60 Kanto

Ash and Lucario enjoyed their time at the giant Pokemon park and while there Red had confessed that his father, Ash's Uncle was the one who built the park. Red had told him, he was working things out with his father although it was very slow going at the moment, he had hurt them, him and his mom by cheating on her and he had a younger half brother. Ash hugged Red not knowing what to say to that, he had not expected that bomb at all, so he simply hugged his cousin and big brother and sat with him, listening to him quietly.

Ash sighed sadly, "Red, I don't know what to say except, Uncle was an idiot. He should not have done that. Do you know if he knows?"

Red, "Who? Silver? He knows, I told him the truth about us, our relation. He deserved the truth at least, he didn't even know one of his parents were alive. He honestly thought they were both dead and he was an orphan."

Ash's face fell, "I'm sorry."

Red squeezed Ash's shoulders, "Mnn, me too. I think Leaf became really good friends with Silver alongside Gold, so I know he is not alone."

Ash looked at Red, "Do you want to invite him over to Pallet town and meet Aunt Rosie? I know Aunt Rosie would not hate him."

Red, "I did actually, he told me he will when he is ready."

Ash, "I want to meet him, from what Gold told us last time, he sounds like a great guy."

Red smiled, "He is a little awkward but a good kid, older than you by a few years, one year younger than me."

The two talked the whole time they were at the amusement park after Red got them a private booth at the restaurant. Ash talked about what he remembered about Mewtwo from his past, he told Red about his suspicions that there is more than one Mewtwo in the world. He remembered one movie where Mewtwo was definitely a female and half wondered out loud if she was here as well.

Mewtwo, -It would be nice to not be alone.-

Ash smiled, "Just like you she found a family to love and care for and be loved back. Maybe one day you will meet her."

Mewtwo, -If you meet her before me, could you call me?-

Ash nodded, "Of course, you don't need to ask."

Lucario nodded, -Yes!-

The group spent the day talking about other instances where Mewtwo was seen in his previous life. One was when Team Rocket tried to recapture him again when he was in Jhoto, and that made Ash wonder if there was another male Mewtwo out there. The fur colouring of that Mewtwo was definitely different from Red's Mewtwo, it was lighter and his tail color was darker.

Mewtwo purred, -I have always wondered what it was like to have a younger brother, if he really is born here. I would happily have him as one of my own.-

Red, "They would both be welcome to the family anytime."

Mewtwo smiled, -I can't wait.-

Red, "So leaving the heavier subjects how is your book coming?"

Ash grinned, "I'm writing two books actually."

Red blinked, "Two?"

Ash nodded, "I'm writing the series of course but also a book on the creatures that are not Pokemon."

Mewtwo brightened, -Truly?-

Ash grins before he sweatdrops, "Yes, I call it the Magi Beasts. The Professor told me many people were discussing and fighting each other online about the creatures."

Mewtwo blinked, -Oh? I remember reading about that online. They really went crazy over the Ho oh lookalike in your second book.-

Ash smiled sheepishly, "Yeah!"

Red, "Pffffft, I remember seeing that too. It was really funny."

Mewtwo, -Some even started a rumour that the magical world is real and that's where the Legendary Pokemon live.-

Ash blinked, "Excuse me? They did what?"

Ash burst out laughing hard, getting chuckles from Red who found the whole situation hilarious. If only the readers who gave comments on how the writer was no doubt mature and the work was amazing knew it was written by a thirteen year old. They spent the day talking and were joined half way by the others who were looking for Ash. Red invited them for dinner as it was already late at night and ordered food for all of them to enjoy. Misty and Brock told them about their day and what they did, while Jessilina and Jameson complained about having to work.

The next day they separated from Red and went to the port where they found out about a nasty woman trying to cheat out her rival. Ash and his friends decided to help him out by helping him come up with new ideas and food choices. Ash even called his mother to get advice on what to do about getting workers to help out and she sent some resumes of people who had applied to work for her.

Delia, "Alright boys and girls, listen, you applied for a job here, I know. But I'm afraid, I already have more than enough people so I decided to send all your resumes to Porta Vista. That's right I'm talking about the luxury resort and they agreed to take you on. What do you think about working there?"

The adult teens looked at each other before turning to Delia and giving their answers, three of them were interested while two of them wanted to stay closer to home. Delia nodded and explained the situation before she booked tickets for them to go to the luxury island the next day. The next day Ash and the others met the new workers and helped them get settled after explaining the situation to them. The three young adult nodded saying Delia had already explained what happened and they still agreed to come and work here. While it was not legally possible to take Brutella out it didn't mean Mr Moe would be helpless against her again. He had collected enough to pay off his debt to her and some more especially after Jessilina had taken part in the Beauty contest and loudly donated the winnings to Moe's restaurant. To say Brutella was my miffed by the fact Moe was able to pay off his debt was an understatement however she left without causing any troubles.

Moe saw them off the next day, "Thank you all of you for helping me."

Jessilina, "No problem Mr Moe, it was fun for us too."

Jameson smirked, "Indeed!"

Ash, "Good luck with your restaurant Mr Moe."

Misty, "Yeah, we shared your restaurant in our pages too."

Brock, "So you can expect trainers coming soon."

Moe smiled, "Thank you youngsters. Farewell and good luck."

The group left towards the port after wishing Moe and the new workers farewell and checked for the next boat. As their luck turns out the next boat was in the evening and they decided to get some training in as sports for the next gym. Ash ran off with Lucario and his Pokemon while Misty changed into her swimsuit and joined her Pokemon in the water. Brock moved towards the rock formations around the beach and released his own Pokemon, he had decided to help his rock types try and get over their type weaknesses. It would take long Ash had warned him, and some smart strategies in battle to avoid damage but not impossible with training and conviction. Jessie and James decided to check out that side of the city of Vista Port, it may be a new metropolis but it had grown very quickly over the past ten years.

Misty, "Starmie what are you doing over there? What did you find?"

Starmie sounded worried, "Haaaaaa!"

Misty, "What's wrong? Oh my Mew! You are hurt little one."

Horsea, "Seaaa sea horsea."

Misty looked at the young Pokemon sadly, "I am sorry, I don't understand what you are trying to say but I have a friend who can. Maybe they can help."

Horsea perked up, "Sea?"

Misty swam towards the shore seeing Ash return from his run with his Pokemon, "Ash, Lucario, I need help."

Ash looked at Misty, "What's wrong Misty?"

Brock heard Misty, "What's going on?"

Misty, "I found this little guy hurt while training, he was trying to tell me something but I can't understand."

Brock, "Let's take care of his wounds first, these look like they were done by poison sting."

Lucario kneeled down beside the Pokemon as Brock treated his injuries, -Hello little one, can you explain what happened. How did you get hurt? Who hurt you? And why did they hurt you?-

Horsea nodded, "Sea sea hor sea sea horsea hor sea. Sea sea horsea."

Lucario, -That is troubling.-

Before Lucario could answer Jessilina came storming towards them, "I can't believe the nerve of that woman."

Jameson, "Please calm down Jess."

Jessilina, "Kids, let's use our Pokemon to leave this city. I don't want to stay here any minute longer."

Ash, "Okay first of all, calm down. Second we are trying to help this little guy here. Third what happened? You are never this angry."

Jessilina took a deep breath, "We ran into one of the corporate leaders Nastina. She was offering money to anyone who would kill off Tentacools who live in the coral next to the city."

Misty bristled, "They can't do that, it's their home."

Horsea jumped up and down, "Horsea hor horsea!"

Lucario, -Meema, that's what Horsea was trying to tell us. The Tentacool are planning on attacking the city because their homes are being destroyed by the construction going on there.-

Ash looked at Jessilina then Lucario then Horsea, "Well fak! We got a situation."

Ash explained what Horsea just told Lucario and Misty got worried, "Oh no! If the Tentacools attack, they'll be the ones to get hurt and taken down as feral Pokemon. What are we going to do?"

Ash, "We are going to talk to that dunderhead, that's what we'll do. Where did you meet her?"

Jessilina, "Come on, this way."

The group followed Jessilina and Jameson and came across a group in the middle of the City Hall where a Brutella look alike was offering money to anyone who gets rid of the jellyfish Pokemon. Misty was pissed and would have stormed up and punched her if Jessilina did not hold her back. Brock and Jameson were looking at Nastina like she was a lunatic.

Ash stepped up, "Hold on, let me get this straight!

1. You disturbed the Tentacool

2. You started destroying their homes to create your resort

3. You want to kill them now that they are retaliating against you and want you to leave them alone.

Have you lost your mind?"

Nastina, "They have done nothing but stop construction and hurt my workers."

Ash interrupted sharply, "Only because you went and destroyed their homes and territory, they are now retaliating back."

The people looked around unsure now but Nastina continued, "Well they shouldn't have attacked my people in the first place."

Ash's left eye twitch, "Let me ask you something.... If I started destroying your home how would you feel?"

Nastina, "Why I would fight you b... Oh!"

Jessilina gave her a stern look, "Exactly so why do you think Tentacools will not fight back?"

Misty, "Yeah! Especially if you destroy their homes!"

Nastina looked conflicted, "But I cannot just up and leave that piece of land I mean coral, I spent a lot of money to buy it."

Meowth stepped up, "Guess dats w'ere Meowth coms in. I can pl'y as a translat'r for ya and you can xplain to the Tentacool why you did wat u did and 'pologise ta dem."

Jameson smiled at Meowth, "They may even agree to help you with building the resort if you in turn take care of their coral after construction is done. I would advise you to build your resort around the coral."

Brock, "Living in harmony brings more results than living in conflict."

Nastina sighed, "You youngsters.... Fine! I hear you and I must say what you just told me gave me an idea for my business. Would you, strange Meowth come with me and help me talk to them?"

Meowth, "Course, it's ma time ta shine."

Jameson, "I'll keep an eye on them."

Jessilina, "Me too."

Misty watched them go, "Do you think they will be able to fix this?"

Brock, "Jameson knows more about business than the three of us, so I think so. You don't look surprised by the fact Meowth can talk Ash."

Ash, "I heard him talk before but I didn't want to push him. Can you imagine how some people might have treated him before he met the two of them? I think he has some pretty good reasons for hiding it."

Misty frowned, "They would have either treated him as some sort a freak of nature or some sort of a commodity."

Ash nodded, "Yup, so I kept quiet and chose to wait instead."

Horsea, "Sea?"

Misty smiled to the young Pokemon, "It'll be fine Horsea. You won't have to worry about your friends."

Horsea simply nodded as they returned to the beach they were training in and continued their routine. From where they were, Misty could see a boat with Nastina, Jessilina, Jameson and Meowth found towards the corals where the Tentacool lived. She hoped that things worked out between them and they were not forced to battle. Territorial battles can get nasty and downright dirty, she would know as she had once taken care of Pokemon who were hurt during the territorial fight between two opposing Gyarados groups back at Cerulean. She winced remembering her Goldeen's state, she had her fins ripped off and was bleeding very profusely luckily Goldeen was a tough girl and survived.

Ash, "They are coming back. Is that a King gene Tentacruel?"

Misty paled, "Oh Mew! It's huge and larger than the tallest building in the city."

Brock grimaced, "It is and looks like they reached an agreement too, they are not fighting. Thank sanity, we don't have to worry about a territorial battle."

Nastina, "Youngsters I'm happy to announce this big guy and I have a very good deal going now. I will restore their coral and make sure they never go hungry while they will protect my resort and help the tourist in touring the corals."

Ash perked up, "Oh, you are planning on doing what Alola is doing. Train Pokemon in being tour guides, that could work actually."

Brock looked at some of the smaller Tentacruels, "They are locals so they will know the best spots and it'll even help get rid of the bad stigma they have for being poison types."

Jessilina, "There is nothing wrong in being a poison type."

Jameson, "Unfortunately people can be foolish and judge others."

Horsea approached the large Tentacruel and the Tentacruel nodded at him, the Horsea nodded back before jumping into Misty's arms happily. Ash and the others grinned congratulating her on getting a new Pokemon before saying farewell to Nastina, Tentacruel and Tentacools and leaving the city. Misty decided to send Cloyster back so he could relax and catch a break before catching Horsea and welcoming him to the group. The next stop was the Isle of Maiden's Peak, Ash touched his pocket containing a very important object which he hoped to return to that Isle.
