Pokemon Academy, Komoda City.

Thanking the staff for bringing him to his room, Hisoka put his hand on the doorknob and twisted it. The door was then opened, and he entered inside.

While taking off his coat, he inspected the room.

The room was quite big, with two beds, two wardrobes, a sofa, and a coffee table. There was also a window on the other side of the room. From here, he could see the lake that he had gone to earlier.

Suddenly, he smelled a faint sweet smell in the air. It was quite fresh and pleasant. He then noticed there were several flower pots in the room, and one of the flowers seemed to be moving, much to his curiosity.

When he walked over, a blue, round Pokemon with short legs and five green leaves popped out of the soil in the pot. It turned out to be Oddish, a very Pokemon that can be found in the forest of Kanto. Apparently, it was looking after the flowers in the room.

"Od-dish!"

Although the living bulb was a little surprised to see him, it soon returned to his work after saying hello to him, which was quite odd. Oddish was known to be timid. It rarely interacted with other Pokemon, much less a human.

It seemed most of the Pokemon in the park belonged to the academy as none of them were hostile nor frightened by their presence. Most Pokemon in the wild would either attack or run at first sight of a human.

Leaving the Oddish alone, he sat down on the bed that was the nearest to the window and began to unpack.

A little while later, a boy with a yellow cap walked into the room and realized someone was already inside.

"Hello, is this room 4B?"

He asked.

"Yes..."

When Hisoka lifted his head up from his phone, he was taken aback after seeing Jimmy's face. However, he quickly composed himself.

"Yes. This is room 4B. I'm Hisoka from Kanto. You are?"

He asked the boy even though he already knew who he was.

"This is my room, then. It's nice to meet you. I'm Jimmy. I came from Johto."

Said the boy, holding out his hand to him.

He shook the boy's hand with a calm smile.

"So why did you go all the way to Kanto to compete for this gym leader position? I think there are still many places in Johto without a gym, right? If you don't mind me asking."

While they were preparing themselves for the tournament tomorrow, Hisoka asked Jimmy a question in a curious manner.

"Actually, this isn't in my plan. The reason I came to Kanto is to participate in the Kanto League Conference this year. My goal is to travel around the world and see all kinds of Pokemon."

Jimmy replied. He became somewhat excited when stating his goal. But after that, he lowered his head in frustration.

"But my mother won't allow me to travel. She even forced me to join this tournament."

Hisoka understood what Jimmy's mother was doing. Aside from talent, you also need a lot of money to travel around the world as a trainer. Not everyone was lucky as Ash, who had Professor Oak's support.

"Since you're here, just try it. Even if you fail, you'll still have time to participate in this year's Kanto League Conference."

He comforted Jimmy.

"Thank you."

Said Jimmy in a grateful tone.

Seeing that it was already getting late, they both quickly went to bed. Shortly after, the lights in the room went out.

The next morning.

At the first ray of sunlight, Hisoka woke up as he yawned loudly. Rubbing his eyes, he then grabbed his watch from the bedside table. It was a quarter before seven.

He turned to the side, only to see Jimmy stirring up from his sleep. He then went to have a quick shower and quickly got dressed.

After telling Jimmy that he would be going to the canteen, he picked up his bag and left the room. Getting out of the dormitory, he made his way to the canteen where he had dinner yesterday.

Along the way, he met several people that appeared to be students from the academy. He also encountered a few people who would be participating in the tournament later.

At the canteen, he ordered his food and went to find an empty table. Once he sat down, he released all of his Pokemon. The canteen was big, and he could see many Pokemon in the surrounding area having their breakfast.

He had to admit that the treatment in the academy was excellent. If he wasn't over the edge, he would already join this academy. Even the food tasted great as he and his Pokemon tucked into their meal with gusto.

"Hey, you! This is my seat."

As he was eating, a little girl suddenly appeared in front of him as she spoke in a haughty tone.

However, instead of paying attention to her, he continued eating as if he didn't see her.

"I'll give you three seconds to leave, or... I'll ask someone to beat you up!"

Seeing that Hisoka was ignoring her, the little girl loudened her voice as she stomped her foot in frustration.

"Sorry, I didn't realize you were talking to me."

Hisoka finished his coffee with a burp and raised his head with an exaggerated surprised look, which the girl returned with a glare.

The girl was wearing a sailor uniform from the academy. She had long, dark brown, curly hair that reached to her back and had a red bow tie around his neck. She appeared to be around eleven years old.

"We're already done. You can take it."

He placed the empty bowls left by his Pokemon on the table and bowed slightly to her, who by now had her nostril flared in anger.

"I won't disturb you then. Enjoy your breakfast. Tata."

After teasing the little girl, he walked away with his Pokemon while whistling a merry tune.

"Asshole!"

As soon as Hisoka left the canteen, she finally couldn't help but curse loudly in irritation. That attracted the attention of everyone in the canteen as they turned to her.

"Hey, isn't that the Giselle? The top student in the academy. What's wrong with her today?"

Hearing the other students talking about her, she finally remembered where she was. She quickly calmed down and returned to her previous image of a perfect lady.
