Sabrina, the sweet addict

You know I wasn't going to upload this, but then I noticed I was almost done editing it so might as well, also because on Monday I will be busy with more of my tests so no guarantee on those.

---

A few minutes ago

Sabrina Teleported to the outskirts of town, the place where she felt the Black fog last, but she had no idea where to start, and to not raise suspicion she decided to blend in with a Kimono.

The Kimono in question was one her mother got her as a present, it was a bit much for her, she preferred simple solid colored clothes, but her mother always said she was pretty enough to be an actor or model so she always tried to dress her like one.

The Kimono was the only exception because her mother begged her to keep it for celebrations, like New Year's or her birthday.

As she was walking in she looked around at the festivities, as much as she wanted to remain serious she immediately saw Candy Apples and almost floated to them with a (¯﹃¯) expression, she had a thing for Sweets since she was small.

She told everyone it was because of her Psychic Powers but they never stopped teasing her about it, so she went to one stall, then another, then another, until she held her sweet treats and kinda forgot what she was there for.

When she was on her last Candy apple and was looking for a new stall for more sweets she heard something that caught her attention, "Black Fog,"

Hearing that she almost dropped her last apple as she remembered the entire reason she was there and walked over to the direction of where she heard the voice.

When she got through the crowd of people she saw 4 People standing in a huddle, the first was an orange-headed girl but there really wasn't anything special she could feel about her. The second was the Old woman who was telling the story. She also didn't have anything special about her, but her eyes seemed to be different from normal.

The third was a girl with Yellow hair, she could sense that she was just like her and had significantly more potential than any of her students. If trained right she felt as if this girl could one day rival her.

The last was a boy, she couldn't get a read on him, but she felt a powerful resonance emanating from him. The air around him seemed to shimmer with a harmonious blend of colors, and trying to look into his mind she was immediately pushed out.

If it were her students who did the same they would have been on the ground clutching their heads, but Sabrina was strong enough to hold it in, she decided to push that aside and focus on what she was here for.

She finished her Apple and threw away the stick, then she walked forward and asked, "Interesting, I don't suppose you can tell us anything else can you?"

Back to the present

Ash was looking at Sabrina and was holding back the urge to make a face seeing that she was here. But thankfully had practice in making a Poker face so he just looked like he was a confused kid.

Looking at Sabrina now it didn't seem like she was crazy like in the Anime, but there was no guarantee she wasn't crazy like in the Adventures Manga. So he still had his guard up ready for anything.

The old lady looked at Sabrina up and down and frowned but quickly fixed herself, "I'm sorry young lady but why do you ask?"

"I need to know as much as I can about the Black fog as I can, simple as that," Sabrina said

The old woman frowned, "And may I ask why?"

"..." Sabrina stayed quiet, "Because I need answers, and I want to stop this monster, one and for all."

"What makes you believe I have these answers you seek."

"I know you do, you know something about the Black fog, and you know about a way to stop it," Sabrina said, crossing her arms.

"*Sigh* I suppose you found my secret, haven't you Lady Sabrina," The Old woman said, "Yes I do know something, like how the Black mist has awakened and I have reason to believe it will be targeting this town today."

"What makes you so sure about that? If it escaped wouldn't the best course of action for it, be to attack Lavender Town where it was being kept." Sabrina asked, getting suspicious.

The Old woman looked at Sabrina with a dumbfounded look, "Oh I don't know 3 Special People, one of which is debatably the strongest Psychic in Kanto, and two more, I don't even know what they are."

"Besides that, if it doesn't think they haven't prepared a counter for it then it would be dumber than a bag of slowpoke tails."

Sabrina frowned, "OK then, now what do you know about stopping it."

"It is too powerful to be beaten by anything less than a Champion, I'm sure you know that just as good as anyone, and our Champion is currently still in Johto." the old woman said, surprising Sabrina since she hardly heard about Lance leaving for Johto for business, it wasn't something that would be said to the public for obvious reasons.

"So the only way I know how to stop the monster is to reseal it, specifically in a Pokeball." Sabrina went from surprise to confusion.

Before she said anything the old woman continued, "I know what you're thinking and the answer is simple, all the surrounding towns have been preparing a special ball called the Enormo Poké Ball-X1, it's exactly what it sounds like, a big Poké Ball to catch the thing, we have one in this town, but unfortunately I can assure you, they will not let you have it, even with your rank."

Sabrina kept an indifferent poker face and turned around, "We'll see about that, I thank you for your time but I have work I need to do." Then she walked off.

The old woman sighed and then looked at the three who were just standing there the whole time, "I am sorry for what you had to listen to," she said bowing.

"It's no problem really," Yellow quickly said, trying to not let her lower her head.

"So that is Sabrina, much more emotionally stable than the rumours said," Misty said looking back at wherever Sabrina disappeared.

"Yes, I am sorry but do you remember when I asked you to leave this town for the night." the old lady said, mainly looking at Ash.

"Yeah, what about it."

"I would like to ask you instead of leaving to stay and help Lady Sabrina, she is too close to this and nobody is going to talk her out of doing what she is about to do, so can I ask for you to support her."

Ash looked over to his two companions then back to the old woman, "What makes you think we can do anything, you said it yourself, whatever that Black fog you are talking about is we would need a Champion rank trainer."

"Yes, but I had a feeling when I saw you, and your blond friend over there, something tells me that you may have what it takes, of course if you refuse I will not blame you, it is the reasonable thing to do in this situation."

Ash sighed and looked over at Misty and Yellow, Yellow was nodding excitedly and Misty seeing Yellow mumbled, "And here I thought we could have a vacation."

Ash sighed and gave a nod to the Old woman, "I can't promise we will change anything, but I can promise we'll do what we can."

A few minutes later

The three were looking for Brock, the Old woman gave them some more information but it wasn't anything Ash didn't already know.

'Let's see from what I remember the Black fog was something that appeared in the Electric Tale of Pikachu manga, it was a Haunter that killed People and Pokemon by eating their souls, also in the Manga it ate Sabrina's soul.'

'But from what I remember it happened in Lavender Town, not in a random tourist city, also the giant Pokeball didn't even completely work, it just severely weakened it, but then again I only know about as much as that so all this could just be random nonsense.'

As he was thinking about things he was snapped out of it by Misty poking his cheek, "Hey Ash, earth to Ash, anyone in there?"

"Yeah, what?"

"Do you think when she talked about Special people, she meant like what you and Yellow are?"

"Don't say it like that, it defeats the whole purpose of trusting you guys with the secret, also probably," Ash said the first part more enthusiastically than the second.

"*Sigh* only you can still act like a carefree toddler when something like this happens, anyway what do you think of the whole conversion between those two."

"It's kinda obvious, Sabrina has a history with whatever the Black mist is, so much that she left her gym duties to come all the way out here."

"Wait one second," Yellow said getting both of their attention, "that lady was a Gym leader?"

Both Ash and Misty sighed, forgetting that Yellow was a sheltered Potato, "Yellow, I don't know if I say this enough, never change," Misty said, putting her hand on Yellow's shoulder.

Yellow looked more confused than before.

They continued walking around looking for Brock and found him dancing with a few of the girls, then after the dance was over he did the special, got to one knee, and confessed his love, Misty was about to go over and rag him away, but Ash stopped her and pointed behind Brock.

Graveler went out of his ball, picked Brock up, and dragged him away.

As Ash and Yellow walked over to Brock, Misty felt like she lost something, something that defined her character as a whole, for about 2 seconds when she snapped out of it and walked over.

They found Brock trying to escape Graveler's grasp to go back to the dancing girls, so Misty went over and did the only logical thing, Pulled his ear, it just felt right.

"Ow ow ow, Ok Ok you don't have to pull on my ear," Brock said, rubbing his ear.

"I know, I chose to Pull it, anyway stop being yourself it's not doing you any favors," Misty said feeling satisfied.

"Alright, alright, anyway It's starting to get dark, you guys wanna get something to drink or something as we wait for the light show," Brock said finally being released by Graveler.

Everyone just nodded along and went over, meanwhile, they explained to Brock the basic gist of what was apparently going to happen and how Sabrina was here.

"Sabrina here, that is surprising, I think the last time we saw each other was back in the last Gym leader conference.," Brock said

"Sounds like you guys are friends," Yellow said currently feeling Ratty, an apple

Brock looked down, "Don't remind me, I tried multiple times, but she never noticed me, at least the sensational sisters gave me a glance every now and then at the conferences." Ash patted his back as he sulked.

Sabrina was standing in front of a small shack with spell tags covering it, and 2 guards standing out front.

"Ms. Sabrina we must insist, you are not allowed to enter." one of the guards said.

"I told you already this is of the utmost urgency, the Black mist is going to come back," Sabrina said trying to make sure things don't escalate.

"With all due respect, you don't have proof of that, and we can not simply take your word for it in a case like this, if you wish to have access to the temple you must receive permission from the elders."

"We do not have time for that, I sensed its energy coming from this town so we need to prepare," Sabrina said when suddenly they heard something, not just them but the whole town.

Inside all of their minds were laughing, "Jie JieJie Jie."

Everyone instinctively looked at the statue of the Maiden, and from the sky came its crumbled head. and floating above it was a large fog that opened to reveal two large red eyes.
