Route007: Gabite-sundae

After their triumphs against the lapras and the abomasnow, the two groups walked up to each other and re-grouped for their upcoming clash against the gabites.

"Sis, you did it! You defeated the abomasnow" said victor.

"Yeah gloria, you did a splendid job for sure" said bea.

"Miss gloria, you were amazing out there, nice job" said tomiyasu.

"You're so impressive gloria. To be able to 1-vs-1 an abomasnow that strong is awesome" said koharu.

Sora, bearing all that ghosting simply stood there, silently. That was untill he walked up to the two primeapes and started petting them.

"I've never seen primeapes this amazing! Beating a high-level lapras while having to deal with a muscle-bound mannequin and a pair of glasses is just amazing" said sora as he finally spoke up.

"Muscle-bound mannequin?" asked bea furiously as she smacked him on his chest while tomiyasu silently absorbed the insult.

"Anyways, we've completed this step. I'll heal the pokemon we captured and the ones we fought with now. After that, we go fight them" said sora.

Bea called out her lapras as sora did the same with his abomasnow. He started with healing the pokemon he already has and was done with, untill he found out he only had three left for both lapras and abomasnow.

"I'll heal the abomasnow first with the remaining berries, I have an idea for lapras" said sora as he fed the unconscious abomasnow some sitrus berries, leading it to full recovery.

"Aren't we out of berries now? Is the lapras gonna stay unconscious?" asked bea.

"No idiot. Abomasnow, can you use water pulse on that lapras a bunch of times? I swear it'll not get hurt at all" said sora.

The abomasnow which was doubtful yet captured listened to sora and started firing non-stop water pulses at the lapras.

The unconscious lapras slowly started to move and woke up by the time the second one hit. Abomasnow, witnessing the phenomenon started firing more of those untill it was fully healed.

"Why's that lapras healing from an attack, sora?" asked satoshi as he came running from somewhere.

That was when the groups realised, satoshi got lost and that he wasn't here. Afterall, if he was here he'd scream a shit ton.

"It's because of lapras's ability which helps it regain health whenever it's hit by water-type moves" said sora.

Just then, a loud voice was heard as it announced something just like before. "Kids, there's only thirty minutes left, so hurry up a bit" said the announcer as the voice disappeared.

Sora, bea and the rest of them knew how low on time they were so they told their pokemon to run with them and start using stat-boosting moves while the two ice-types were called back.

As there was no time to sit down and discuss a strategy, the two groups discussed it on their way to the edge of the forest.

As they reached the place, sora and satoshi found some familiar faces infront of them with disappointment in their eyes.

"You good-for-nothing imbeciles will not complete this at all as I wasn't able to. Go face your deaths there as I'll win it anyways even if I don't beat the gabites" said garry oak.

"What was that for jerk? We're gonna win this time you arrogant little jerk!" said satoshi.

"Your lot has no chances here, beating the gabites is impossible. Since my group has more great-balls left, I'll win" said garry.

"Just because it's hard for you doesn't mean we give a shit. We're here to win so can you please move your pathetic existence out of here, retard?" said sora as he felt such words were necessary for the moment.

"Why you little-" screamed gary as he charged head on to punch sora, only to be blocked by bea as she one-shot him with a jab to his chest.

"Anyways, I think I'll literally use you as a stepping stone here" said sora as two groups walked by gary's group.

A loud voice was heard once again as it came with an announcement just when bea and sora's groups were gonna approach the gabites as it said "Kids, there's only ten-minutes left here so I think I'll have to implement this rule. The team with more great-balls left moves on".

Bea, sora, tomiyasu and gloria stood upfront with their pokemon who were wearing necklaces with some reddish-berry. Sora was controlling the lapras and his raboot as bea used a primeape just like tomiyasu and gloria controlled the abomasnow and her monferno.

"We're gonna use the exact strategy we decided on using, alright?!" said sora as the rest of them started making their moves on the two gabites.

"Monferno, use mach punch!" said gloria as sora's raboot silently walked up to the battle.

"Primeape, use fire-punch from the back on the other one" said bea as tomiyasu's primeape followed along with the same move upfront.

The first gabite was cocky, as it absolutely outclassed the monferno in every way so it let it hit him as he stood there, letting its guard down completely.

"Combo-switch-hit!" said gloria as the monferno's punch started generating flames while the raboot sneaked in on the first gabite from behind, preparing a double-kick.

The gabite got even cockier, looking at the fire-type move. And so it hit him, doing a tiny amount of damage. To gabite, this was totally laughable.

As a reply, the gabite tried to stab the monferno infront of it, only to be met by a barrage of unexpected double-kicks from the back, doing a decent chunk.

"Again, buddy!" said gloria as the monferno hit the gabite once again, doing laughable damage and....a bit more? Marks of flames were visible on gabite as they made him feel uncomfortable.

"Retreat, we've got this!" said sora as the two pokemon ran from the gabite to avoid getting injured badly.

As for attacks on the other gabite, things weren't much different at all as bea's primeape hit the gabite from the back when it was blocking tomiyasu's primeape's fire punch, making it get hit by both of them and catching a burn.

On both sides, furious gabites with terrific burns were available, along with relaxed reactions from the four kids as their battles merged into one.

"Primeape, you've done enough" said tomiyasu and bea simultaneously as they called back their pokemon and went near gloria and sora who did the same with theirs.

The sudden withdrawals came with sora and gloria calling out their ice-type powerhouses. Ones who are perfect for this battle.

The immediate entry of abomasnow came with its surroundings, covering a large distance coming under the effect of hail. A weather affect which boosts the power of ice-type moves and makes blizzard a move which can't miss.

The existence of this effect made the two gabites feel really uncomfortable, being stuck inside it as dragon-earth dual-types.

"Lapras use blizzard constantly and focus just on it. Abomasnow, use water pulse on lapras to always keep it at full-hp" said sora as he chuckled a bit.

The gabites, unable to move quickly took a lot of damage with the first one's remaining hp only being 40% because of the double-kicks from the raboot, burn damage and the blizzard.

The second one on the other hand had 50% of its max hp left. The two could tank atleast a second one before going down.

The announcer, like an absolute asshole, came in during such an amazing moment, only to say that there's a minute left.

Just then, gary's team walked in to taunt the two groups and celebrate infront of their faces.

"Guess you can't do it after all, huh?" said gary with a smug look on his face.

Sora simply didn't have time for his bullshit as he commanded his lapras to use blizzard once again.

This time though, the gabites who had nothing to lose started charging head on towards the lapras as they hit it with two earthquakes, leaving it with ten-percent of its hp left as it fired a blizzard afterwards, bringing the two down to being too weak to handle a blizzard.

With the two gabites being so close to the lapras, he knew that he couldn't fire off a blizzard or heal it enough before the two hit it with earthquakes so he had to do this, a rather cruel thing.

The announcer once again cursed the groups with his shitty voice as he said "kids, thirty seconds are left as I speak. Can you do it now after all this time".

"Oi abomasnow, this is my final command to you, please shield the lapras with your body, that's all I wish for buddy" said sora as he sent it to its fall.

The abomasnow took the full blunt of the two earthquakes, fainting. This wasn't wasted though, as it bought enough time for lapras to hit the two with blizzards, making them faint.

"Yes we did it!" echoed the screams from satoshi, serena, koharu and the rest as gary oak was left completely surprised.

This moment of happiness was once again interrupted by the announcer as he started a countdown. "Ten...."

Bea and sora, who were quite far from the gabites knew what to do. "Nine" said the announcer as the two grabbed their great-balls and took their first step.

"Eight" said the announcer as they moved a few meters ahead. "Seven" said the announcer as they got a bit closer....."six" said the announcer as the two reached the place their abomasnow was in before the self-sacrifice.

"Five.....four" went the announcer as they reached the lapras's location. "Three..." went the announcer as the two jumped ahead and hit the unconscious gabites with the great-ball as they went inside.

"Two..." went the announcer as the balls in their hands **beeped** untill the announcer went "and...one" as they stabilised for once.

In a moment of awe, gary oak and his teammates were heartbroken while satoshi jumped up along with koharu as serena smiled. "Those two idiotic geniuses, they did it" said gloria and tomiyasu simultaneously as they facepalmed without disappointment while saying that absolutely oxymoron.

Sora and bea, right after their triumph looked at each other, smiling as they fist-bumped. "We did it, muscle-bound girl" said sora as he was greeted by a warm fist of love to his face.

"After a break of about thirty-minutes, I request group-9 and group-10 to join me for the finals" said the announcer who turned out to be oak.
