Ash, "Oh no! Cyndaquill be careful."

Whitney, "Sentret focus."

Sentret hissed, "Tret tret tret sent sentret."

Whitney, "Yes, I know, I know. She ruined your fur. But loosing your temper will not help."

Ash, "Flame wheel."

Whitney, "Water pulse!"

Sentret put all her anger on water pulse making it bubble with boiling water inside it while Cyndaquill used flamewheel. Sentret jumped on Cyndaquill just as Cyndaquill attacked her with flame wheel. The two attacks created a misty blast that covered the field in a thick mist. When the mist cleared up both Cyndaquill and Sentret were breathing hard and glaring at each other before falling.

Referee, "Sentret and Cyndaquill are unable to battle. This match is a draw. Choose your next Pokemon."

Ash picked Cyndaquill up, "Hey there, girl. You okay?"

Cyndaquill nodded, "Quiii."

Ash, "You did a good job, get some rest now, okay?"

Cyndaquill nuzzled Ash's hand, "Cyn."

Whitney, "Return Sentret, thank you."

Ash, "Let's go Totodile."

Whitney, "Your turn, Jigglypuff."

Referee, "Begin!"

Whitney, "Gyro ball!"

Ash, "Rain dance Totodile and use water gun."

Totodile danced around and dodged the gyro ball attack as he used water gun on Jigglypuff and made him wet. Jigglypuff shook her fur which was wet and growled at the water starter who laughed at her. The normal fairy type growled and attacked again using gyro ball and Totodile used rain dance again while dodging her.

Ash, "Totodile use ice fang."

Whitney, "Play rough, don't give in."

Jigglypuff gave a shout and attacked again using play rough while Totodile used rain dance again to dodge the attack. The water type used rain dance to increase his power and focused on putting all his powers into one strong attack. Jigglypuff attacked again and Ash told Totodile to stay calm and wait for the right moment to counter. The water starter dodged Jigglypuff some more before finally attacking her using ice fang stopping her in her tracks. Totodile kept holding on to the fairy type for as long as he could before Jigglypuff shook him off.

Jigglypuff growled as she shook her body, "Ly jig ly JIGGLYPUFF!"

Totodile grinned, "Todo todo totodile."

Ash, "Now Totodile use aqua tail!"

Whitney, "Try to break out of the ice Jigglypuff. Use gyro pound."

Totodile attacked with aqua tail and Jigglypuff attacked after escaping from the ice using gyro ball. Jigglypuff used pound just as aqua tail hit her and both Pokemon were blown back and fell to the battlefield.

Referee, "Both Pokemon are unable to battle, since Ash still has one Pokemon left standing he has won the plain badge."

Ash picked Totodile up, "You okay there buddy?"

Totodile shook his head, "Totodile to."

Whitney, "Thank you for the valiant battle Jigglypuff."

Jigglypuff gave a tired thumbs up, "Jiggly jigglypuff."

Whitney, "I'm proud to present to you the Plain badge. Well done, Ash."

Ash, "Thank you, Whitney. We did it guys, we won the Plain Badge!"

Totodile, "Totodile."

Lucario, -Well done.-

Eevee, "Vui."

Abra, -Congratulations.-

Absol, "Absol Sol."

Whitney, "We can continue our Ace battle in five minutes. Let me clear up the field first."

Ash, "Sure."

Ash returned to his friends grinning as they congratulated him, "Thanks everyone."

Casey, "Your Ace battles are gonna be exciting to watch."

Max, "I can't wait to watch Snorlax battle."

Brock, "It'll be interesting."

Gou, "I'll record it."

Serena gushed, "Totodile is so adorable. I want a dancing Totodile too."

Misty, "Ummmm... I think Ash's Totodile is the only dancing Totodile in the world. My sister had one and she never danced."

Melody, "Huh... That's some luck."

Ash, "Don't you dare!"

Chloe, "She's right though, that's some luck."

Max snickered, "Your freaky luck is showing again."

Ash grumbled, "It's nothing like that, also I would not have ever met Totodile if it weren't for the damned poachers."

Whitney called at that moment, "We are ready to battle Ash."

Ash, "Got it."

Ash turned to Brock, "Could you give Magby, Cyndaquill and Totodile a check up?"

Brock, "You don't even need to ask. Leave them to me."

The referee spoke as soon as Ash took his place, "We will now have a three on three Ace battle. As per a student's request this battle will be aired live for the apprentices to observe."

Ash blinked, "That's new."

Whitney, "Observing is a good way to learn new things."

The referee continued, "There will be no substitutions and the winner will be decided by the last Pokemon standing. Choose your first Pokemon."

Ash, "Let's go Miltank."

Whitney, "Let's do this Furret!"

Referee, "Begin!"

Ash, "Roll out!"

Whitney, "Work up!"

Miltank rolled towards Furret who used work up to increase his strength while dodging the attacks coming towards him. The two played a game of cat and mouse as they rolled around the battlefield trying to get a hit in while avoiding being attacked.

Whitney, "Focus punch."

Ash, "Zen headbutt!"

Furret jumped and attacked using focus punch and Miltank retaliated using zen head butt. Furret hissed as he waved his paw after separating while Miltank shook her head grumbling about the headache.

Ash, "Use sunny day to recover followed by solar beam."

Whitney, "Furret rest followed by agility."

Ash, "Be patient Miltank. Wait for it."

Miltank narrowed her eyes as she focused on building up her strength and gathered solar energy in her system. She watched carefully as her opponent moved from one place to another and got closer and closer to her to attack using focus punch. She thinks it's focus punch, but it didn't matter she would be ready to answer him with her own attack and over there! Miltank didn't hold back despite being hit by a powerful punch she let her solar beam release at a point blank range and then knew no more.

Referee, "Both Pokemon are unable to battle, there is no winner. Choose your next Pokemon."

Ash, "Return Miltank, thank you for the battle."

Whitney, "That was one powerful solar beam though I can see your Miltank is not used to it."

Ash, "We are working on it. Miltank is more used to water type attack. Solar beam is the opposite of water."

Whitney nodded, "That is true. Well then, shall we continue?"

Ash, "Hell yeah!"

Whitney, "Let's go Miltank."

Ash, "Go Tauros!"

Referee, "Begin!"

Whitney, "Roll out!"

Ash, "Tauros, you know what to do with horn attack."

Tauros smirked at his trainer and powered up his horns and lowered them to the ground just in time to catch Miltank before throwing her upwards. Miltank shrieked as she was thrown up to the air and before she could land she was caught by Tauros horns again and was thrown up again. The female Pokemon cursed the male Pokemon using every name under the Sun but Tauros didn't care and continued teasing her. Lucario however had created ear muffs using aura and covered the younger ones ears the moment Miltank started to curse.

Abra protested, -I can't hear.-

Eevee, "Vui vee."

Absol whined, "Sol Sol."

Lucario, -It's nothing you need to know.-

Jolteon who was beside Casey nodded holding Espurr's ears, "Jol jolt."

Max sweat dropped, "I'm kinda glad I don't know what they are saying."

Misty snickered, "Judging by Ash's face I think he knows."

Brock noticed Ash looked torn between laughing and being embarrassed, "I didn't know he could understand other Pokemon that were not his now."

Lucario, -Not completely but he gets the gist of it.-

Max, "Ah!"

Ash, "Ahem! Take down!"

Whitney, "Miltank use stomp!"

Tauros moved away just as Miltank came down with a pissed off stomp attack and used take down on her. Miltank not wanting to loose to the male used milk drink and recovered half of her strength and attacked again using stomp. Tauros used zen headbutt though and the two of them were in a stalemate before Tauros used swagger.

Whitney, "Hyper beam."

Ash, "Dodge and use sunny day followed by fire blast!"

Miltank powered up her hyper beam while Tauros focused on increasing the heat using sunny day. Miltank attacked Tauros who used endure and stood his ground against the attack making Ash worry, he was supposed to dodge it not take it head on. Tauros then grunted and shot a powerful fire blast at Miltank getting a shriek of pain in return.

Ash, "It's become stronger."

Tauros grinned despite wincing but his eyes were on his opponent who was still standing strong, but after a while fell to the ground.

Referee, "Miltank is unable to battle, Tauros win the match."

Ash, "Alright! Great job Tauros!"

Tauros sat down exhausted, "Ouuuus!"

Ash, "Use sunny day and rest to recover."

Tauros nodded and used rest and sunny day to recover his strength as Whitney returned Miltank and chose her last Pokemon.

Whitney, "Let's go Ursaring."

Ash, "Holy Spirit!"

Tauros, "Ouuuus!"

Max was looking at the Ursaring wide eyed, "Wao that's one large Ursaring."

Serena gulped, "I'm glad I am not the one facing them."

Melody muttered, "No kidding."

Referee, "Begin!"

Ash, "Take down!"

Whitney, "Hammer arm."

Ursaring grunted as he raised one of his arms and hit Tauros just as he used take down. The two Pokemon grunted under the force of the power behind their attacks. Ash winced on hearing clash between the two Pokemon, that sounded painful though the Pokemon didn't look phased at all.

Whitney, "Now!"

Ursaring growled as he grabbed Tauros and used a powerful seismic toss to knock him out. Tauros being the stubborn bull he was still got up with shaky legs and grunted.

Ash, "Use rest Tauros, and stay calm."

Whitney, "Do not give him a chance to recover and use fury swipes."

Tauros sat and used the move rest to recover some strength while he endured the attacks from Ursaring. Ursaring was causing a lot of damage despite the rest move bring used and from the corner of his eye he could see the worry in his trainer's eyes. His trainer had always hated seeing them get hurt, so he decided he would put his all in this one attack which was the opposite of the previous elemental attack. Tauros opened his mouth with a grin and let loose an ice beam just as Ursaring brought down a powerful hammer arm on Tauros.

Ash, "Tauros!"

Whitney, "Ursaring?"

Tauros was obviously out cold but Ursaring was half frozen to the field.

Whitney, "Use sunny day quick."

Ash, "Tauros buddy can you get up?"

Referee, "Tauros is unable to battle, Ursaring won."

Ash, "Return Tauros, thank you for the battle. Let's do this Snorlax."

Snorlax appeared infront of the thawed Ursaring and gave a greeting, "Snorrrr."

Ursaring looked at him and grunted, "Ur."

Referee, "Begin!"

Ash, "Yawn!"

Whitney, "Dig to escape."

Ursaring dug inside the battle field to avoid falling asleep due to the move. The bear Pokemon appeared on the other side of the field and gave a smirk. Snorlax tilted his head and yawned again and the bear Pokemon dug again, this went on for a while till Ash told Snorlax to stop.

Ash slapped his cheeks, 'Note to self, do not ever spam yawn.'

Whitney pinched her hand, "Ow! Ow! Ow!"

Max was out like a light, Gou, Serena and Chloe being close to falling asleep, Casey, Misty, Brock and Melody slapped themselves to stay awake however. The audience which had come in during the fight were half asleep as well before shaking themselves awake from their sleep. Ash sighed to himself, at least everyone had a good nap.

Ash, "Belly drum!"

Whitney, "Focus punch, do not let him complete the belly drum."

Ursaring attacked using focus punch as Snorlax used belly drum. The attack landed on Snorlax and the sleep Pokemon allowed the attack to land on his belly only for it to get bounced back. Ursaring looked at Snorlax flabbergasted but then got am interested look on his face realizing what the other Pokemon had done. Snorlax had used belly drum to make himself stronger and more resistant to his attacks.

Whitney grinned seeing Ursaring's look, "Oh my! It looks like you got Ursaring very interested in this battle. Usually he has a bored look."

Ash grinned, "Really? We are honored!"

Snorlax nodded in agreement, "Snorrr!"

Whitney, "Double team followed by hyper beam."

Ash, "Snorlax sandstorm followed by fire blast."

Ursaring used double team to create many illusions around Snorlax and Snorlax retaliated using sand storm. The sand storm lashed out at the illusion making the sand pass through most of them except for one that flinched. Snorlax turned towards him and used fire blast to attack him making him loose his control over the illusion. Ursaring moved out of the path of the attack and used hammer arm to attack Snorlax.

Ash, "Focus punch Snorlax."

Snorlax used focus punch to answer Ursaring's hammer arm and the two Pokemon grunted before separating.

Ash hummed, "Snorlax prepare another sandstorm followed by focus punch and fire blast."

Whitney narrowed her eyes, "Ursaring keep your guard up."

Ursaring nodded and used double team again this time however he didn't flinch when Sabrina hit his face. Snorlax does not let it stop him and used fire blast to attack every illusion and make it disappear while Ursaring attacked using hammer arm. Ursaring's hammer arm hit Snorlax on his belly again annoying Ursaring and Snorlax gave a gentle smile. Ursaring's eye twitched at the smile and stared at him suspiciously only to give an oof as he was punched with a focus punch.

Whitney, "Ursaring!"

Snorlax didn't stop at that however and held Ursaring in a bone crushing hug before letting out a large yawn. Ursaring growled and used thrash but Snorlax held on as he used yawn over and over again making the bear Pokemon fall asleep.

Referee yawned, "Ursaring is unable to battle, Snorlax wins the match zzzzzzz..... "

Ash sweatdropped, "Oooopsie! I think we overpowered the last move too much."

Snorlax sheepishly rubbed his head, "Snorrrr snorrrr lax."

Whitney laughed, "No kidding, everyone is asleep."

Ash turned to his friends and sweat dropped at how comfortably they were sleeping on the audience stands. The Gym Leader and trainer looked at each other before bursting out in laughter at the result. Whitney shook her head and thanked Ash for the interesting battle and if he ever wanted another battle she would not mind having another challenge. Ash thanks her for the offer and went to wake his friends up and went to the Pokemon center.
