Episode 30: Turtle and Mouse

Wart and Rai charge through the base, pushing pass any and every guard in their way. They breeze pass all obstacles in their way until they reach a room with a bunch of tiles with arrows on them. Rai tries to proceed like normal, but Wart stops him before he could lay his foot on the arrow.

Wart: Hold on, watch.

He grabs a knockout Rocket Grunt and tosses him onto the tile, sending him around the room uncontrollably.

Wart: I knew it. These things just look suspicious.

Rai: Ugh, why does this have to be so complicated?

He jumps onto one of the tiles before Wart could stop him. Eventually, after being sent around the entire room, he reaches the end and finds stairs to the next floor.

Rai: See, easy. Just do what I did.

Wart: ...How was I supposed to follow that?

Rai: I donno, good luck though.

Soon, after what felt like an eternity of spinning in circles, Wart catches up with Rai and they proceed to the next floor. They arrive to see even more arrow tiles but before they could continue through, a grunt appears to stop them.

Rocket Grunt: If I get rid of you intruders then I'll definitely get promot-

Before he could finish, Rai strikes him down with a Thunderbolt. They're about to leave, but they see a key fall out of his pocket.

Rai: You think this might be useful?

Wart: Maybe, just grab it in case.

They then send themselves around the room on the arrow tiles and not long after, they reach the end and go down to the 4th floor, just to reach a dead end.

Rai: So now what?

Wart: Remember that key you grabbed?

Rai: Yeah, why?

Wart: Let me see it.

He takes the key and starts to examine it.

Wart: I knew it. It's a key for the elevators. If we go on the elevator maybe we can get to somewhere new.

They reach one of the elevators and sure enough, it works. They enter and go back down to the 4th floor. When the doors open, they see 2 more Grunts blocking a door.

Rocket Grunts: You'll never reach the bos-

They get cut off by a Thunderbolt and Water Pulse while Rai and Wart confront their leader.

???: Impressive, those were some of my better grunts and you breezed through them all with ease. Let me introduce myself, my name is Giovanni, the leader of Team Rocket, pleasure to meet you.
