Pokemon Journey Towards Perfection

When someone is reborn into the pokemon world as a rich second generation, theres only one thing to do. Become the very best! Only problem is he's a perfectionist which means it's going to be a slower journey to the top than most. Luckily enough he's rich and won't have to squander for small resources like other protaginists would, starting off on their journey. (Heavy AU) Im writing this story because I keep getting pissed off when reading chinese pokemon fanfics where protaginists make stupid decisions and don't let pokemon reach what I view as their max potential. It had almost been a few years since Peter first became his battle instructor and it feels like so much has changed since then, yet at the same time, nothing at all. Nothing truly big had happened yet he could feel himself and Moy growing stronger by the day. Not to mention all the progress they had made in these past years.

His progress in training with scyther had been rapid. Although scyther still deemed that he was not ready to fight with him, due to his growing psychic energy he could feel his moves and footsteps getting smoother and smoother. In the mean time his gravity room had also been set at 7X.

Not only that but for his eigth birthday his dad gave him a new gadget. It was a gravity braclet that he could adjust the gravity on to experience the increased gravity as much as possible. Although he didn't wear it during training with scyther due to the possible damages to his body, it still increased the time he could be under heavier gravity by about 30%.

He didn't really think about what benefits the enhanced gravity would give him at first, only knowing it was often used in novels to enhance strength training, but it was a lot more than that. It seemed that living under this enhanced gravity had enhanced many things about himself. It increased the strength of his bones, mucsels, ligements, and tendons, but also the resilience of his internal organs and the rate of his blood flow. Morever, it increased the density of his body as a whole.

The strengthened internal organs and blood flow allowed him to be able to take more of a beating and heal slightly faster. But the increased density was certainly the biggest benefit, allowing him to store more power in the same amount of tissue.

The only possible downside to this was an increased weight, but more for the infastructure of buildings, considering due to the all round strengthing he would always be fast and nimble. This also shows how hard it is to truly spare with a pokemon, considering even with all these boosts scyther still didn't consider him ready.

His physical abilites weren't the only thing that made progress. With the feedback from Moy his psychic energy's density had already hit the liquid state, which was very fast progress according to Sabrina. She could only atribute it to his and Moy's talent, even if he spent much longer in each stage than necessary, to reach perfection. Not only that, he was also far along on the path to mastering telekinesis. When you master a psychic ability it basically means that you won't get any better unless you have more pure energy.

With telepathy that had only taken him a month which was much quicker than others. But by Sabrina's guess, it would only take another two years for him to master telekinesis. Which was amazing compared to some people who couldn't do it in a lifetime.

With telekinesis the biggest problem was certainly the physical enhancement part. It was a lot to keep track of and control even with his advanced mind, espically when moving. In fact that's were most of the two years of training will come from.

While the progress he made may be good, great even, the progress Moy had made in this time is simply astounding. First the biggest change was clearly her rank. In this time she had gone all the way from beginner to advanced rank. Although three years certainly wasn't the fatstest time to reach advanced rank, due to having Moy set a perfect foundation at each stage he would say Moy is certainly the strongest advanced rank pokemon out there.

Not only that, in this time she had mastered all the moves solosis could learn, a ridiculous feat, considering most trainers pokemon could only master a few. No small achievment considering that solosis could learn 56 moves. Although the mastering for these moves didn't provide a huge permenant bonus, as she remastered them when she evolved, the moves bonuses would quickly add up.

After all this time she had also gotten a hang down on her lines physical strengthining technique. This certainly increased the power of her physical attacking moves from tackle to steel roller. Even though Moy knew mostly special attacking moves it seemed she truly enjoyed slamming into her opponets, a good sign to her future reuniclus evolution.

Not only that, she had also perfectly built up he resistances to stat lowering moves and different types. Again, although these benefits weren't big now, they would add up in the long run. Espically for types Moy was weak to, considering that a move that normally does 100% damage, as a reinuclus, would be reduced to 89%, but one that does 200% damage reduced to 178%. It would be lowered by the same precentage, but have a bigger effect. This also makes sense, after all, its comparatively harder to build a resistance to something that doesn't hurt you, as much as something else that does.

By the farthest the biggest progress Moy had made, and by extension himself, was in battling. After all these years of training with Peter the benefits him and Moy got were immeasurable. Moy got to experience a varity of different opponents and it was what had allowed her to master her moves and resistances so quickly. He had also benefited in being able to much more easily command Moy to fight and her to listen.

When he had first gotten Moy early he hadn't realized how much of an advantage he would have over everyone else at the same age. Moy getting to advanced rank in three years wasn't particulary fast and something a civilian out of highschool could theortically catch up to, if you didn't include the other six years he had to train her. The biggest benefit he would have is the extra time to learn how to battle with Moy. Espically with his own battle tutor, that advantage would increase even more.

It was a few months before his tenth birthday that Moy had finally reached the peak of the adavanced rank and fully condensed herself, to about the size of a basketball, twice as big as a normal solosis at the adavanced rank, so it was time to advance. Before that though there was one very important thing, evolution!

Evolution was weird in this universe, in the fact that pokemon can evolve super early compared to the total amount of stages. You see, pokemon could first evolve at the ordinary stage, than at the advanced. This could lead to some weird situations like an adavnced level dragonite.

Not like that would possibly happen. It was generally expected for psuedo legends to have better qualifications, so people with them wouldn't be stupid enough to evolve them as soon as they could. Although psuedo legends weren't actually any stronger than any other pokemon in this universe, due to their better qualifications, on a race level, they often supressed others.

Still it was found that pokemon had to evolve at the advanced level due to the elite level that came after. To enter the elite level pokemon had to begin to comprehend their "way", which is basically what path they want to master in the future. This eventually leads to their truth at the elite four level, which is usually a set of words describing their specialization. This also leads to the second evolution being required at the peak quasi elite four level.

As Moy and him got prepared for her evolution in is his room he thought back on what Sabrina had given him as a ninth birthday gift. For every psychic type pokemon that people could partner with, their respective region of origin develpoed techniques to go along with that partner pokemon. These techniques were typically put into place during evolution and lead to great benefits for the human.

Its funny how these secret techniques weren't that secre, and in fact were avalible to everyone. Although it could never happen nowadays, thousands of years ago some group of psychics decided to share all of their regions secret techniques with each other and they eventually spread around. It was very different than the expected closely gaurded secret held by certain families in each region.

The secret technique for the solosis line seemed to be tailor made for him. Most secret techniques increased the feedback rate of the pokemon and had a unique ability attached to it. Solosis' allowed for him to more easily learn body strengthining psychic abilitys. Although it wouldn't help with his current telekinesis troubles, when he moved onto direct body strengthining it would be a big help.

The benfit was usually related to the pokemon. Although Sabrina had never told him, he guessed that her benefit was somewhere along the lines of increased intelligence, or more psychic energy, something that usually wasn't possible.

The technique also solved a big problem that dousion's have. When solosis evolved into dousion it gains a seperate, thinking, mind. But, when he uses the technique instead he will becomes the other mind of Moy. He won't actually have any control over her, instead it will be more like they can instictivily communicate, even without their bond. This will make them even better in battle.

This won't technically increase or decrease her strength, their is still no technique that can do that, but it will save her the confusion of having another mind. Plus if dousion's two minds act together it allows for more psychic power to be out put. With the bond it works a little diferently but it basically allows for him to add his power to Moy's. He wouldn't be suprised if other psychics and their partners had similair techniques though.

"Are you ready Moy?"

"Ready Daddy! Bye bye solosis, hello dousion!"

He removed the evolution everstone that was holding back her evolution, and let Moy do her thing. Pokemon could consciously hold back their rank and evolution but it took effort, so the everstones allowed for a lot more convenience.

As he took off Moy's stone she burst into a bright white light. As she did so he went into his mind and reached out over the bond towards Moy. He could feel her mind throughout the process and when he felt a second mind begining to form he reached out for it, drawing it into his own.

As this nacsent mind travelled over the bond it tried to struggle but was overwhelmed by his greater strength. When it reached his own psychic space he pushed his psychic energy into it, effectivley wiping it out. After that, he pushed the mind back over to Moy through the bond, just in time for her evolution to finish.

As he looked at Moy he could clearly see that her body had changed shape into a dousion. Not only that she was about three feet tall at this point.

"Daddy, daddy, I did it!"

"Yes you did Moy, great job. Why don't we celebrate with some of those treats you love?"

"Yay, treats!"

Pokemon were supposed to get smarter and more mature as the ranked up and evolved so it was weird that Moy still acted so childish, but he wasn't complaining. She still did all her training, and he didn't mind having a daughter to spoil.

Even though Moy was at the peak of the advanced rank before she evolved, he still didn't have her advance for a few months, due to her evolution allowing her to store more energy and condense more. Of course this didn't mean it would have been more advantegous to evolve early, exactly the oppiste actually.

She still didn't have to master her moves or resistances yet though as that went by evolution. Of course that didn't mean they weren't trained as she regathered her strength for the next rank up. They did stop battle training for a few moths though, given the fact she still needed to repractice her moves something the training wouldn't help with untill she got them to a basic profeciency.

Plus, her strength would change drasticaly at the elite level so it wasn't worthwhile to currently get used to her new strength. She also needed to get used to her new body, and having his mind so close to hers.

After a few months, a couple days before his birthday, Moy finally advanced to elite rank. It wasn't as big of a fanfare as last time, espically considering that Moy already knew she wanted to specialze in something to do with her enhanced strength. That was enough for the elite stage, although it would have to get more specific as she aproached the later stages, eventually resulting in her truth.

Sadly Peter had taken a vaction with the break that Moy had given him, and he would only be returning in about a week. In the meantime, a couple of days after his birthday, his mother and him planned to once again go out to the egg shops. It's something they have been doing ever since he was 6 and first got Moy. Whenever the shops got a new shipment of eggs, April and him would go out to look at them, and he would check if there were any violet quality eggs.

Sadly the shops rarely got new shipments, only ten in the past four years, and that was over four shops. Although eggs were in high demand with new highschool trainers and graduates, the stores in general still had enough eggs to last a while. Clearly in all this time he hadn't found another violet quality egg, considering he would have snatched it up if he had. Not that he was expecting to, considering how absolutley rare they must be. Still he could at least try his luck.

It seemed that his luck had finally paid out though, because when he watched the eggs get unloaded from the cart he saw a faint violet shine on one of them.
