7 Chapter 007 | The legendary bird of seven
After deciding on his plans, Arthur swiftly acted on them.
It didn't take him a lot of time to pass through the river. As he was passing through it, he even saw a red-haired girl fishing. She was obviously the next Cerulean city gym leader, Misty, and a part of the original trio of Pokemon.
Although Arthur glanced at her, he didn't try to get her attention. They would meet eventually in the future and if he tried to talk to her now, he could make changes in the original events that were going to happen.
So, he just glanced at her and her bike with pity for a second and went on his way.
He traveled for some time before eventually finding a small hill from where he was easily able to see Viridian city.
'This is the perfect place to see Ho-Oh.'
Arthur thought as he stood on the hill and stared at the sky which was getting covered by black clouds. It was the indication that the original events from the anime were soon going to happen.
"I wonder what would be the aptitude of a legendary Pokemon?"
Arthur thought out loud.
He was sure that a Pokemon like Ho-Oh would at least be of Black aptitude, but it could also be something completely different. After all, his system wasn't omnipotent and he was sure that there were things that even his system can't gauge.
Like that, he kept thinking and time began to tick away.
Soon, the whole sky was covered in black and it started to pour down on the earth. Arthur knew that it was finally starting and he fixed his eyes on the pathway.
"Spearrrrr!!"
A lot of cries suddenly echoed.
Arthur scrunched his head to look at the way the sound had come from and saw a teenager pedaling a bike with all his strength. There was an injured Pikachu in the bike's basket and he looked to be taking his last breaths.
Chasing him was the whole group of angry Spearows who looked like they would really kill both of them today.
'Pikachu looks like he will die soon.'
Arthur thought and as soon as Pikachu came on his radar, he scanned his information.
A transparent window opened in front of him as Pikachu's whole status appeared and he was not able to stop himself from gaping in shock. It was just too shocking!

Arthur nearly shouted out loud when he looked at Pikachu's status. He already had thoughts about Pikachu having a red aptitude, but it wasn't just that.
When he focused more on his status, he found out that the red color on his status was really deep. It was almost as red as blood and it meant that Pikachu can even attain black aptitude if he was trained well.
'Ash is really the main character…'
Arthur thought and frowned inwardly. Just having Pikachu was enough to make him one of the strongest trainers in the world. It was really heavenly level luck.
As he was sighing about Pikachu's status, the events of the anime started to play out.
Ash fell from the bike and told Pikachu to get inside his pokeball to save him from the Spearows. Arthur had to admit that Ash looked like the main character at this moment. He was courageous and was ready to give away his life for his Pokemon.
Although he was called dumb and stupid by many people online in Arthur's past life, one had to admit that his growth as a trainer was evident.
It was also the reason why he eventually won the Alola league.
Arthur felt like he was rewatching the anime's first episode as he saw the injured Pikachu leaping across Ash's shoulder and jumping into the middle of the flock of angry Spearows.

Even Arthur got scared by the intensity and power of the thunder attack.
He saw wild Pokemon hiding and running away in fear as the flock of Spearows fell to the ground. Most of them have already lost their lives and those who survived quickly ran away.
The leader of the flock of Spearows running away would one day become the next head of the Spearow ethnic group on route 1 and it was quite strong, but Arthur didn't try to capture it.
It was because the Spearow was too injured and it would take a long time for him to recover.
He was not worth investing in according to Arthur and he wasn't even focusing on him at that moment. It was because it was finally time for Ho-Oh to appear.
'The rain stopped and a rainbow is forming.'
Arthur looked at the sky where the rainbow was forming.
It was the first time he had seen such scenery and it was more than enough to captivate him.

He suddenly heard the sound of flapping wings and a shiny silhouette appeared in the sky, looking like a god that has descended into the world.
The Pokemon's magnificent feathers were shining with seven colors and it was flying over the rainbow. It was the Pokemon of the legend - The mystic scared bird - Ho-Oh!!
Arthur felt like his soul was stirring watching Ho-Oh, but he didn't forget his original goal and tried to scan it, but the only result he got was…

Arthur was surprised to see that message.

Arthur frowned in disappointment as he saw the rainbow wing in Ash's hand. He knew the implications of one and how great was it to have one.
He had thought that he would receive one too, but he was not the main character after all.
With a small disappointment, he descended the hill and made his way towards Viridian City. Although he was not the main character, he has the confidence to become greater than one.
