Yo.

I'm rewriting this.

Or, it'd be more accurate to say that I'm writing a whole different Pokemon story altogether. Why? Because of a few reasons.

1. The ending of this story would've been unsatisfying and boring. I can't promise this new story will have a satisfying ending, but it'd be leagues better than what I planned for this story.

2. This story was just a leap of faith. I would write tons of one-shots, and then not post any of them. So I decided to just say 'fuck it' and post this one. Then it spiraled into this.

3. I underestimated how large Pokemon was. There's so much shit going on and so many places and things to think about or consider. That being said, I want to restart in Kanto with a shitty Pokemon and have my character climb his way to the top.

That's what this story was supposed to be. For some reason, I didn't get that feeling though. His struggle felt artificial in my opinion.

4. This story felt too... clinical. I can't explain why, it just did.

For those interested in the basic outline of what the story was supposed to turn out to be, it would've been this-

That girl with the Zorua on her head uses Illusion Pokemon to psyche people out of the tournament, and Nova wins with a clean beheading via Pawniard.

Before training with Sol, she realizes Nova isn't really bonded with Pawniard, and forces the Bisharp gang to deal with him.

He lives with the Bisharp and Pawniard, where he learns that his he can eat Ice, Rock, and Fairy Pokemon without dying. He theorizes that 'his type' is Steel, and that people and pokemon can only eat pokemon that are weak to them or the same typing (he is correct)

He learns Aura and becomes closer to Pawniard, learning that it strived to surpass its father. He convinces Pawniard to become his Pokemon once again, this time without any 'deals' that separate them emotionally.

Pawniard's goal is now to train with 'The Human' because he can tell that staying with Nova was way more beneficial for him than staying with the other Pawniards.

Sol trains him for a few years. (Survival, battling, physical, advanced aura, plus engineering and programming on the side he teaches himself)

The mission that would take years was for her to mold someone into the ideal trainer, and for them to go out into the world and become an official trainer. They would then come back a few years later, and relinquish control of the region from the champion. (Become the champion.)

That way, they can fix the shithole that is the Vortus Region.

He gets on a boat to go to the Trainer Exam at age 15, meeting Lance, Steven, and Volkner. The 4 quickly become friends.

Lance wants to become stronger to stop the war between Kanto and Johto. Steven is running away from 'responsibility' (He's a rich heir to a mega corporation with a long line of strong leaders) and Volkner. Volkner just likes fighting and money.

Trainer exam that nearly kills him and his new friends.

He gets to the end, where he has to battle Cynthia. She trounces him, before scoffing and calling him a weakling (She was supposed to get character development later since she's a teenager rn) He still gets his license.

Here's where I stopped planning in depth, and just wrote a bunch of plotlines.

-Kalos City Auction Arc

-Battle Tower Arc

-Save Steven Arc (From his scary family)

-Mirage Island Arc

-Downtime (Random guild missions)

-People trying to Poach the MC for their region cuz he's strong.

-Giovanni (That's literally all I wrote in my notes)

-Return and Conquer (where he comes back after all those years and fucks the vortus region up, becoming champion)

Now, the MC was planned to have quite a few Pokemon.

Main Combat: Luxray, Bisharp, Gallade, Empoleon, Mamoswine, and Aerodactyl.

Support: Castform, Jumpluff, Seviper, Glaceon, Frosslass, Ditto
