Chapter 5: A Scare In The Air

(Mew and her friends have reached Vermilion City.)

(and are soon going to make their way to Valencia Island.)

(to meet Professor Ivy.)

(First, they decide to go to a Poke Mart because they're a little low on supplies, and to have snacks for the trip.)

(They're able to find the stuff they need and leave the store.)

(Mew wonders.)

Mew: "Do you think we got everything?"

Misty: "I'm sure we did. We got a few extra proteins, and first aid, and we got some snacks."

(Misty says.)

Brock: "Yep. That's about it. Now we just need to find the blimp that will get us to Valencia Island."

(Brock says.)

(Tomo then says.)

Tomo: "I still wonder what's so special about this Mysterious Pokeball."

Mew: "Well, we won't know until we get there."

(Mew says.)

Tomo: "You're right."

(Tomo says.)

(Suddenly, they hear someone shout.)

???: "And we have another big winner!"

(The group turns their heads to notice.)

(two men with a table and they're doing a raffle drawing.)

(and are handing someone their prize.)

(One of them calls out.)

First vendor: "Congratulations, ma'am!

(The second vendor says.)

second vendor: "Here's a set of beautiful refrigerator magnets."

(Then the first one says.)

First vendor: "Just bring your register receipt and take a chance!"

second vendor: "You could win our grand prize blimp trip to beautiful Valencia Island! Hurry, hurry!"

(The second vendor happily says.)

Brock: "Did he say blimp?"

(Brock asks, interested.)

Tomo: "A raffle drawing?"

(Tomo adds.)

Misty: "And the grand prize is a trip to Valencia Island."

(Misty adds.)

Mew: "Maybe we should try? Who knows, we might actually win."

(Mew says.)

Misty: "You really don't think you're gonna win that free trip, do you?"

(Misty asks.)

Mew: "Maybe I will, maybe I won't. I won't know until I give it a chance."

(Mew says.)

(Misty thinks a bit and says.)

Misty: "I guess you're right. It wouldn't hurt to try, and you might win something too. And if you're really lucky, we can get a free trip to Valencia Island."

(Mew walks over and asks.)

Mew: "Excuse me sirs, can I give it a try?"

First vendor: "Sure miss, just show us your receipt and take a spin."

(The vendor says.)

(Mew does just that and is given a chance to play.)

(Mew spins the wheel and then spins it again.)

(Soon, a bright yellow ball comes out.)

(Just then, one of the vendors rings the bell and calls out.)

second vendor: "She won!"

First vendor: "It's our grand prize round trip blimp flight to Valencia Island for a party for free!"

(The other calls out.)

(Just then, Misty and Brock fall over in surprise and disbelief.)

(Mew giggles and says.)

Mew: "Well, I guess that's just how the Golem rolls."

Pikachu: "Pikachu," (I guess so.)

(Pikachu says.)

Eevee: "Eevee Eevee," (At least we can get to Valencia Island faster,)

(Eevee says.)

(Meanwhile, somewhere in the woods, Team Rocket: Jessie, James, and Meowth are setting.)

(some kind of device up as Meowth sings a song.)

(Just then, they receive a call from.)

(Meowth asks.)

Meowth: "Did you call us, sir?"

(The boss answers.)

Giovanni: "Meowth, Jessie, and James. Effective immediately, you three are being transferred to Team Rocket's Dirigible Division."

James and Jessie: "The Blimp Brigade?"

(James and Jessie say, confused.)

Meowth: "Really?"

(Meowth asks.)

Giovanni: "The Blimp Brigade, as you put it, serves a unique and important purpose in our organization. Only special operatives are chosen for this duty."

(Giovanni answers.)

(Soon, Team Rocket are in tears.)

James: "Oh, boss,"

(James says, happily.)

Jessie: "You have no idea how honored we are!"

(Jessie says.)

Giovanni: "Remember,"

(Giovanni says, and pets his Persian.)

Giovanni: "I'm counting on you. Don't let me down."

(Soon, the call ends, and Team Rocket are still in tears.)

Jessie: "Thank you!"

(Jessie happily says.)

James: "What a tremendous honor!"

(James says.)

(Meowth wipes the tears from his eyes.)

Meowth: "The boss really likes us after all!"

(Then Jessie says determinedly.)

Jessie: "Alright! Let's show the boss that we're as valuable as he thinks we are!"

James and Meowth: "Right!"

(The boys agree.)

(Back in Team Rocket Headquarters, Giovanni says.)

Giovanni: "The only duty those three simpletons are fit for is the Blunder Brigade. I haven't had any repairs done to those old blimps for decades. They're completely unfit to fly. About the only thing I have maintained on those blimps are their insurance policies."

(He lets out a chuckle as his Persian meows.)

(Meanwhile, Mew and her friends have arrived at the airfield.)

(just outside of Vermilion City.)

(Soon enough, they also see the blimp, and they are surprised.)

Mew: "I never saw a blimp this close."

(Mew says, a little surprised.)

(Then Brock says.)

Brock: "It's bigger than I thought it'd be!"

Misty: "It looks kinda old and beat up. You think it's okay to fly?"

(Misty says.)

Mew: "I'm not sure. But you're right. It does look rather old and such."

(Mew says.)

Tomo: "Do you think it's the blimp that can take us to the island?"

(Tomo asks.)

(Just then, two of the airfield employees show up and walk to Mew and the others.)

(The first employee asks.)

first employee: "You're not here for a blimp ride, are you?"

Mew: "Um we are. We won round-trip tickets to Valencia Island on the blimp."

(Mew answers.)

(The employees look very shocked.)

(Second employee says.)

Second employee: "You kids are brave!"

(The other asks.)

first employee: "How much you getting paid?"

Brock: "Getting paid?"

(Brock says, confused.)

Mew: "What do you mean?"

(Mew asks.)

Tomo: "Yeah. What are you two talking about?"

(Tomo adds.)

(Then Misty asks.)

Misty: "Is there something about that blimp we oughta know?"

(The two employees look at each other and decide to tell them.)

(The employee with the blue hat says.)

first employee: "Look. That blimp's so dangerous everybody says it's haunted by a gang of ghosts. I wouldn't fly on that thing if you paid me a million bucks."

(The group of friends become very uneasy about going on the blimp.)

(Suddenly, two familiar figures come up.)

???: "Attention, please!"

(They surprise the gang as the two people.)

(that look like flight attendants push the employees out of the way.)

(The man says.)

The man: "Please have your tickets ready!"

The woman: "Passengers may now begin boarding,"

(The woman says.)

Mew: "Uh, but what about the ghosts?"

(Mew asks.)

The man: "What ghosts, mam?"

(The man asks.)

Misty: "Those guys told us that a whole bunch of ghosts live in there."

(Misty answers.)

The man: "Oh, they must've been from a rival blimp line."

(The man says, and pushes Mew and Tomo to the blimp.)

The man: "Come on, now. It's boarding time!"

(Then the woman does the same with Misty and Brock.)

the woman: "Please have your carry-on luggage ready for inspection."

(The gang are being pushed to the blimp.)

(as Meowth stands behind a building nearby.)

(As it turns out, the two flight attendants are Jessie and James in disguise.)

(In other words, this is another Team Rocket trap.)

Meowth: "The boss must've put us on this detail cause he knew those kids were coming out here to take a blimp ride. Heh! We'll really take them for a ride."

(Meowth says with a grin.)

(Soon enough, Jessie and James, the disguised flight attendants.)

(are pushing the group into the blimps, and or walking up the stairs.)

James: "Right this way, watch your step."

(James says,)

Mew: "But, don't you want to see our tickets?"

(Mew asks.)

James: "Don't worry, we're upgrading you to first class, anyway."

(James says.)

Jessie: "Get set for takeoff, everyone!"

(Jessie says.)

(Then the hatch to the blimp closes.)

(Just then, two Pokemon begin to run towards where the Blimp are and are playing.)

(One of them is a cream-colored bipedal Pokémon with red markings.)

(It has a dot-like nose, and a cream-colored plus sign in the middle of its circular red cheeks.)

(It has long, flat ears that are mostly red.)

(Its limbs are stubby and digitless, and it has red front paws.)

(Its short tail is tipped with a red plus sign.)

(The other is also a cream-colored bipedal Pokémon but with blue markings.)

(It has a dot-like nose, and a cream-colored minus sign in the middle of its circular blue cheeks.)

(It has long, flat ears that are mostly blue.)

(Its limbs are stubby and digitless, and it has blue front paws.)

(Its short tail is tipped with a blue minus sign.)

(They are running and playing with smiles on their faces.)

(Until the Pokemon with the red marking accidentally pushes.)

(at the switch, letting out some water, and both of them get soaked.)

(Soon, the blimp begins to take off.)

(Before the two Pokemon can do anything.)

(their feet get tangled in the rope and are getting carried away as the blimp takes off.)

(Inside the Blimp, Mew and her friends reach the dining room.)

(and so far, the place actually looks well, worse for wear on the inside.)

Mew: "Hey! I thought they said this was first class!"

(Mew says, surprised by the condition of the room.)

Misty: "This looks like last class to me!"

(Misty says.)

(Suddenly, everyone begins to hear creaking.)

Tomo: "Did anyone else hear that?"

(Tomo asks.)

Mew: "You're right, it looks like the floor is gonna colla…"

(Mew states, but the floor collapses from under her and finds her legs dangling on the underside of the blimp.)

(Mew screams.)

Mew: "Hey! Why's the blimp flying over the ocean?!"

(Then looks up.)

Mew: "You gotta help me up.

(Misty calls out.)

Misty: "Mew, grab my hand!"

Brock: "We gotcha!"

(Brock says.)

(Mew takes Brock and Misty's hand.)

(and they both pull to help get Mew out of the hole.)

(Mew heavily breathes.)

Mew: "Thanks for saving me, guys."

Brock: "That was a close one."

(Brock says.)

Tomo: "I think going on this blimp was a bad idea."

(Tomo says.)

(Just then, Jessie walks in and says.)

Jessie: "I see you're all relaxing."

Misty: "Buzz off!"

(Misty screams.)

(That makes Jessie irritated.)

(Then James comes in.)

James: "Ladies and gentlemen, dinner is now served!"

Pikachu: "Pika Pika!" (It's dinner time!)

(Pikachu says.)

Eevee: "Eevee Eevee!" (Good I'm hungry!)

(Eevee happily says.)

(Meloetta, Skwovet, Togepi, and Pichu agree.)

(Soon, Mew and the others are sitting down to dinner.)

Brock: "This soup is ice cold."

(Brock says.)

James: "It's an old eskimo recipe."

(James nervously says.)

Brock: "Eskimo?"

(Brock says, confused.)

James: "Yes, our chef.."

(James begins, but Jessie smacks him in the face with a plate.)

James: "Ow!"

(James yelps.)

(Jessie sheepishly laughs.)

(Just then, the blimp begins to tilt over, causing everyone to lose their balance, except the ones who are sitting.)

Mew: "Hey, what's going on here?"

(Mew asks.)

Misty: "And what kind of pilot's flying this thing anyway?"

(Misty adds.)

Jessie and James: "Good questions,"

(Jessie and James reply.)

(Soon, it's revealed that Meowth is in the kitchen.)

(cooking and not flying the blimp in the cockpit.)

Meowth: "You're asking me who's flying the big bag of gas?"

(Meowth questions.)

(Jessie and James who have asked the question nod their heads.)

Meowth: "Well, don't look at me. I'm just slaving over a hot stove trying to keep passengers happy."

(Meowth says, continuing cooking.)

(This makes Jessie and James concerned and answer they don't want to hear.)

(James soon realizes.)

James: "If, it's not you.."

Jessie: "That means we haven't had a pilot since we took off."

(Jessie says.)

(Then Meowth says.)

Meowth: "The blimp's flying itself."

(Soon, Team Rocket realizes the situation.)

(panic and rush to the cockpit of the blimp to see no one is there.)

Meowth: "Nobody home!"

(Meowth cries out.)

Jessie: "Well, one of us has to steer."

(Jessie says.)

(They soon point to one another, and they soon realize something.)

(None of them knows how to pilot a blimp.)

(James cries out.)

James: "I don't know how!"

Jessie: "I can't even fly a kite!"

(Jessie panics.)

Meowth: "We just gotta follow the instructions in this manual. I'll check under 'no pilot'."

(Meowth says, finding a book and deciding to look through it.)

(Soon, the blimp begins to tilt forward.)

(Meowth says.)

Meowth: "The manual says you can't keep a blimp from wobbling all over the place unless you got ballast. The blimp has a big tank of water up front and one in back. If you let water out of one tank, that end rises up cause it gets lighter."

Jessie: "Very interesting, just make the front go up."

(Jessie says, feeling squished.)

Meowth: "There's a lever that lets the water out."

(Meowth says.)

(James gets up to see the two levers, then pulls down one of them.)

James: "Here goes."

(The water pours out.)

(Unknown to them, the two Pokemon who are still dangling on the rock.)

(get soaked, and are not pleased.)

(They soon are able to free themselves.)

(Inside the blimp, the blimp levels back in balance to Team Rocket's relief.)

(But short lived when it begins to tilt back the other way.)

(Meowth screams.)

Meowth: "That's too much! Let some out of the back!"

(James does so, but the blimp soon tilts forward.)

(Meowth calls out.)

Meowth: "Now you let TOO MUCH out of the back!"

James: "I'm doing the best I can!"

(James says, continue to balance the blimp.)

(Soon, the blimp begins to go back and forth.)

Meowth: "Pour out of the front! Not that much!"

(Meowth screams.)

(The blimp continues to go back and forth and in the dining room.)

(Mew and the others are being pushed back and forth as well.)

(Finally, the blimp is level off and is in balance.)

James: "We're finally on the level!"

(James says.)

Jessie: "I feel seasick,"

(Jessie says, feeling sick.)

Meowth: "Don't you mean blimp-sick?"

(Meowth says.)

(James looks up and notices something wrong.)

James: "Look! We're heading into a huge storm cloud!"

Jessie: "What'll we do?!"

(Jessie asks.)

(Meowth looks at the book.)

Meowth: "Quick, let some water out of the front tank! Maybe we can fly above it!"

(When James tries, the water is not coming out.)

(The two Pokemon wait for the water to come out.)

(but notice none are coming out.)

(Soon, they begin to climb the rope up the blimp and hopefully make it inside.)

(They soon jump into the water tank.)

(James notices it too.)

James: "The lever doesn't seem to be working! The front tank must be empty!"

Jessie: "But that storm! We've got to think of something, fast!"

Meowth: "Our only hope is an emergency landing! All we gotta do is hit that button there!"

(Meowth says, and points to the emergency landing button.)

Jessie: "What does that do?"

(Jessie asks.)

Meowth: "When you push that button, all the gas gets let out of the blimp and we land in the ocean."

(Meowth answers.)

Jessie: "We can't do that! The boss is counting on us, and if we fail, we'll be dropped out of the Blimp Brigade for good!"

(Jessie says.)

James: "We can't mess this mission up! They'll take back my Blimp Brigade uniform!"

(James panics.)

Jessie: "As long as we capture Pikachu, the boss won't care if we sink this stupid blimp or not."

(Jessie says.)

(James likes the idea.)

James: "You're right, Jessie! And then we'll be heroes!"

(Soon, Jessie begins to sing and James feels happy about it.)

(Meowth then says to himself.)

Meowth: "These two are acting screwier than usual. Maybe the blimp gas is getting to them."

(Meanwhile, in the dining room, Mew and the others are recovering from their rocky ride.)

(Mew sits up and asks.)

Mew: "Is everybody alright here?"

Misty: "I guess so,"

(Misty says.)

(Then looks down in her hands.)

Misty: "How are you feeling.. Huh?"

(But notices that she has a Darma doll.)

(She panics and tosses the doll away.)

Mew: "Misty, what's wrong?"

(Mew asks.)

Misty: "Togepi and Pichu disappeared!"

(Misty panics.)

Brock: "They're gone!"

(Brock exclaims in shock.)

(Finding out they're gone.)

(Mew and her friends begin to search around the blimp for the two missing Pokemon.)

(Mew calls out.)

Mew: "Hey, Togepi?! Pichu?!"

Misty: "Togepi?! Pichu?!"

(Misty calls out.)

Brock: "Come on out, Togepi?!"

(Brock calls out.)

(Tomo calls out.)

Tomo: "Pichu!"

Pikachu: "Pi Pi Pi!" (Togepi!)

(Pikachu calls out.)

Eevee: "Eevee Eevee!" (Pichu!)

(Eevee calls out.)

Meloetta: "Meloetta!" (Togepi!)

(Meloetta calls out.)

Skwovet: "Skwovet!" (Pichu!)

(Skwovet calls out.)

(Misty searches in the pantry.)

Misty: "Togepi!"

(Brock looks in the chimney.)

Brock: "Pichu!"

(Tomo looks in the garbage can.)

Tomo: "Togepi!"

(Then Mew looks in one of the rooms.)

Mew: "Pichu!"

(Unknown to Mew and her friends, the two little Pokemon are exploring around the blimp.)

(They look around and find a good place to explore.)

(Seeing Mew and her friends, the two decide to follow them.)

(Unaware, the blimp is getting closer to the storm.)

(Somewhere in the blimp.)

(Mew climbs up the ladder into the structural area of the blimp.)

Mew: "What would Togepi and Pichu be doing in a creepy place like this."

(Mew questions.)

Brock: "It's the only place on the blimp we haven't looked yet."

(Brock says.)

(Misty calls out.)

Misty: "Togepi?! Pichu?! Are you here?!

Mew: "Togepi?!"

(Mew calls out.)

(Then Tomo calls out.)

Tomo: "Pichu!"

Brock: "Come on out!"

(Brock adds.)

(Then Misty calls out.)

Misty: "Pretty please?!"

(Soon, Mew and her friends continue to walk down.)

(the hall of the structural part of the blimp.)

(and become spooked when something runs past them.)

Mew: "Hey, did you guys see that?!"

(Mew asks, surprised.)

Brock: "Maybe it was Togepi or Pichu."

(Brock suggests.)

(Misty calls out.)

Misty: "Togepi! Pichu!"

(The group then follows whatever they see.)

(Soon they find themselves not knowing where they went off to.)

Mew: "Where are they?

(Mew wonders.)

Brock: "They couldn't have gone far."

(Brock says.)

(Soon, they see something approaching them.)

(Something glowing.)

Tomo: "Look down there!"

(Tomo calls out.)

Brock: "What is that?"

(Brock wonders.)

Mew: "I don't know, but I'm not like this."

(Mew says, and remembers what the two employees had said about the blimp being haunted.)

Brock: "It looks like this blimp really is haunted!"

(Brock panics.)

(The group panics and runs away in fright to see the glowing objects.)

(Meanwhile, Team Rocket are looking around the same place, but on the catwalk.)

James: "There's no place left to look, Jess."

(James says.)

Jessie: "I know, James. It's like those kids vanished into thin air."

(Jessie says.)

Meowth: "Maybe they're invisible like all the ghosts in here."

(Meowth says with sarcasm.)

(Jessie furiously grabs Meowth by his mouth.)

Jessie: "I've had just about enough of your big Poke-mouth, mister! If you want to be invisible, just tell me! Well?! Do you?!"

(Meowth screams.)

Meowth: "Knock it off! Quit it! Cut it out, I was kidding!"

(Just then, Meowth sees the same glowing sparkling objects.)

Jessie: "Meowth? You look like you've seen a ghost.

Meowth: "I did! It's there, right behind you!"

(Meowth panics.)

Jessie: "There's a ghost?"

(Jessie asks.)

James: "Right behind us?"

(James adds.)

(They turn around to see the two glowing objects.)

(causing them to scream in fright and run away in fear.)

(Soon, coming out of the darkness are the two Pokemon.)

(Soon the blimp is flying right into the storm as Mew and her friends recuperate from what they've seen.)

Mew: "Alright I have enough of this! I say we get off of this creepy thing!"

(Mew says, finally having enough of this trip.)

Brock: "We can't get off! We're a mile high!"

(Brock says.)

Misty: "Well, even if we could, I'm not leaving without Togepi and Pichu! I'll battle ghosts or anybody else I have to!"

(Misty says.)

(Suddenly, they hear a familiar voice.)

???: "That's our cue!"

Jessie: Prepare for trouble!

(The group turns their heads to see Jessie and James on the ladder.)

James: Make it double!

(Before they can continue.)

(the blimp rocks again, causing Meowth to fall on Jessie, which she falls on to James.)

(Then all three fall down to the kids' level.)

(Then they quickly get up to continue.)

Jessie: To protect the world from devastation.

James: To unite all peoples within our nation.

Jessie: To denounce the evils of truth and love.

James: To extend our reach to the stars above.

Jessie: Jessie.

James: James.

Jessie: Team Rocket, blast off at the speed of light.

James: Surrender now, or prepare to fight.

Meowth: Meowth! That's fright!

Mew: "Team Rocket!"

(Mew says, annoyed.)

Misty: "We have more important things to worry about now, so go away!"

(Misty shouts.)

James::"We're not giving up as easy as you think, and we're not going!"

(James denies.)

Jessie: "And you're not going anywhere, either."

(Jessie says.)

Mewoth: "You're trapped this time, and nobody's leaving this balloon until we get what we want. Now hand over that Pikachu!"

(Mewoth says.)

Mew: "No way!"

(Mew denies.)

James: "Then let's make this transaction.."

(James says, holding his Pokeball.)

(Then Jessie says.)

Jessie: "A bit more exciting. Arbok!"

(And throws her Pokeball.)

(James does the same.)

James: "Weezing, showtime!"

(Mew worriedly says.)

Mew: "Uh, I don't think this is a good idea."

(But Jessie calls out.)

Jessie: "Alright, Arbok use your Bite attack!"

(Arbok then coils the structure of the blimp ready to attack.)

Mew: "Eevee use, Iron Tail!"

(Mew calls out.)

(Eevee performs Iron Tail and swats Arbok off the ladder.)

(Brock throws his Pokeball and calls out.)

Brock: "Go, Geodude!"

(Geodude comes out of its Pokeball.)

(Soon, both Geodude and Weezing are through clashes with Tackle attack.)

(Geodude then grabs Weezing and tosses him through the canvas of the blimp, making a hole in it.)

(Soon, Weezing returns to the blimp, making another hole.)

(That creates a bigger tear into the blimp.)

(Soon, the entire blimp is starting to come apart.)

Brock: "Look! The storm's gonna tear the whole blimp apart!"

(Brock cries out.)

(Just as the blimp is falling apart, they notice the two little Pokemon.)

(Pichu and Togepi are walking on the metal structure of the blimp.)

(Misty panics.)

Misty: "Togepi! Pichu!"

(Then hurry after them!)

Misty: "Togepi! Pichu! Get down!"

(The others hurry after them to get the little ones down.)

(Just then, James and Jessie begin sulking about their failure.)

(Jessie and James sulk and say.)

Jessie and James: "Looks like Team Rocket's messing up again."

Meowth: "We can't let them get away!"

(Meowth shouts.)

(Meanwhile, Mew and the others reach the little ones' location.)

(Misty calls out.)

Misty: "Togepi!

Mew: "Pichu!"

(Mew calls out.)

(Then Misty calls out.)

Misty: "Togepi, Pichu, please come down here, right now!"

(But the two Pokemon are having too much fun to listen to.)

(Just then, Tomo takes out his Pokeball.)

Tomo: "I got an idea!"

(Then throws it.)

Tomo: "Go Shuppet!"

(With that, Shuppet comes out of the Pokeball.)

(Tomo calls out.)

Tomo: "Shuppet, use Psychic to rescue Togepi and Pichu!"

(Shuppet performs the Psychic attack and begins to levitate Pichu and Togepi.)

(down from the metal structure and towards Mew and the others.)

(Meanwhile, Team Rocket is watching the rescue mission.)

Jessie: "They're too busy worrying about Togepi to worry about us."

(Jessie says.)

James: "Now's our chance. If one of us could walk across that beam, we can sneak up on Pikachu from behind."

(James says.)

Jessie: "But look at how high up that beam is, James."

(Jessie says.)

James: "And it's a long way down!"

(James says, looking down.)

Meowth: "This is a job for, Meowth!"

(Meowth says, and begins to climb along.)

(the path of the steel structure like they're monkey bars.)

(Meowth continues.)

Meowth: "Watch and wonder, as I display an array of feline agility and cat-like mobility."

Jessie: "That little guy certainly has a lot of guts, doesn't he?"

(Jessie says.)

(Then James says.)

James: "Guts, but not brains."

(Soon, the blimp flies out of the storm and the light of the sun blinds Meowth.)

Meowth: "The light!"

(Meowth panics and shields his eyes.)

(That makes Meowth almost lose his grip.)

(James and Jessie call out.)

James and Jessie: "Hang on tight!"

(Meowth screams.)

(Jessie comments.)

(Then James says.)

James: "So much for guts."

(Back to Mew and her friends, Shuppet has Togepi and Pichu levitated.)

(right back to Misty, and the girl takes the two baby Pokemon into her arms.)

(Misty hugs them.)

Misty: "Togepi. Pichu. You both had me worried. Don't disappear like that again."

(Just then, the blimp rocks a bump, causing Team Rocket to lose their balance and falls off the blimp.)

(Meowth quickly grabs the cloth and some tears off.)

(Soon, Meowth is able to use the cloth as a parachute.)

(James happily says.)

James: "A parachute!"

Jessie: "You're a genius, Meowth!"

(Jessie says.)

(Team Rocket are gently floating down.)

(as Meowth holds on to the parachute as they descend to the ocean below.)

(Back in the blimp, Misty hugs Togepi and Pichu, and is very glad that they're safe.)

(Just then, they hear footsteps and turn their heads to see the two Pokemon.)

Tomo: "What are they?"

(Tomo asks.)

Misty: "They're cute."

(Misty says.)

Brocks: "They're Plusle and Minun."

(Brocks says.)

(Mew brings out her Pokedex and Dexter says.)

Dexter: "Plusle, the Cheering Pokemon. An Electric Type. Plusle always acts as a cheerleader for its partners. Whenever a teammate puts out a good effort in battle, this Pokémon shorts out its body to create the crackling noises of sparks to show its joy."

(Then Dexter says.)

Dexter: "Minun, the Cheering Pokemon. An Electric Type. Minun loves to cheer on its partner in battle. It gives off sparks from its body while it is doing so. If its partner is in trouble, this Pokémon gives off increasing amounts of sparks."

Misty: "So they're like Cheerleaders."

(Misty says.)

(Mew says.)

Mew: "They must have snuck into the blimp somehow."

(Soon, the two Pokemon cheer and let out sparks on their paws as they cheer.)

(Suddenly, they begin to hear hissing sounds.)

(and look to see the gas tank in the blimp has sprung a leak.)

Misty: "What's that?"

(Misty asks.)

Mew: "The gas is starting to leak from those tanks!"

(Mew says, shock.)

(Then Brock says.)

Brock: "We have to land this blimp, fast!"

Tomo: "Right! What's our plan?"

(Tomo asks.)

Mew: "I have an idea. If we let some of our Pokemon out, we can steer the blimp with it with the weight."

(Mew says.)

Brock: "You got it!"

(Brock says.)

(Then says.)

Brock: "We should use our smaller Pokemon. Pokemon like Onix might put on too much weight."

(Brock says.)

Brock: "I'll head to the cockpit and try to steer the blimp."

Misty: "I'll go too,"

(Misty says.)

Mew: "Tomo and I will try to steer the blimp from here."

(Mew says.)

(With that, Brock releases Zubat, Geodude, Vulpix, Winter.)

(Mew releases Squirtle, Bulbasaur, Glaceon and Cinderace.)

(Misty releases Staryu, Sobble, and Oddish.)

(Tomo releases Growlithe, Abra, and Buneary.)

(The group acts fast as the blimp is close to an island that has an airfield.)

(Brock and Misty are at the cockpit as Brock takes the wheel.)

(Brock says.)

Brock: "I can try to land on that island if they can get the nose down."

(Misty talks through the speaker.)

Misty: "Okay, guys, move all of the Pokémon to the front of the blimp!"

Mew: "Alright everyone, walk to the blimp. We need to have the nose forward just right."

(Mew says to Tomo and the Pokemon.)

(Mew and the others head to the front nice and slow.)

(Soon, the blimp begins to tilt forward a bit, as they walk, the blimp tilts forward more.)

(Brock turns to Misty with a nod.)

(Misty calls out through the speaker.)

Misty: "Alright everyone, we're good."

(Mew and the others stop to see the blimp is making its way to shore.)

(Soon, the blimp lands on the island, skids on the ground, and crashes on the island.)

(Just then the intercom announces.)

intercom: "Welcome, visitors, to Valencia Island. We hope you enjoy your stay in our tropical paradise."

(Hearing the announcement, Brock says.)

Brock: "Misty, we landed on Valencia Island!"

Misty: "No way!"

(Misty says, by surprise.)

(Meanwhile, Mew, Tomo, and the Pokemon are a bit dazed from the crash.)

(Mew asks.)

Mew: "Hey, guys. Are you okay?"

(Mew, Tomo and the Pokemon begin laughing.)

(Soon, Plusle and Minun rubs Mews cheeks with glee.)

(Mew giggles.)

(Mew then asks.)

Mew: "Hey Plusle, Minun, you two want to come with us?

(Plusle and Minun nod their heads with glee.)

(Mew and the others smile and end up with new friends.)

(Despite Team Rocket's worst efforts.)

(Mew and her friends are able to land on Valencia Island.)

(Now, they plan to head to Professor Ivy's lab.)

(to retrieve the mysterious Pokeball for Professor Oak.)
