My Pokemon Team Ideas [15]

Raihan didn't get the title of champion and the influence of one in the anime, but that can always change. Even if it didn't, we would still have a champion level trainer with no responsibilities as a gym leader (For a while) or a champion as one of our backers.

Which would terrify anyone that would want to harm us, so I really doesn't matter what happens to his future as long as he correctly develops the way his counter part did.

Raihan has successfully signed up with my company as a sponsored trainer! He's still developing his Pokemon quite nicely, His team so far has evolved to my knowledge between me and him messaging each other because of the resources we were able to provide with.

Who knew that this was the final step he needed before being able to challenge Peony to be the final gym leader. Of course Leon has beaten him already quite a lot of months ago, but this doesn't take away his achievement of almost being able to complete the gym challenge in the third shortest time in Galar history behind Leon and Chairman Rose.

But that's only if he beats Peony, which im pretty confident he will see his Pupitar learnt sandstorm which in turn can help him set up his amazing sandstorm comboes. Raihan excels at two verses two battles a lot, which isn't surprising to me since he did battle you in his gym in the same setting.

But watching his battles was extremely different. His Pokemons comboes and coverage were top notch and with their trainers quick and precise commands he basically rules the field in a sandy environment.

Which is funny considering he's a dragon specialist.

Right now im writing in my notepad about what Pokemon I want on my team. First of all it's not really guaranteed on what Pokemon will be on my team, but I'm still gonna target specific types of Pokemon.

Obviously I gotta catch some wild Pokemon or buy some league bred ones because seeing my resumes of all gifted Pokemon doesn't make your achievements that impressive Pokemon wise. But battling wise it really doesn't matter.

For a Pokemon I really want and not sure on catching is Lugia. I'm not talking about the big buffed ancient one from the movies but the one in the anime where a baby Lugia is caught by team rocket.

I'm pretty sure saving the guy would earn its trust and make it easier for me to train him up. It's just genuinely a good Legendary to have as a backup or on my team. It depends if the league allows me to use him if I catch him.

Another Pokemon I'm considering catching for my kanto team is Crystal Onix. It's an Onix which is resistant to water attacks because of his crystal body. In turn this makes it so his weakness as a Steelix is reduced from four down to three.

More Pokemon for my Kanto team include the royal starters of Kanto. It's possible for me to use my advanced knowledge of the anime to find these guys but nothing is guaranteed so I can't really predict they will actually be where the anime says they will be.

A pokemon I will definitely go for when I start my journey is either Aerodactyl or Kabutops, these two Pokemon are extremely rare and valuable Pokemon that can't be found anywhere in the wild. Which in turn makes them hard to counter and difficult to predict.

For my Galar team I have multiple options which I wrote down to my personal preferences. These Pokemon include:

Togekiss/Gliscor

Garchomp/Tyranitar

Infernape

Metagross

Greninja/Swampert

Venasaur

The reason Venasaur is allowed is because a Pokemon given by a Professor can be used across different leagues as long as its level isn't easy to balance out with your newer Pokemon. Which won't be a problem at all as I will be on a journey with two leagues at the same time.

On another note a can't decide between Togekiss/Gliscor and Garchomp/Tyranitar. Gliscor and Tyranitar would have amazing synergy in double battles but official battles only consist of one versus ones which leans me more to using Togekiss and Garchomp more.

The decision on Swampert and Greninja is unsure but will be touched upon later as they will be caught later on in the journey.

A tad bit of information on my Chimchar is that he is a Monster. He has the abilities [Iron first] and [Speed Boost] which greatly confused me. First of all Pokemon can have more than one ability apparently depending on their parents and that not all Pokemon will have abilities corresponding to the games which will make me super confused.

This is the reason I picked Chimchar. He has Iron fist which increases the attack power of punch hits by 20%. Combine that with stab (Stab is adding 50% more attack power to a move similar type to the Pokemon) and speed boost which makes him faster the more adrenaline he feels, one of his punches will equate to a total of 75 attack power with a 70% bonus PER PUNCH for fire punch!

Which it turn makes a move like fire punch a 127 base power move and thunder punch a 90 base power attack. So this made choosing a Chimchar over any other fighting type of Pokemon for me. So worth it.

Imagine me boosting him with aura like Ash in the worlds series. Busted.

My current Kanto Team I want right now looks like this:

Venasaur

Nidoking

Arcanine/Charizard

Alakazam

Gengar

Cloyster/Blastoise

Crystal Onix

Aerodactyl

This team looks pretty balanced to me right now. The only problem here would obviously be Charizard, Blastoise and Abra. Im able to have seven Pokemon but not use all in a battle as the maximum is six.

Gengar might not even be used for my team besides for the Psychic type gym as he naturally makes a great protection for anyone trying to harm me or look into my mind.

Charmanders are practically impossible to find in the wild and the one that gets abandoned by his trainer is too emotionally impacted for me to spend my time being his therapist, which is harsh but when your doing two leagues like me I don't got time for that.

Don't know where to find an Abra might ask Professor Oak for one and for a squirtle I can just go find a squirtle squad. But a shellder is a pretty good replacement if I can't find the squirtle squad.

Yeah that's my notes on my teams so far, this can change depending on what happens on my journey but it doesn't matter much as nothing is garenteed.

"Colson it's time!" I can hear my mother shout "Your sister Lily is already here ready to head for summer camp!" Hearing this I start to run down the stairs.

"I'm on the way mum!"
