A Journey To Remember

As Shaymin and Shay walk through the forest. 

"So Shay and Shaymin have begun their journey and trying to find some rare Pokemon. But let's check on how are they doing?" Narrator asks.

"Not good at all its been a long day but still did not catch any Pokemon I thought I would be able to catch at least one rare Pokemon today but sigh," says Shay looking down. 

Just suddenly the grass nearby starts to shake. 

"Woah a Pokemon?" exclaimed Shay. 

Then a Pokemon comes out 

"Rattata" says Rattata. 

It looks at Shay ready to attack. 

"Shaymin use bullet seed" 

Shaymin uses bullet seed. 

The Rattata runs away. 

"No wait stop" Shay runs behind it but it gets lost. 

"Grr that Pokemon".

He then realises he is in a meadow in the middle of the forest. A perfect spot for training and resting.

"Well, how about some training then Shaymin" says Shay getting excited and looking at Shaymin. He added "Our first gym battle is not far away you know" 

"Min" says Shaymin getting riled up. 

"Alright Shaymin show me what you got" he says waving an attack pose. 

Meanwhile somewhere else in the forest, a wild shiny Charmander is fighting with a new trainer who has a Squirtle. 

"Ha ha I will catch you Charmander if that's the last thing I do." the trainer said. 

"Alright Squirtle use tackle" commanding his Squirtle. 

Charmander dodges it and uses ember. Ember hits Squirtle. 

"Why you?" he got angry. "Okay Squirtle now uses water gun" Charmander uses dragon breath before Squirtle can launch its water gun attack on Charmander. 

Squirtle faints. 

"I will catch you next time for sure. Squirtle return" says trainer and walks away. 

"Char char char" Charmander starts laughing. 

Later as Charmander was walking through the forest 

"Alright now use hyperbeam" comes a voice. 

Charmander on hearing this looks around trying to find the source but can't see then as he moves towards the direction of the source he notices a trainer and Pokemon training. He immediately hides behind a tree to watch them more closely. It was Shay and Shaymin's training. 

Shaymin uses a hyperbeam on a rock. 

"Nice one" Shay gets excited. 

"Char?" Charmander says slowly in hiding. 

"Alright now use aerial ace" Shay tells Shaymin. 

Shaymin uses aerial ace. 

Just then Shay noticed a Pokemon above him, it seemed a Pokemon was approaching from the sun. The sky suddenly filled with a rainbow.

"Woah check it out". 

"Min?" Shaymin looks up. 

Shay took out his Pokedex and pointed it towards the Pokemon. "Ho-oh huh?" says Shay while checking his Pokedex. 

Just then ho-oh glances at Shay. 

"Huh? Did he just look at me" thought Shay. 

Suddenly Shay feels something. And something fell out of Ho-oh as it was flying. Initially, the object falling out is unclear but as it approaches closer and closer towards the ground, Shay notices it as a feather. 

The falling feather lands in front of Shay and he goes forward to pick it

"A rainbow feather?" he exclaims as he looks at the feather. Then he immediately looked at the sky but there was no trace of ho-oh or the rainbow. It seemed like nothing had happened. It was all normal again.

He looks at the feather he is holding.

"One day ho-oh, one day I will catch you for sure," he says with determination. As soon as he said these words the feather lights up and shoots a light into the sky and onto somewhere far in the mountains. 

"Woah" Shay surprised and looked towards the mountain.

"So you want to battle me huh?" says Shay. "I will come, one day before I reach the Pokemon League to battle you I promise, and once, I believe I'm ready to battle you as equals" 

The feather blinks twice and the light disappears. 

Suddenly a rumble from the stomach is heard. 

"Okay I guess that's enough for today let's head to the Pokemon Centre. I'm hungry" as he touches his tummy with his other hand. 

"Min," says Shaymin. 

Shay looks at the feather "Ho-oh" as he puts the feather in the bag. 

As they were about to leave Charmander appeared before them from its hiding spot. 

"Woah a Charmander, its colours look different. Wait, that's a shiny Charmander.." Shay exclaimed.

"Char" Charmander says in a commanding tone. 

"Hey, Shaymin I'm guessing it's challenging us for a battle. Well if it's a battle you want you got it. Can't believe my luck. I got to see a shiny Pokémon." Shay was excited forgetting about his hunger. "But huh? Where's your trainer?" asks Shay. 

"Char" says Charmander shaking his head in a manner of saying no trainer. 

"So you are a wild shiny Pokemon huh? Amazing. Can't wait to catch you. Anyway then let's battle"

As he was standing to face Charmander.

"Charmander is a fire type and Shaymin is a grass type so I have a type disadvantage but Shaymin's sky form has another type flying too". 

Charmander immediately uses ember and it hits Shaymin. 

"Shaymin are you okay" asks Shay concerned. 

"Min," says Shaymin and gets up. 

"Okay, Shaymin use air slash". 

Shaymin does an air slash and knocks Charmander. 

Charmander immediately gets up and uses a flamethrower. 

"Quick Shaymin dodge it and use a quick attack". Shaymin dodges it and uses a quick attack. 

It's effective and Charmander is knocked out. Or at least that's what Shay thought.

The knocked-out Charmander struggles to get up with all its might. "It's not giving up huh? impressive." 

Charmander uses dragon breath. 

"Woah a dragon-type move quick Shaymin, use hyperbeam". Shaymin uses hyperbeam. Shaymin's hyperbeam destroys Charmander's Dragon Breath attack and hits Charmander. 

Charmander cries "Chaaar" . 

"Oh no" cries Shay and he goes to Charmander and runs to see whether he is okay. 

He notes that Charmander is fine. But he notices Charmander still trying to get up. But Shay realises that Chamander was hurt physically but his spirit to fight has not given up. As he was struggling to get up.

"It's fine Charmander. You won so no need to get up. I won't attack you" he says and approaches Charmander slowly. "Well it was nice battling you" he says touching Charmander.

"Char char," the Charmander says while lying down and still trying to get up.

"I will battle you again for sure not right now" Shay responds.

"Char char, char".

Just then Shaymin jumps and throws a Pokeball downwards from Shay's bag.

"Do you want to come with me Charmander is that what you are saying?"

Charmander walks slowly to the Pokeball and presses the button.

Charmander enters the Pokeball.

Pokedex gives out a message.

"Charmander added to your team. Congrats Shay".

"I caught a Pokemon?" Shay asks slowly confused. He on realising what happened.

"Yes, I caught my first Pokemon a shiny Charmander," shouts Shay excitedly.

He then picks up the poke-ball

"You did good, Charmander," he says slowly to the poke ball. 

"So now I have two Pokemon for my gym battle" 

He again hears the rumble from his stomach.

"Okay I can't take it anymore needs lunch" and he starts running to the Pokemon Centre as fast as possible. 

At the Pokemon Centre

A lot of trainers and Pokemon are present there and are eating their lunch. 

Shay is also eating his lunch and Shaymin is on the table eating his Pokemon food. 

Just then he gets a call on his Pokedex. 

"Hello, Shay it's Mom"

"Hello Mom"

" So how's your journey going?" 

"Journey is going great Mom I just caught my first Pokemon a Charmander." 

"Great. And there is one more thing I wanna ask, are you brushing daily, how's the food are you eating fine. Do you want me to send you food or clothes?"

"Woah Mom slow down no need for all that I am doing fine. Where are you now Mom?"

"I am at a movie set in Kalos. Just checking in on you." 

"What about dad? Dad's in Sinnoh with Uncle Merlin" 

"Oh, I see okay Mom got to go okay will call later." 

"Yeah okay but Shay you didn't answer my question are you brushing daily or not cause if you are not then"

"Yes, Mom I am okay for now bye". Shay cuts the call.

"Shay " calls out Nurse Joy from the counter. 

Shay goes near the front desk. 

"Yes nurse joy" 

"Your Pokemon is all well and good" handing him the Pokeball. "Thanks a lot, nurse Joy" he replies. 

"Alright, Charmander let's have lunch". 

Charmander comes out of the poke ball. 

As soon as the Charmander comes out all the trainers standing behind Shay and all the trainers eating lunch nearby stop to look at the shiny Charmander.

"Woah you caught that shiny Charmander." says someone from behind.

Shay looked around and all nearby trainers were looking at his Charmander.

"So you guys know this Charmander?" asks Shay. 

"This Charmander has been challenging all new trainers in this forest for quite some time now but no one was able to defeat it." Nurse Joy responds. "All these trainers bought their Pokemon here after trying to catch this shiny Charmander badly wounded" Nurse Joy added. 

"Woah" Shay surprised and looked at the Charmander. 

"Char," says Charmander smiling. 

After finishing lunch "Alright guys let's continue our journey 

"Min" replies Shaymin.

 "Char" replies Charmander as if acknowledging Shay.

Shaymin jumps on his shoulder and Shay makes towards the exit. 

Just then when Shay exits the Pokemon center Ava enters into the Pokemon center. 

"Woah Squirtle I guess we walked a lot today but It was too much fun right?" says Ava. 

"Squrtle" says Squrtle. 

"Now let's eat lunch and rest here before heading out". 

"Squirtle," says Squirtle. 

"While eating lunch Ava starts to call her mom". 

"Mom I have reached the Pokemon center here." 

"Ohh nice have you had lunch?"

"Now I'm eating now." 

"Good. How is your journey? Going well?." 

"Yes it's been nice travelling with Squirtle I had so much fun."

"It's good to hear that darling. I am going out to give the products to the market now."

"Okay, mom will call later." After disconnecting the phone. 

"Hmm" smiled Ava. Okay, then shall we go?." 

"Squirtle" says Squirle. 

Ava and Squirtler head out. 

Almost nearing nighttime.

"Alright Charmander use Fire Fang" Charmander uses Fire Fang attack. 

"And Shaymin use, Giga Impact" Shaymin uses Giga Impact. 

Tummy rumbles. 

"Okay, I guess that's enough for today guys lets wrap up. 

"Min," says Shaymin. "Char," says Charmander. 

"Okay then, Charmander return" and aims the pokeball.

Charmander returns to the poke ball. 

"Oh man training is making me starve," he whines while walking slowly towards the Pokemon center.

And as he was walking he heard a cry from the dark side of the forest

"Helllppp" shouted a person. 

As he looks at the direction

"Come on Shaymin let's go". 

Shay starts running towards that direction. 

"Woah," says Shay. 

Shay saw a group of Spearows attacking a girl and a Squirtle lying on the ground not moving. 

"Shaymin use seed flare on those Spearows quick". 

Shaymin uses seed flare it hits the Spearows and the Spearows fly away. Shay rushes towards the girl and her Squirtle. 

"Hello can you hear me hello" he asks while holding her raising her slightly from the ground. "Huh?" she tries to respond. But loses consciousness. 

He immediately takes out the Gracidea flower and as soon as Shaymin smells it he changes to his sky form,

"Shaymin quick, go to Pokemon Center and get Nurse Joy here with help quick" he says. 

"Min" Shaymin responds he immediately flies off.

He takes out his Pokeball.

"Charmander, come out," he says.

Charmander comes out.

"Keep using, the flamethrower upwards it's pitch black around here, someone may notice us".

"Char" Charmander responds and starts using the flamethrower upwards.

Meanwhile, in Pokemon Center, Shaymin immediately goes to the front lobby and starts calling Nurse Joy. 

"Min min min," says Shaymin flying. 

"What happened what's wrong? Who's your trainer? asks Nurse Joy.

Shaymin starts to point outside with a sad expression. 

Nurse Joy notices this and immediately runs outside and from afar notices a fire going upwards.

She senses some trouble. 

She goes immediately with the ambulance following Shaymin towards the forest.

Meanwhile,

Shay grabs water from the backpack and starts sprinkling over the face of Ava. "Hello can you hear me" says Shay. He sprinkles water over Squirle, and Squirtle wakes up. He saw Shay and saw him close to Ava. It started to attack him with a water gun. 

"Squirtle I am trying to help her I'm not causing any harm.".

Charmander on seeing this gets ready to attack Squirle.

"No Charmander don't do what I told" 

"Char?"

"Keep using the flamethrower above"

Squirle notices the Charmander and Charmander speaks to Squirtle.

He then continues his flamethrower.

Squirtle comes to know what Shay is doing from Charmander. Squirtle goes near Ava. 

By that time Shaymin reaches the spot along with Nurse Joy and her assistants. 

"Nurse Joy this girl was attacked by a group of wild Spearows along with this Squirle," Shay explains. 

"Nurse Joy placed her hands on Ava's forehead and under her nose to check whether she was breathing or not. 

"She needs medical care now," exclaimed Nurse Joy.

The assistants pulled out the stretcher and placed Ava and Squirle" 

"Nurse Joy can I also come with you to the hospital" asks Shay 

"Yeah okay, that would be so helpful" Nurse Joy responded. 

"Alright, Charmander return" Shay goes inside the van. 

Inside the van, Nurse Joy started giving her first aid and glucose. 

"Is she going to be fine Nurse Joy?" asks Shay concerned. 

"She'll be fine no need to worry" 

Ava suddenly gains consciousness 

"Where am I?" she asks. 

"It's fine I'm Nurse Joy rest now everything will be fine." 

Ava goes back to sleep. Shay and Shaymin feel sad seeing this and, look at each other. 

The ambulance was heading fast to a nearby hospital.

Meanwhile in hospital

Nurse Joy comes out of the room where Ava was admitted. 

"Nurse joy how is she?". 

"She is fine now and is sleeping, she doesn't have any major injuries she will be discharged tomorrow just some minor scratches here and there" Nurse Joy explains.

"Do you know her?" asks Nurse Joy. 

"No" Shay responded. 

"Her name is Ava" 

"Ava huh" Shay confirms. 

"I have to head to Pokemon Center now could you stay tonight here in the hospital I have arranged a room here if that's okay. Her mother will arrive tomorrow she lives in Pallet town. She told me to give you her belongings. You can give it to her tomorrow, okay?". 

"Okay nurse Joy thanks for everything" 

Nurse Joy leaves. 

Shay looks into the room where Ava is admitted through a glass window in the door. 

Then he starts heading towards his room. Just then his tummy grumbles. When Shay looked around he saw a cafeteria.

Shay starts hogging down the food from the cafeteria. 

"Oh I am full" says Shay after eating the food. 

"Min," says Shaymin. "Char," says Charmander. 

"Come on guys let's head to the room now" says Shay. Shay gets up Shaymin along with Charmander follows Shay. 

Shay is in his room lying down in his bed thinking about the girl's situation. 

"How scared she must've felt when those Spearows were attacking her while her Pokemon was unable to battle. Hmm" thinks Shay. 

"Min?" says Shaymin approaching him. 

"It's nothing Shaymin," he says as he turns to the other side and closes his eyes to sleep.

Meanwhile, in another place in an unknown location, a castle is shown.

Inside the castle 

"Sir our scouting team have returned with more Pokemon's and trainers on our side. The mission is going according to plan" said a trainer dressed in a specific uniform. 

"Excellent work Jina," said Malcomm. 

"Don't stop, send more scouts and procure strong Pokemon and trainers to our side. And tell Vein to meet me" says Malcomm. 

"Will do sir consider it done" she responds and leaves. 

"Sir we have also completed the research on the necessary items required for the contact process but you see Pokemon's should be uh Pokemon's should be.." A man dressed in a lab coat struggles to complete the sentence bowing down to a man sitting on a throne in the dark. 

"Do it and start the gathering process" responded the man in a very harsh tone. 

"Sss sure sir as you wish….". 

Just then a boy enters 

"Father I am all set on going for my journey tomorrow so I'm heading to Kanto" the boy says. 

"Oh is it? Good, get stronger Vein you know what our goal is right? Get stronger don't show any mercy only then will the preparation for the contact process be complete. Defeat everyone who comes in your way. Don't ever lose" Malcolmm added. 

"I know Father I will get stronger and, I will have the power to control control it I will control them all" Vein replies. 

"Excellent, so did you choose your starter Pokemon huh," asks Malcomm. "Yes this," says Vein showing a Malamar 

"Hmm interesting a ghost type I see" Malcolm smiles. 

And as Vein turns to head outside.

"And one more thing," Malcolm spoke.

Vein stops and turns.

"Get the list of legendary Pokemon's in Kanto and go catch them all to our side. They may not do that willingly if you know what I mean" 

"Of course father" replied Vein. 

"Giovanni and Team Rocket will be of assistance if you need them" Malcolm added. 

"Okay," says Vein. 

"Then leave now," says Malcomm.

Vein starts to leave. 

"Jina" shouts Malcomm. 

"Yes sir," says Jina running. 

"Contact Giovanni and tell him to make necessary preparations for him" Malcolm commands. 

"Will do sir" she responded. 

"Hmm" with an evil look in his eyes, Malcomm adds. 

"World, enjoy while you still can soon you will all be mine," says Malcomm slowly looking up in the window where the nightfall and moon are shown. A helicopter is shown taking off from the castle. 

Inside the helicopter a close-up shot of Vein

"I will become the strongest trainer there is I need to in order to control it," thinks Vein inside the helicopter. Lightning strikes…

"Spearows, spearows go away ah help" Ava screams and suddenly wakes up from the nightmare. 

It was the next day morning. 

"Baby, are you okay now" asks a lady from the side. 

As she looks at the source of the voice.

"Mom?" asks Ava surprised.. 

"What are you doing here? Where am I?" she asks. 

"You are in the hospital right now you were attacked by a flock of Spearows last night, remember?" her mom adds. 

"Oh, so it was not a nightmare". 

She, then suddenly remembers about her Squirtle. 

"But where is my Squirtle?" she asks abruptly. 

"It must be in the Pokemon Centre." Mom replies. 

"Who informed you about this incident Mom?" asks Ava. 

"Nurse Joy, of course, she called me yesterday night" 

"Oh right" Ava sighs lying back on the bed. 

Later in the morning, while Ava was freshening up coming from the washroom. 

Doctor enters with Shay and Shaymin on his shoulder comes in the room. 

"How are you doing now Ava," asks the doctor. "I'm very much fine doctor thanks," Ava replies. 

"He was the one who informed Nurse Joy immediately about the incident as quickly as possible." the doctor adds.

And as Ava looked at him coming out of the washroom she froze. 

"This boy, Shaymin no it can't be" Her mind runs off to a lab fire incident that happened a couple of years ago.

Shay comes forward to greet her

"Hi I am Shay and this is my partner Shaymin" 

"Min" Shaymin also says hi. 

"It is you" Ava thinks blushing a little. 

"Thank you for saving my daughter" her mom speaks. 

"Oh ma'am it was nothing anyone would have done everything I did I am glad everything worked out in the end," Shay added. 

Shay raises his hand forward to give out the bag he held.

"Here are all the things that Nurse Joy gave me yesterday. Check if everything is there okay," he says to her mom.

He looks at Ava

"And also please collect your Pokemon from the Pokemon Center. Your Squirtle was really helpful" Shay adds. 

Ava doesn't respond she is still stuck. 

"Huh?" Shay was confused as she did not respond. 

"Will do thanks a lot" her mom comes to the rescue to break the awkward silence. 

"Okay then take care" 

"You are discharged now," the doctor said. 

"Thank you, doctor. Thank you both" says Ava's mom. 

Both of them, Shay and the doctor exit.

"That boy is sweet, right Ava, Ava," she asks while looking at Ava. 

Ava is still stuck in seeing that boy here. 

"Hello Ava?…" 

"Huh yes, mom," asks Ava looking at her. 

"Did you hear what he said you should collect your Pokemon from the Pokemon centre? Here, are your things". 

"What oh okay? But where did he go?" asks Ava. 

"Who?" 

"The boy where did he go?" Ava inquires. 

"He just went out. Why what happened?" 

"Nothing" Ava responds and starts grabbing everything her mom was holding 

"Okay, Mom I'm heading to the Pokemon Centre to collect my Pokemon now, see you and thanks a lot" she starts running out. 

"Ava wait" her mom shouts. 

"That boy, where could he have gone" Ava thought while running. Just then she meets the doctor in the corridor. 

"Excuse me doctor did you see the boy that dropped me here yesterday" inquires Ava. 

"Oh you mean Shay yeah he just headed out" said the doctor. 

"Did he tell you where he was going?" 

"Yes he told me he is going to Pewter City to fight his first gym, I am sorry but is there any problem?" asks the doctor. 

"No not at all I forgot to thank him just now" Ava blushed. 

"Oh I see" said the doctor. 

"Ava where are you running off to like that I'm also coming with you to the Pokemon Center come on let's go?" her mom breathing heavily as she approaches Ava. 

"Okay, Mom" Ava replies uninterested. They got into a taxi and started heading towards the Pokemon Center. 

In the car. 

"Let's head home after collecting your Pokemon okay?"

"What no Mom, I would like to continue my journey" Ava responds immediately. 

"But baby you can get hurt like this again? You know and I can't bear to see anything happening to you do you understand?" 

"I know Mom but I'm having so much fun exploring and seeing new Pokemon. And also I and also I…" Ava stumbles for words. 

"How can I say that I'm doing my journey to find a purpose" thinks Ava. 

"I understand Ava I won't force you to come home. But whenever you feel like this journey is becoming a little extreme, do inform me I will make all the necessary arrangements is that fine baby" 

"Okay, mom" Ava replies relieved. 

The car stops and they get out, Ava immediately makes haste into the Pokemon Center. 

She immediately goes to the front desk and asks 

"Nurse Joy have you seen Shay you know that boy who was in the hospital" asks Ava. "No I have not seen him today was he not there in the hospital" asks Nurse Joy. 

"He was but I couldn't thank him for yesterday." Ava sighs. 

"Oh I see" 

"How's my Squirtle nurse joy?" asks Ava concerned. 

"He's fine here it is" says nurse Joy. "Squirtle," says Squirtle happily after seeing Ava. 

"Oh, Squirtle" says Ava pickling him and hugging. 

Her mom seeing it from the distance smiles joyfully. 

"How are you Squirtle?" asks Ava. 

"Squirtle," says Squirtle smiling. 

"Hmm" Ava sighs. 

"I wish I could meet him again Squirtle." Ava was lost in thought. 

"Squirtle?" asks Squirtle. 

"No it's nothing do you remember that boy from yesterday" asks Ava. "Squirtle Squirtle" wiggles Squirtle happily. 

"Did you see him today?" Ava asks. 

"Squirtle" sighs Squirtle shaking its head. 

"Oh" sighs Ava. 

"So this is your Squirtle huh," says Mom. 

"Yes Mom, Squirtle I would like you to meet my mom" she introduces her mom. 

"Squirtle," says Squirtle. 

"Oh aren't you cute," says Mom tickling Squirtle. 

"Squirtle," says Squirtle giggling. 

"Okay then Ava I am going home now have a nice journey now baby" "Sure Mom thanks a lot" Ava responds. 

"Ok then bye now" says Mom waving her hand. Even Ava starts waving her hands. 

"Hmm, He went to Pewter City huh then that's where I will also go." Ava smiles. 

"Ready Squirtle". 

"Squirtle" he responds. 

And they head out to continue their journey.

As the helicopter approaches to land a group of people is seen waiting for it to land. It was Giovanni and his team of other rocket members.

Giovanni smiles as the helicopter approaches to land.

As Vein gets off the helicopter Giovanni goes up to greet him.

"Hello Vein how was your trip," asks Giovanni. 

"How's the experiment coming what is the progress?" inquires Vein. 

"It's all going according to plan" Giovanni replies. 

"You better don't disappoint or else" Vein adds. 

"Hmm" grins Giovanni silently.

As Vein moves away from him.

"You have no idea what's going to take place?" Giovanni thinks as a slow evil smile appears on his face.

Then a shot of a lab and a cage is shown with what looks like a Pokemon in water. 

"What are they planning? Will Ava meet Shay? All are getting mysterious and unexpected as the journey continues…" Narrator adds.
