have to if you don't want to."

Ash shook his head, "I'll meet them, when do they want to meet?"

Samuel smiled at him softly, "After New Year, before the second week starts, that's when filming starts I believe, it'll take a year to complete as your book covers winter, spring and fall. I believe it'll be released by Christmas next year."

Ash, "Cool!"

Samuel chuckled, "It is, isn't it? Now let's go join the others before your Pokemon decide to break the door down and steal you."

Ash laughed at that, he was happy, one of his childhood movie series would be introduced to the Pokemon world. He hoped it'll receive the same acceptance as the books had gotten over the years. He knew it was currently introduced to Alola and Galar. before he got a serious look and decided to do research on formal clothes for the regions. One of the biggest point of criticism of the movie were the Yule ball dresses, he would not make the same mistake. But fourth year was still a long way to go so he relaxed and enjoyed the previous Christmas party before three of his friends had to leave for home.

The holiday week was spent with Gou and Gary who had taken a short break from his training on Mt Silver. Gary had also dragged Blue, Red and Silver along with him to Pallet town to enjoy the holidays till the New Year started again. Ash was not sure about it but he thought he saw Giovanni around as well talking to Red, it didn't look like he was there to create trouble so he let it be. Lucario meanwhile snickered when Gengar flew around holding mistletoe making the Pokemon and people under it kiss. The ghost Pokemon however was also caught under the mistletoe due to Phantump holding it over him and Gary's Frosslass.

The two blushed before kissing and disappearing from sight much to everyone's amusement. The New Year was celebrated with a lot of fanfare and Pokemon shows , Ash decided to hold at the town centre to entertain the kids who had taken to following him around during his errands. It had earned them the little title of Mother Swanna and Duckletts from the town folks much to Ash's mortification. But he figured it could be worse and he noticed a group of people arriving in Pallet town during the show and understood he would have to meet them.

Samuel, "Hello everyone! Happy New Year! Now as promised, let me introduce the youngest writer who has won the hearts of many people around the world. The mystery writer of Hogwarts Chronicles, Ash Ketchum."

Daniel Nerrome gasped, "Aren't you the winner?"

Rupert Wattfield, "No way!"

Emma Ellot, "I'm a big fan."

Tom Deomark, "I saw all your battles and performance. It was awesome."

Ash held a finger to his lips, "Let's keep it a secret okay?"

The four young actors nodded beaming at him while older actors were pretty surprised on seeing him. They had excepted someone a little older than Ash if they were being honest, perhaps someone who has traveled the world before. Ash meanwhile was squealing like crazy inside, they were adorable, adorable little ickle actors. Lucario snorted by his side getting the attention of the young eleven year old actors who gasped on seeing the Abra and Eevee. They gathered around the two young Pokemon and started to coo over them soon enough while the older actors talked with Professor Oak and Ash.

Alan Holland who was playing a certain Professor raised his eyebrow, "That's rare and lucky, I must say."

Maggie Hewley nodded, "What are the odds?"

Ash chuckled, "I get that a lot. The breeders would not tell me and was it a pleasant surprise for all of us?"

Samuel laughed, "How about we all go to the lab? I have enough rooms to accommodate everyone here. And you can get to know some of the Pokemon you will no doubt have to work with."

Richard Sheen gave a pleasant smile, "That would be lovely, Professor. I should get used to saying that word the next few months."

Samuel, "Daniel, Rupert, Emma and Tom, if you work hard, and do well. I will allow you to take care of one poke egg each. They'll be registered as your starters after they hatch."

They grinned in answer and laughed as they were escorted to the fields outside the lab where Pokemon who belonged to trainers who were part of show cases and contests stayed. Ash's Pokemon were interested in the movie as well and Lucario, Milotic and Charizard surprised everyone by speaking. The kids were absolutely delighted while Ash snickered and said it was magic. The adults gave him a look that said they knew exactly what was going on but didn't comment, instead Maggie got emotional and hugged him. It was only a few years later he would realize why. For now he pat her back to calm her down before introducing all of his Pokemon to them and explained which Pokemon would be working with whom.

I was feeling nostalgic after watching "Return to Hogwarts" and then, this chapter happened.

Seeing the actors together brought back so many childhood memories for me. Did you guys watch it yet? It's very nostalgic.
