1 Chapter 1 Jungle Escape

One fine morning, Hu Yang woke up to find himself in a body that was twenty years younger. After some time, he came to terms with the realization that he had somehow traveled through dimensions.

Just six hours ago, Hu Yang was a programmer selling modified Pokémon online. He had recently received a massive order for 300 top-grade pvp Pokémons. He was about to stay up late working on these Pokémon modifications when something strange happened. As he changed one of the creatures, his surroundings grew dark, and when he opened his eyes again, he was in a whole new world.

After observing a green insect crawling near him, Hu Yang determined that he had entered the realm of Pokémon. As a devoted Pokémon fan, being in this world was a dream come true, even though he was alone.

However, his current situation was less than ideal. Unlike others who had crossed dimensions, he hadn't landed in a bustling city but in an uninhabited forest. He had just escaped from an area populated by Caterpie, only to find himself in the territory of Beedrill, territorial and easily agitated Pokémon.

Beedrill was staring him down with its intimidating red eyes and venomous Poison Sting. The situation was dire, and Hu Yang knew that if he got hit by those Poison Stings, his future as a trainer could be in jeopardy.

Amidst the tension, Beedrill emitted an unfriendly hum, confirming that trouble was brewing. As if on cue, the forest shook, and a pair of eyes glowed in the shadows like ruby gems. Hu Yang's instinct kicked in, and he bolted, with Beedrill's wings buzzing dangerously close behind him.

Navigating through the forest felt like a real-life Temple Run game. His heart pounding, he accidentally tripped and got stung by Beedrill's Poison Sting. The pain was intense, and Hu Yang knew he was in a dire situation.

In a stroke of luck, he stumbled upon a river, which offered him a chance to escape. Thankfully, he knew how to swim from before his dimensional journey. He swam with all his might, desperate to evade the menacing Beedrill. After what felt like an eternity, he reached the riverbank, safe for the moment.

Taking a moment to catch his breath, Hu Yang realized that his appearance had transformed to his ten-year-old self, despite his original age. His clothes were drenched, and he assessed the wound from the Poison Sting. Fortunately, his clothes had provided some protection, but he was poisoned nonetheless.

Hungry and in pain, Hu Yang sought out options for survival. He spotted various berries on the trees, reminiscent of the Pokémon world's healing items. He also noticed fish in the river, confirming that normal animals existed alongside Pokémon.

After a period of rest, he found himself unexpectedly in possession of a Master Ball, a legendary item from the Pokémon games. Pressing the button on the Master Ball, a Shiny Cramorant emerged. This familiar sight baffled Hu Yang, who soon realized he had access to a Pokémon Modifier tool, allowing him to alter its attributes.

Amidst this bewildering turn of events, Hu Yang knew he had to escape the forest, find a human settlement, and seek a remedy for his poisoning. The sunny sky above inspired hope as he plotted his next move, resting and contemplating his uncertain journey ahead.

Hu Yang lay down on his jacket to rest. The recent ordeal had drained his energy considerably. Through the dappled trees, he gazed up at the sunny sky and contemplated his next steps. Escaping the forest and finding a way to cure his poisoning were his top priorities.

As he rested, he felt a tug at his waist. He saw an orange-feathered Pokémon. Its chest and neck feathers were a striking white, resembling the napkins worn by people while eating. The Pokémon supported its head with its wings and regarded Hu Yang with round, unassuming eyes.

Hu Yang stared back at the Pokémon, and in the next instant, a flood of information filled his mind.

Hu Yang was astonished. This was the very first Pokémon he had used for testing in the game. It was a Shiny Cramorant from the Galar Region, an extremely strong Pokémon with exaggerated stats due to his tinkering.

The four moves it possessed were chosen whimsically by Hu Yang, not adhering to the conventional abilities. It seemed his modifications had transcended the game world and entered reality.

Even the software that allowed him to modify Pokémon data appeared in his mind:
