Ash, "Let's go Tyrantrum."

Gary, "Dragonite your turn."

Referee, "Begin."

Ash, "Dragon breath."

Gary, "Twister!"

Everyone was on the edge of their seats as the two dragons clashed sending shivers down their spine at the dragon aura that flew from them. The dragon breath and twister mixed around creating a powerful paralysing tornado which made Gary sweat drop just a little bit. He called Dragonite to not get caught in the twister while he heard Ash call Tyrantrum to stand back and take cover from the combined attack. It took a while but the twister with dragon breath died down soon enough and both dragons jumped back into action with dragon tail and dragon claw.

Announcer, "This us so exciting, a clash between two dragons. A King from the past vs the new reigning dragon type."

Lance was watching with interest, 'Looks like I have to keep an eye on Gary as a possible Dragon Master.'

Gou, "Something on your mind, boss?"

Lance, "I was thinking of young Oak there. I received his paper on Haxorus, Dragonite and Altaria lines. I must say I am impressed by his work on the three Dragon Pokemon."

Gou, "Gary knows what he is doing. In fact, between Ash and Gary, I say Gary has always been the voice of reason. Ash always listens to what Gary has to say and he never dismisses it."

Lance raised his eyebrow, "Are you saying he dismissed what others said before?"

Gou, "Well, not right away he did not, but if it was irrelevant to him, he tended to dismiss it after a while."

Lance, "But he does not do that with Gary?"

Gou, "Ash once told us, Gary was someone who stuck to facts, even though he can be very arrogant and full of himself sometimes and drive you up the wall."

Lance chuckled, "I knew someone else like that and I suppose I can understand why Ash listens to him. I do too though many times I want to chuck them into the lake."

Gou snorted at that description having a feeling he knew who it was that Lance was talking about. Dragonite was now using dragon dance while Tyrantrum was using rock tomb to bury Dragonite. It was a little comical to watch, with one dragon dancing while the other one was trying to bury said dancing dragon. The announcer was the most excited as they detailed literally every movement and expression on the two dragon Pokemon. In reality, both dragon types were getting annoyed by the announcer and shot an attack at the loud speaker.

Ash, "You good?"

Gary, "I mean Dragon types have a strong sense of hearing."

Ash, "You were being too loud announcer."

Announcer, "Apologies, we will change the treble and volume."

Ash, "Thank you."

Gary, "Appreciated. Now, use thunder wave."

Ash, "Rock slide."

Dragonite roared and released a wave of thunder and Tyrantrum roared as well raising a wall of rock by using rock slide in the reverse direction. Tyrantrum would not be affected by the electric attack normally but since it was another dragon there was a chance he might get paralysed. Tyrantrum rushed around the wall after the thunder wave died down and tackled Dragonite who grunted and got up. They started to grapple against each other shouting out roars and trying to bring the other down. Ash covered his face as the dust and stones started to kick up because of the two dragons.

Ash, "Head smash."

Gary saw Dragonite get pushed back, "Do not back down yet, use aqua tail."

Tyrantrum growled as he was hit by the water attack but it did not stop him from attacking with another head smash. To say Dragonite was annoyed was like saying it is difficult to raise dragon types because of the financial situation. Dragonite snarled at the rock dragon who hissed back at him in anger, in fact, both dragon types realized that the other opponent was stubborn. The two then started to bite and pull on each other making the arena very bloody much to everyone's growing horror.

Ash, "Oh no! This is bad."

Gary, "They will both enter an involuntary state of outrage at this rate."

Ash, "Tyrantrum time to end this."

Gary, "Dragonite enough, let's end this once and for all."

Ash, "Scale shot."

Gary, "Draco meteor."

Lucario barked, -Psychic types, you better up the power of your shields.-

Alakazam, -You are joking!-

Lucario pulled Ash back, -I am not. We will take care of our trainers. Protect the audience.-

Haxorus grabbed Gary and covered him as scale shot and Draco meteor was fired from both Pokemon. Lucario stood in front of Ash creating a shield of aura to prevent him from getting hurt by the wild dragon aura and double attack. Lucario grunted as his aura shield was hit by the full force but Ash held him sending his own aura to help. They could hear the audience shriek as the psychic shield almost cracked under the two powerful dragon attacks. Lance was up as he stared at the screen in worry with Gou who was holding Cinderace tightly. The dust cleared as the attacks died down and both Haxorus and Lucario were sporting burns from shielding their trainers.

Gary, "Haxorus! Are you alright?"

Ash, "Lucario! Your arms! Fuck!"

Lucario, -I am fine Meema. Tyrantrum though.-

Ash, "Right, sit down. I will have a look."

Gary, "Return Haxorus. Thank you my old friend for protecting me."

Referee, "Both Pokemon are down. Should I start the count down?"

Ash saw Tyrantrum, "Not required. Return Tyrantrum. You fought like a King today."

Gary, "Return Dragonite. That was really awesome buddy."

Referee, "About your fifth Pokemon."

Ash, "Sorry but he was injured keeping me safe."

Gary, "Same! Let's jump directly to the final battle."

Referee, "Very well. Choose your final Pokemon. Red box is leading with one win."

Gary smirked, "Well then, shall we Ashy boy?"

Ash, "Of course Gare bear."

Gary, "Let's go Blastoise."

Ash, "Time to shine Charizard."

Lucario smirked, -He will get his long awaited match.-

Gary, "Haaaa! What fun!"

Referee, "Begin!"

Gary, "Water gun!"

Ash, "Flame thrower."

The water and fire type started off using their most iconic moves and the battle started all over again. The audience who had been grasping each other in fear finally calmed down and took their seats. They watched with pale faces as the two trainers on the battlefield did not even twitch as they moved on to the next battle. It was like the audience did not exist for them, only each other and their promised battle. Everyone silently agreed to themselves that high level Pokemon trainers and their Pokemon were in a different level entirely. Azumarill sat down as she stopped using her moon blast in reverse to create a shield around Misty and the other girls.

Misty, "Those two never change."

Chloe nodded, "Whether training together or facing each other in a tournament."

Melody, "Seriously?"

Serena, "I have not been present when they train but that's crazy."

Lance sat down on his chair laughing, "The new generation indeed."

Gou, "I think you mean the crazy generation."

Lance, "Potato, potato. Still the same thing no matter how you pronounce it."

Gou, "So, what do you think?"

Lance, "Gary will require a bit more finesse but I have no doubt he will become a fine Dragon Master."

Gary, "Hydro pump shell smash."

Ash, "Charizard stand your ground using growl and use dragon claw."

Charizard growled as his claw glowed with dragon type energy and hit Blastoise as the turtle hurtled towards him at high speed. To be honest Ash was not expecting Gary to have already figured out how to combine shell shock and hydro pump. Watching it in person was definitely a lot better than watching it on the screen. The power behind the two moved when combined could be seen so Ash decided to use growl to try and lower the impact of the combo a little. He knew his Charizard would not move away from the attack, he has become obsessed with battling against his type weakness.

Gary, "Blastoise aqua tail."

Ash, "Grab him! You know what to do."

Gary, "What are you?..... Oh hell no! We are not falling for that trick. Do not let him touch you no matter what."

Ash, "Do not let him escape."

Jessie was laughing, "Ash looks so unhinged once he enters serious battle mode. I should challenge him to an S - ranked Pokemon battle myself."

James nodded, "Me too! It is a wonderful way to de - stress for us and our Pokemon."

Tomo, "I want to be just as strong."

Meanwhile Charizard had grabbed on to Blastoise's shell and flew off to the sky with Gary telling Blastoise to escape. Charizard went on a loop once, twice, thrice and then flew to the ground at top speed. Gary not wanting to loose easily called for Blastoise to use flash canon. Blastoise struggle to release his canon but just as they almost hit the ground a loud bang went off. The audience watched with a bated breath as the dust cleared and both Charizard and Blastoise were still standing. Then both Pokemon stumbled and Blastoise fainted which was followed by Charizard after the referee announced Ash the winner of the Silver Conference.

Ash, "Sorry, got to rush to the centre. Come on Lucario."

Lucario, -Let's go.-

Gary, "Me too. My Pokemon are done for the day."

Reporter, "Wait! But we have so many questions.... "

Lance chuckled, "I figured they would do that."

Gou, "I will send a date and time for a press conference to them by email."

Lance, "Do that. I get the feeling they are going to have a long awaited talk tonight."

Gou, "Yeah, I am glad Gary is his first choice in a way. Whatever the secret Ash wants to tell him, Gary will be able to look at it objectively and give the best advice."

Lance, "Oh? So you knew Ash was planning on telling Gary about the other organizations across the different regions."

Gou was surprised then nodded, "Yeah, I know myself and the others know themselves really well. We would loose our temper easily and try to go after them."

Lance, "But Gary won't? How can you be so sure?"

Gou, "Because Gary always managed to keep Ash calm or brought him down from his anger after one talk."

Meanwhile Gary and Ash were met by Red's Mewtwo who was there with the Mewtwo Ash and the rest had met at Mt Quena. The older Mewtwo was showing the younger one the excitement of a proper Pokemon battle and the younger Mewtwo admitted to enjoying watching. They offered to seal off the room to other psychics and nosey people so they could talk peacefully. It had been Red's idea after Ash had talked with him about telling Gary the truth of his past life and why he ran into the crazy. Gary sat down across Ash as the ravenette started to tell him what he has told Red a year ago.

Gary, "Damn! A second life."

Ash, "You do not find it weird."

Gary, "Ash, Phantump is a reborn child, in fact half the ghost Pokemon are reborn people. It is not that weird honestly speaking. Now, tell me more about these organizations."

Ash, "Okay, mind you, what I saw was just a small part of this whole world. I have no doubt reality is different from a kids show."

Gary, "A basic information is better than nothing at all. Yes, we should start treating your knowledge as basic information and then keep adding more to it."

Ash, "Gary."

Gary, "Yeah?"

Ash, "Thank you."

Gary, "No problem! Now, organization name, leader names, secondary leader name, string fighters if any."

Ash, "Right you already know about Team Rocket, next are Team Magma and Team Aqua."

Gary, "Those two are famous for their destructive turf wars."

Ash, "Yeah, that's one thing that is in common with the show I watched though it was shown at the very end."

Gary, "Leader names!"

Ash, "Archie and Maxie, at least that's what the closest people called them."
