Misty's Seaking attacked using agility while Andrea's Seaking attacked using horn drill, the two Seakings were not backing down. Misty's Seaking was pissed off at Andrea while Andrea's Seaking was indifferent and looked down on him.

Misty, "Aqua ring and waterfall."

Andrea, "Megahorn. Don't let that weakling win."

Misty's Seaking used Aqua ring and Andrea's Seaking used Megahorn to counter the attack only to be hit by a powerful waterfall next causing damage. Misty didn't let up however and followed up with a powerful ice beam locking Andrea's Seaking inside a pillar of ice.

Andrea, "Seaking use supersonic to break the ice, come on!"

Misty, "Get ready Seaking!"

Misty's Seaking nodded gathering his strength amd just as Andrea's Seaking escaped from the pillar Misty's Seaking attacked. Andrea's Seaking was hit by a powerful water pulse just as he got out of the ice pillar he was stuck in. Andrea shouted at his Seaking to dodge but was too late at his Seaking was blown towards the wall and fell unconscious.

Referee, "Red side is unable to battle, Blue wins, Misty and Seaking will move on to the final round."

Andrea, "Ugh! I can't believe I lost."

Misty, "Good job Seaking."

Melody who was watching them pouted, "Aww I wanted to kick his ass.. Ah well! I can battle Misty so that's fine."

Announcer, "Welcome to the finals of the Seaking battle competition. The winner will get a mystery Egg specially bred by the breeders from Unova. The second runner up will get an evolution item set.'

Ash, "From Unova?"

Lucario, -Wishing you had a Seaking?-

Ash gave a grin, "Not really, just surprised."

Referee, "Begin!"

Misty, "Rain dance!"

Melody, "Double team."

The Seakings belonging to the two girls fought valiantly, they were not going to let their trainers down. In the end Misty won with a clever use of ice moves and water moves mixed in. Melody sighed but smiled and congratulated Misty on her win. The award ceremony went without a hitch and Andrea coming around apologizing to them about his earlier attitude. After the ceremony Brock mentioned Jhoto was having a breeder contest in Bonitaville.

Ash, "Awesome!"

Gou, "You are taking part right?"

Sorrel, "We both are."

Serena, "Cool! I have been wanting to watch."

Chloe, "Let's get going."

Verity, "Yeah!"

Casey, "Let's get going then."

Max, "I can't wait."

After reaching Bonitaville city Brock and Sorrel registered for the breeder's competition at the Pokemon centre. Brock mentioned Ash could Regis as well, since he did have a beginner Breeder's card but Ash declined stating that he was only good at taking care of his registered Pokemon. Ash point blank admitted he would not know what to do with a Pokemon who would be a stranger to his senses.

Brock frowned, "To your senses, are you saying your aura would prevent you from helping?"

Ash, "It wouldn't, no but since my aura doesn't recognize them. It would be harder to care for them without trying to claim them. Something that I believe the Pokemon's trainer would not be amused with."

Verity, "Yeeesh! That's quite a conundrum you got there."

Serena eyed the Pokemon, "Although it does explain a few things."

Max, "Like what?"

Casey, "Like for example, the Pokemon who hatch from Poke eggs mostly know what their mothers look like, unless you are a Togepi."

Gou, "But the Pokemon who hatch around Ash directly refer to him as their parent regardless he is human or Pokemon."

Sorrel, "This is fascinating, why am I hearing about this now?"

Melody shrugged, "We are kind of used to it."

Chloe, "Yeah, it has been happening around us for so long."

Misty muttered, "We didn't even realize it was not exactly normal."

Brock turned to Steelix, "Remind me to be extra sure if I ever show the desire to go aura active."

Steelix nodded, "Liiix!"

Lucario laughed, -Do not worry Brock, the reason Ash's aura acts like that is because he is a protector. Unlike Riley who is a fighter and Yellow who is a healer. I have a strong feeling if you do go active you will be a healer like Yellow and you don't have to worry about claiming tendencies.-

Verity, "There's a difference?"

Lucario nodded, -Healers heal Pokemon, fighters answer directly to Legendaries and represent them in battle and finally protectors like Meema. They protect any Pokemon who come to them. It's where their tendency of claiming Pokemon with aura comes from, they are a safe home from danger.-

Abra, -Yellow explained it last night after we booked our rooms. Meema is the coolest.-

Ash, "I didn't even realize I was doing that and I don't know if I can stop myself from doing it either. This is new to me."

Misty hummed, "Well I know who to put as my trustee for my Pokemon should anything happen to me in the future."

Serena, "Misty! Don't talk like that, nothing will happen to you."

Misty raised her arms, "Relax, I meant as a precaution, just in case. Besides I get a feeling I will be a fighter."

Ash, "Are your senses sharper?"

Misty, "Mind closing the door and windows? I have something to show you all."

Max, "I'll get the door."

Melody, "The windows are closed, what's up Misty?"

Misty looked at Starmie who encouraged her to speak up, "Yeah, I will just show you guys."

Ash watched as Misty's aura appeared, "You can use aura now."

Misty stopped, "Not like you but yeah, close enough."

Ash grinned large and bright, "Welcome to the family sister!"

Misty blinked before bursting out laughing, "I yeah, I don't know why I was expecting a different reaction."

Gou, "We should tell Yellow and Riley."

Serena, "They would be thrilled to have another aura user around."

Verity, "That's so cool but it looks kinda different from Ash's. It feels more watery, I guess?"

Max, "Yeah, feels like the ocean."

Melody, "Oh I once heard a tale about a Water Aura User. It is said that she was capable of using water type attacks just like her Water Pokemon."

Sorrel, "That is very fascinating, you have to tell us the whole story, please."

Melody, "Okay so it goes like this."

Melody started to tell them the Legend about the Water Aura User who was said to be a descendant of the First Lady of Shamoutii Island. It is said that a Water Aura User could visit and open the gates of the Legendary infamous City Pokelantis. According to legends that City is considered the origin of Water users while Rota is where the first ever Aura User was born. The Water Aura User was considers the Guardian and protector of Water type Pokemon, capable of commanding them during dire straits.

It is said that many years ago while Sir Aaron stopped the World War up North, it was a Water Aura User who stopped the War in the far South. Sadly however just like Sir Aaron, the Water Aura User had used her ultimate combo move to get the Water Pokemon to stop fighting each other. A move that combined rain dance, disarming voice and a reverse life dew which reversed the damage everyone received. Ash and Misty listened wide eyed, it was already hard to make one Pokemon move to make three moves simultaneously.

Ash, "That's one hell of a powerful Guardian."

Misty nodded, "Yeah, what Pokemon did she use, any idea?"

Melody, "She had four Pokemon with her, at least according to the tomb we have, it's four in number. They are a Gyarados, Starmie, Slowking and Lapras."

Max, "Well, you have a Starmie and a Slowpoke. You just need to wait for him to evolve."

Serena nodded, "Yeah, but promise me you will not do something stupid, okay?"

Misty, "I won't do anything stupid."

Casey, "Hey, Serena calm down okay."

Gou, "Yeah, we are safe here."

Serena mumbled, "Sorry, the last run in with Team Rocket brought back memories from Kalos."

Ash, "We understand Serena, trust us, we do. We all have memories, we rather bury and forget. So you are not alone, you got us to catch you."

Chloe hugged the blond, "We are right here, Sere, don't worry. We won't go anywhere we don't want to go without a fight."

Serena, "Un, sorry for freaking out. I don't know what got into me."

Gou shook his head, "Don't worry about it. Hey let's have a sleepover tonight. Tomorrow's is a big day for Brock and Sorrel right?"

Sorrel, "I would like that."

Brock, "Sleepover sounds fun. It has been a while since we had one."

Ash, "We can even help you brush up for the first and second rounds."

Max, "Which are written test and Pokemon care."

Melody, "That will be fun."

Casey, "We can order in, the Bonitaville special for dinner. It's really awesome."

Serena, "Fine by me."

The group decided to relax and changed into their sleep wear before meeting in the largest room, which was the girl's room. They moved the beds to the side and laid out futons instead in a circular manner with the short table and it's contents between them. They had a question round first then, Brock and Sorrel took over caring for the Pokemon for the night. Although Abra, Eevee and Absol were reluctant, they didn't put up too much of a fuss about it.

They allowed the two Doctors in training to take over their care for the night but only for the night. When the food came they enjoyed eating the speciality which consisted of a special sushi which was available only in Bonitaville, yakitori, tempura, sukiyaki and steamed rice. Ash enjoyed the sukiyaki and rice the most, although the sushi was delicious as well. Max seemed to enjoy tempura the most and Ash let him have his tempura as well, which Max ate a bit sheepishly.

Gou, "If I didn't know Max is from Hoenn, I would have sworn you two were siblings."

Brock, "Yup, you spoil him just like you spoil your Pokemon."

Ash, "Really?"

Max mumbled, "I don't mind."

Chloe who was next to Max, 'Of course you don't.'

Misty, "Hey Ash?"

Ash, "Yeah?"

Misty, "I know you told me every sense gets dialed up to the max when the aura activates, so how do you turn it down?"

Ash, "What do you hear?"

Misty, "I can hear a baby cry and a mother try to calm the baby down. There is a couple making out up North and a guy singing in the showers opposite that direction."

Ash, "Oh! Oh dear! Lucario, aura muffs, quick!"

Lucario manipulated his aura into the shape of ear muffs and passed them to Misty, -You will have to learn to filter the noise out. This is just a temporary solution.-

Misty nodded, "I understand, in fact I'm hoping to find my own Riolu soon."

Ash, "I could ask Riley if the Lucario kingdom have a Riolu egg. Though I won't make any promises."

Misty, "Appreciated. You know, these are very comfortable."

Lucario, -Thank you. I suggest turning in for the night. Tomorrow you will be having a one on one training session with Ash and I. We will help you learn to manipulate your inner aura first, then outer.-

Misty smiled, "I'm happy, I'm not dealing with this alone."

Ash, "You were there for us when we needed help. No way, we are leaving you high and dry over this."

Verity had stars in her eyes, "If you need anything just tell us."

Chloe, "We will do our best to help."

Misty smiled brightly, "Thanks everyone."

The next day early morning, Misty went with Ash to train and try to get her newly activated powers under control. Trying to meditate was a challenge in itself with the whole world around her seeming ten times more vibrant and alive. So from early morning all the way till breakfast, Misty meditated and got a little hang of it. After breakfast they wished Brock and Sorrel, the best of luck for the written exam part as they got back to training.

Hope you all liked this chapter. I have been wanting to introduce Misty as an aura user for a while now. I have noticed there aren't many fanfics about her as an aura user. :D
