67 Nothing happened

Misty was flying over on top of Pidgeotto making her way back to the meeting point they all agreed on. She was currently looking down at her Pokeballs, she went in with 4 left with 3, but only 2 of them were originally her's.

She thought back to the day she swapped them.

(Flashback no Jutsu)

It was a couple of days since their parents returned, over that training, they all trained together under their father's eyes, if they started slacking then they would get a good scare from his Gyarados.

Misty in particular was freaked out the most since when she was small she crawled into this Gyarados' mouth, although she tells everyone she was almost swallowed, Kai's Gyarados is a sweetheart he would never even think of hurting any of them, but by the time she understood that the damage was done.

It was so bad that she refused to even get close to Magikarp, which made training with Ash awkward at times, although she didn't outright hate them, she still hated bugs more.

But 1 day after they were done training Misty was sitting by the water as she let her Pokemon out to relax, and from the water a certain Magikarp approached her, seemingly recognising her.

Misty could tell which Magikarp this was, it was the one she was given, she wanted to train her into a powerful Gyarados, but now she looked at her with a complicated expression. Although Misty tried making her go away she would always come back.

"You know that silly fear of yours isn't going to help with anything." a voice came from behind Misty, looking behind her she saw her mother Marigold.

"I know, as a water-type trainer I shouldn't be afraid of a water Pokemon," Misty said looking down at Magikarp

"I was talking about your fear of bugs, but I suppose that is also a problem," Marigold said, chuckling slightly.

Misty's eye twitched a bit but said nothing, "I don't understand you Misty, you realized it was your fault and Gyarados was never going to hurt you, he even apologized to you, and yet you are still afraid of them, you even refuse to train the Magikarp we Bred for you."

Misty looked at Magikarp swimming around her, "I know but-"

Marigold put her finger on Misty's mouth, "No buts we are having an intervention, you can't hope to be a proper water trainer with this fear of yours."

Misty was dragged away by her mother to meet with everyone and went through her therapy session.

The last day before Misty would leave again came, over the time she was there she let Seel stay at the gym with Staryu since it was a bit redundant to have both of them with her other Pokemon. After multiple trial and error and some training, Misty held a new Pokeball, well 'New' since the ball was old but it was new since it was a different Pokemon.

When Misty was about to climb on Pidgeotto Marigold was the first to approach and hugged her daughter and started doting on her, "How mean, your mother just returned and all you can think about is leaving again how could you,"

Everyone sweated a bit seeing this since this was all too common, "Mom calm down, besides it's not like you were going to stay for much longer."

Kai walked forward and put his hand on his wife's shoulder, also slightly pulling her back, "Come on honey you know she is right, we were only going to stay another week to make sure Daisy, Violet, and Lily could be somewhat ready to be left alone."

Marigold pouted but then she remembered something she wanted to do and pulled out a long jacket and gave it to Misty, "It's about to get colder so take this jacket, it's the same kind I had when I was your age."

The jacket in question was white and looked like a hoodie, it was actually 2 sizes too big so when she put it on her fingers barely showed and it reached down to her shorts.

(Okay so looking at a calendar and Japan's seasons we are starting to approach the end of August which would be the end of summer meaning that Fall is coming up.)

Misty looked at her family and thought of this entire experience and hugged her parents, "We missed you, don't worry I'll stay safe after all if I can't do that how can I take over the Gym from my Helpless sisters" Misty said the last part by almost 'fainting'.

Daisy, Violet, and Lily looked offended, "H- w- OK you're not wrong but you didn't have to say it."

Misty chuckled and hopped on the bird and looked back at her family and waved at each other as they waved.

Fearow was flying, Yellow already picked Brock up from Pewter and they were making their way back.

Brock was making some small talk with Yellow but she was lost in thought thinking about what Wilton told her before she left.

(Flashback no jutsu part 2)

"Your parents were both famous researchers they were known to never stay in 1 region for too long."

"Your parents tried to settle down when they had you but old habits die hard so they made an agreement to have one final big adventure. They left you with me since the place they were going was considered undiscovered land."

"Now from what I know there was an expedition team that went with them, but half of them never returned but those that did say that they met a Pokemon. But their stories didn't match up some said it was a bird pokemon, others said it was a dragon, some said it was 1 pokemon and the other said 2, one even said they were legendaries. But they did say one thing that they were blown all over the place."

Yellow stayed silent as Wilton continued, "But over some years some of the expedition team have shown up again but your parents haven't, although we know at least your mother is alive."

Wilton pulled out an old-looking note from a desk inside the house reading, "Wilton you are probably surprised even seeing this letter from me, but you should know I am ok although I am searching for my husband we were separated by 2 Pokemon honestly I am not exactly sure where I am but I'll send Butterfree with it, Please take care of him since he may be injured because there seems to be a storm around the place. Take care of Yellow for me and don't tell her until she can beat you.  - Sincerely your Big sis(○｀3′○)"

Yellow was silent looking at the letter before she spoke up, "Is that everything, don't you know anything else?"

Wilton smiled, "I do know more, but how about I tell you when you can beat the rest of my Pokemon." Wilton said, gesturing at her now-tired Pokemon.

"Well it's getting late, I'm going to bed, you should rest up too, you have a long journey to get to tomorrow," Wilton said walking off.

Yellow also went to bed thinking about what he said, however during the middle of the night when Yellow and her Pokemon were sleeping, Wilton sneaked into her room and took her straw hat.

He went into the kitchen and pulled out a box and a sewing kit, from the box he pulled out something that came with the letter and a separate note that read, "P.S. When Yellow finds out and gives her these without her knowing."

From the box she pulled out 2 feathers, the Rainbow wing and the Silver wing, he put them on the inside of her hat and then returned it to her room, and nobody knew a thing.

The next day Fearow was waiting impatiently, and Wilton was about to give a heartfelt speech when suddenly.

Brock poked Yellow who was spacing out, "Yellow, you there? Earth to Yellow, hello,"

Yellow blinked awake out of her thought, "Hue, y-yeah, yep what did you say?"

"I said we're probably going to land in a few minutes, I can see Vermilion from here," Brock said, pointing into the distance.

"Oh yeah, I wonder what Ash is doing?"

(With Ash)

Ash had his left arm in a cast while he was sitting on top of Poliwhirl doing pushups, "So 1 more day then the cruise happens, right old man."

Surge was sitting on top of Machoke as he was doing pushups, "I told you to stop calling me that I'm only 38."

"And I told you you are already 10 years older than my mom yet here we are. Besides, half of my ribs are already broken so there's nothing you can do to me to make me stop." Ash said with a big smirk. 

"Whatever, but anyway you surprised me, kid you had more progress than when I was twice your age, if you joined me in the war you would have flown through the ranks."

Admittedly even though the whole experience made him want to break Surge in half, it was quite beneficial, he learned to actually fight, his Pokemon got good training under a more experienced source, and most importantly he finally got a 6-pack….he still wants to break Surge's arm.

"Anyway kid you should probably get some rest there isn't much else I have to teach you, I guess you can continue training your Pokemon but I'm pretty sure that Pikachu of yours is unconscious," Surge said pointing into the corner of the room where Raichu was poking at Pikachu, and Pikachu himself was sparking like loose wiring. 

"Probably going to need to take care of that, anyway I should be able to take off this cast before the cruise,"

"Honestly I'm surprised you have both knowledge about Pokemon and Human treatment, it's rare for most people other than Joys to do even one of those, you would have been invaluable back in the war, if only." Surge remained in his past.

Ash ignored him and walked off outside and thought back to his current progress, currently the New berries he planted are growing well and should be ready in about a week, also since Charizard is a Charizard he has finally started using the Good stuff he got back in pallet to start making Very high-quality Pokeblocks.

Honestly, he would just give all of his Pokemon the high-quality stuff but if he did that then it is like trying to teach a child the alphabet with a dictionary. It is technically possible but over time it will make the Pokeblocks have less effect, but with them, Charizard has been getting stronger terrifyingly fast he could probably take down Erika without taking any damage, he thinks he doesn't really know how Erika is different.

Anyway, over the time he was there, he ran into Chloe again and spent some time catching up then teasing her, and he would have pulled the ultimate move any guy can do to a girl, hang out with her mother.

But he had to relocate since he almost had to take care of the Goh problem, then Gengar tried doing his thing again so he ran away from that.

Ash sighed and sat down on the beach and looked at Abra, "Are the preparations ready." 

"(•̀ω•́)✧" Abra nodded wanting praise for her hard work, so Ash gave her a bag of chips.

He sat down and looked up seeing his 2 birds conveniently show up in the sky at the same time. When they saw each other and saw Ash, they both looked at each other and blinked, and everyone knew if they blink then it is on, so they dived trying to get to Ash first, ignoring the screams of the passengers.

Fearow managed to win barely, which he didn't forget to rub in Pidgeotto's face, meanwhile, his friends were probably traumatized.

Ash walked over to them, "Well, well, well look who finally decided to show up."

It took them a bit to finally get off without falling over Brock was going to greet Ash until he saw Ash with a cast and bandage under his clothes, "Are you OK? What are you bandaged all over?"

"Don't be ridiculous, It's not all over," Ash said, lifting his shirt showing his chest with some bruising, "I'm fine here it's just that half of my ribs are broken." 

"Jeez, what happened."

Ash smiled, "Nothing happened."
