124 Ninja Forest

I did it! I finally found out, it nearly killed me but I figured out why the original series is so stupid.

Basically, the lead creator for the anime was drunk most of the time coming up with ideas for the original series, which explains why in the original ending he planned to make all the Pokemon fight back against the trainers led by Pikachu, but he died before he could even start making the episode and that is why Pokemon lasted as long as it did.

The matches finally ended, Giant won and Anthony agreed to return home, and that was the end of that, no abandoned Monkey today.

Of course Ash tried to congratulate Giant but he seemed to want to avoid him, I wonder why.

Yellow seemed to have remembered that Ash was still going to do something, so she had been sneakily scooting away and hiding behind Brock.

So they went back onto the road and after going around some detours created by construction and Diglett, which led them to the south path, they were only at about a day or two journey to reach Fuchsia.

But there was just one problem, well not a problem more of an inconvenience, they were currently deep in the forest and lost, and Ash could somewhat remember something about this place but he wasn't actually too sure.

Eventually, they all stopped to have a rest and recuperate, in the meantime they would look for the best exit for the forest on the map.

Primeape and Scizor were still out training to catch up with everyone, Beedrill was out since she liked the forest, and Brock was looking at the map. Ash didn't really pay attention since he felt something getting closer.

He waited for a moment as everyone was doing their own thing. He only snapped out of it when Brock snapped in his face, "Ash you there, something wrong you seem out of it?"

"Hold that thought, Primeape punch that rock!" Ash said pointing at a seemingly random rock.

Without hesitation Primeape sped past everyone and landed a powerful punch that shattered the rock, and from out of the rock came a boy and a Pokemon.

The boy was sent flying back and landed on a tree with his Pokemon that Ash recognized as a Ninjask.

The boy shook his head and quickly got up and pulled out a Kunai, "Drats, you found us, you fiends won't get away with this any longer you will now face the Ninja Evian!"

Everyone: "..."

{5 seconds later}

Evian was tied up in webs hanging off a tree, and his Ninjask was next to him with spirals in his eyes.

"How could this be, I am a ninja, to be captured by fiends, how shameful."

Ash rubbed his hand across his eye since now he remembered what this was from.

"Hey, I don't know what you're talking about but we aren't whatever you're talking about, we were just looking for a way to Fuchsia." Brock called out.

"I can't be sure, such suspicious figures roaming this secret forest, you must be deceiving me."

Ash sighed, "Ahh yes, a boy with a bright red hoodie, a girl with Yellow hair and a sunhat, another girl with a white jacket and wearing shorts, and a boy with mountain gear, truly a crack team of stealthy Villains."

"I admit that you don't look conventional, but that doesn't change your suspicion!"

After way too long going back and forth eventually they managed to convince the 'ninja' that they were actually just passing through the forest so they let him down. And Clefairy healed up his Ninjask.

"I'm sorry for accusing you, it's just I was worried that someone was coming to do something to our Ninja School."

"Ninja School? How come we never heard of it?" Yellow asked

"Well we wouldn't be good Ninjas if people did know." the boy said, "By the way I'm Evian and this is my Ninja partner Ninjask."

"Well I'm Brock, that's Misty, Ash, and Yellow from left to right," Brock said introducing everyone.

"Nice to meet you, sorry again I'd point you in the right direction but I don't actually know this forest all that well either, so I can't tell you the exit, but if you'd like I can take you to the academy."

Misty clapped her hands, "Alright the sooner we can get directions the sooner we can leave this forest."

Brock and Yellow looked at Ash and he just shrugged, "Not like we have a better idea."

Brock nodded and looked at Evian, "Then let's do it."

Evian nodded and got back onto his feet to start walking, although his Ninjask was leading them more than him. Meanwhile, everyone followed, Yellow had her Pokedex and was trying to scan Ninjask, but she wasn't getting anything.

She poked Ash in the back to get his attention and showed him her dex, "Why is my Pokedex not working?"

"Oh yeah, you don't have the national dex do you," Ash said as he handed his dex to Yellow, "It's a Hoenn native Pokemon, here go wild."

It took a bit of time, and eventually, they were led to a large dojo area, the most interesting thing is that it looked like it was Fuchsia's dojo instead of an independent one like in the anime.

Walking into the actual facility he could see about 3 other students training Against random dummies.

Almost immediately as they stepped in they heard a stern voice call out, "Evian, why have you brought outsiders to our sanctuary."

That voice gathered everyone's attention as people were starting to look at them, and then a person appeared in front of them, it was a girl with a pink scarf around her neck and a blue ponytail, next to her was a Pokemon that Ash recognized as a Shiftry.

The girl in question was named Angela, and although she looked to be about 2-3 years older than the other students she was a teacher. Of Course, Brock wanted to flirt with her, but with the combination of Misty and Zubat, they stopped him.

Evian immediately bowed, "Angela, I made a mistake and attacked these travelers mistaking them for evildoers, so I wanted to make it up to them by giving them directions to exit the forest."

Angela's face didn't change as she looked at Evian, "Very well, we can give them directions, but first, they must prove themselves."

Ash sighed in the background, 'Of course, old-school Pokemon with a side-quest, wouldn't be complete without it'

But as soon as he did that he immediately sensed something so he held out his hand and caught something, a Shuriken.

Immediately a second woman appeared who looked to be in her early 20's, recognized her as Aya, Koga's younger sister.

Immediately Misty was the first to Yell out, "Hey what was that, you could have hurt somebody!"

"Hey calm down, they're fakes, only made of plastic see," Ash said as he snapped the star with his finger.

"But it still would have hurt if it did hit me, soooo," Ash said looking back up into the trees, "Yeah what is the big Idea."

"Impressive reaction time, a shame your impatience drags you down, so tell me would you prefer to be somewhere else," Aya said as she jumped down from the trees.

"Yes exactly so can we make this quick" Ash said bluntly, making Aya's eye twitch.

"Well, then it seems like I have just the challenge, if you wish passageway out of the forest you must defeat every trainer in this Dojo," Aya said, looking smugly.

".....And?" Ash asked

Aya was taken aback, "And what?"

"And is that it, do I have a time limit, a handicap, can I only use 1 or 2 Pokemon?" Ash said with a smile growing on his face.

In the background Evian and Angela looked at everyone and pointed at Ash, collectively they made them, 'You get used to it' face.

Meanwhile, Aya frowned looking at Ash, "How arrogant, I doubt you'll even get past the students, but if you insist, you must beat everyone and that includes me as well."

From the background, Angela and Evian raised their hands, "I'm not a part of this x 2"

"It's fine we will be more than enough to defeat this child," Aya said with a smile of her own.

Ash rolled his eyes as he rolled up his sleeves, and got in place.

{1 minute 37 seconds later}

Ash was unrolling his sleeves as there was now a pile of unconscious Pokemon and surprised trainers(Ninja). 

"So about that arrogance~," Ash said playfully looking at Aya.

"Wow I am glad we chose to sit that out," Angela said looking from the side.

"Yeah, that was barely a battle, more of a slaughter." Evian agreed 

Clefairy was already walking around and slapping a few [Heal Pulses] getting the unconscious Pokemon up.

"It seems that I am still not strong enough," Aya mumbled as she got up, "Very well I can admit when I have lost."

Aya got up and gestured for everyone to follow her inside the dojo, but as soon as they started walking they heard the loud sounds of crying from the forest and rapidly approaching.

Ash took one step back and grabbed Yellow and Misty by the back of their shirt, making a brown blur barely rush past them, and headbutt Brock in the stomach.

Brock was sent barreling down into the ground as on his stomach was a small tree that Brock and Ash recognized as a Bonsly.

The little fake tree was crying and stomping on Brock's chest until Angela quickly walked up and started cradling the Bonsly.

"Sorry, this little guy just appeared one day and none of us have been able to calm him down, he usually runs in and out of the forest before anyone can do anything about him."

Brock got up slowly and walked up to Angela to look at the tree, "A Bonsly, those are rare, especially finding one here in Kanto."

Brock looked at the little tree for a moment and reached into his bag, "Have you all fed this little guy?"

One of the students spoke up, "We tried feeding him some berries once but he just slapped them and ran away."

Brock pulled out a bottle and started making a formula, "Well no wonder, this little one is still a baby, he can't eat solid food yet."

After a moment he finished the bottle and looked towards Angela, "May I?

Angela nodded and handed the little tree to Brock who started bottle-feeding him the formula, which he drank quickly. After he finished he took a breath of satisfaction, then headbutted Brock demanding more.

Aya looked over and was going to raise a finger but Misty held her hand out and slowly pushed her hand down, "This is more common than you think."

Aya just nodded and just turned around indicating for everyone to follow meanwhile Brock was still being attacked by the small tree.

[A few minutes later]

"I see, so you are aiming to challenge the Gym in Fuchsia City, no wonder you are so mighty," Aya said as she was sitting across the now trio.

"Though you must know but the current Gym leader is far mightier than I,"

"I kinda expected that," Ash said with Pikachu taking a nap on his lap, "Not like I was going to challenge the gym right away, I wanted to make a quick trip to the safari zone first."

"So you sure you don't want to become Ninja, at least for the day, we can do all sorts of cool things," Angela said.

Ash shook his head, "I'm fine, and I doubt that these two would want to stay in the forest for much longer."

Misty punched Ash in the shoulder, "Hey, just because it's true doesn't mean you have to say it!"

"Very well, then we won't halt you any longer, but you should probably go check on your friend," Aya said still hearing the sounds of headbutts outside.

"I am getting kinda worried for Brock," Yellow said, slightly peeking out of a window.

When they walked out they saw Brock sitting down looking dizzy with another bottle in Bonsly's mouth.

"I finally got him to calm down," Brock said, looking tired as Bonsly finished the last bottle and was finally full.

Angela walked over and said, "I can take him off your hands," Brock just nodded

But as soon as Bonsly left Brock's hands he opened his eyes and slammed into Brock again with tears coming out of his eyes.

"What now, I already fed you," Brock said as he picked up the tree and it looked at him with teary eyes.

Angela smiled and bent down to pat Bonsly, "I think this little one wants to go with you."

"Is that ok?" Brock asked, looking surprised as he looked at Bonsly.

"Of course, it is, after all, Bonsly doesn't have anyone here in the forest, he is all alone so if you could give him a nice home that would be wonderful."

Brock looked at the little tree and held out an empty Pokeball, "Well what do you say then?"

Bonsly gave Brock one more headbutt then pressed the Button going into the Pokeball with a 'ding'.

Yellow quickly went over to Brock and gave a big smile, "Congratulations, you finally got a Grass type!"

Everyone stopped for a moment and looked at each other, only for Ash to look them in the eyes and smile.

"I'm gonna tell her" as he started walking toward Yellow

Making everyone collectively grab onto Ash and cover his mouth
